“She was go great and patient with my two babies. They fell in love with her. I’m definitely going to be booking her again. I love that she sent me pictures and a review after every walk! thank you so so much.”

“Kathryn is the best! We use her services infrequently but she has always been flexible and accommodated our last minute bookings and our dog's restrictions after his knee surgery. She also has a calm presence and our timid dog warmed up to her quickly. Kathryn is great and we are so lucky to have found her!”

“Eric is way more than I expected. I haven't used others to walk my dog, but I just had major surgery and had no alternative. Callie anxiously awaits Eric's arrival and is so excited to go with him. It makes my heart sing. He clearly understands dogs.”

“Amber is the best! She has quickly become our go to when we have to be away. All of our animals love her and she does a fantastic job of documenting their time together!”

“Carla is a Godsend for our pups! We have a 116lb Shepard/lab mix and a 67lb hound mix. They are great dogs, but can be a handful on walks. Carla is a pro! They responded well to her from the day they first met her - and they’ve been happy walking with her ever since. This past weekend…she was able to help us out on very short notice when we were unable to board the dogs because of the horrible cough that’s going around. We came home to happy, healthy and tired pups. Carla went above and beyond for us and our pups. Thank you, Carla!!”

About: Hi!! I’m Emily and I’m a third year veterinary student at Colorado State. I graduated May 2024 with my bachelors degree in Animal Science as both an honors scholar and cum laude. I have always had dogs growing up and have had 4+ years as a veterinary assistant in the large animal department at the veterinary teaching hospital. I have two Great Danes of my own and a husband that all simply have my heart! However, I enjoy stepping away from studying and school and meeting new pups - whether that means drop-ins or walks! I would love to have the opportunity to get to know and care for your pup! In terms of availability, while I am in school, I prefer to only do weekends but as soon as school gets out for the summer (May 16th), I am available! I am comfortable with crating dogs, oral medication, special walks, and all of the above. When working as a veterinary assistant, I have gained a lot of skills in caring for your pup!
“Kassiandra was great with my dog. Communication was fast and I was so thankful that she was able to accept my last minute request. I’m a new mom and my dog desperately needed the exercise. Thank you!”

“Becca is the best. The dogs love her and she’s patient and loving with them. She leaves very detailed report cards, giving us peace of mind that that dogs are taken care of!”

“Charissa went above and beyond caring for my little, energetic puppy. He had a fun time and was nice and tired afterward which is a true testament to her dedication and care. My puppy at points can be so energetic it can be exhausting, but Charissa constantly played with him and gave him lots of love.”

“Shannon was great with our kiddos and we couldn’t have had more peace of mind while on vacation. We could tell they were smiling in the photos she sent and she let them go at their own pace with time for sniffs and grass rolls. She was also prompt and communicative. We would love to have her come in the future!”

“Alissa did an AMAZING job with our pup Luna. She can be quite a handful but when we came home our girl was taking a long nap as she had 2 great walks around the lake. Alissa also accommodated to our needs of using codes to get into our apartment and unit along with booking a second walk last minute. :)”

“AJ was professional and friendly and took time to meet my new rescue dog before starting service. AJ took extra care of my dog, providing lots of care for him and communicating with photos and updates after their visit. I would highly recommend AJ!”

“Melody walked my fur babies, and is our first ever dog walker. Melody is super thoughtful, communicative and sincere. I am so happy I took a chance on Rover <3 Will definitely rebook with her!”

“Chloe was a great dog walker! She was prompt, friendly, and took several pictures during the walk, which I really appreciated. Louie seemed to really enjoy her company, and she did a great job taking care of him. I would definitely hire Chloe again!”

“Danielle is wonderful! She is a very caring and conscientious pet sitter. She is thorough, punctual, and trust worthy. Our puppy loves her and we are so sad she is leaving this area because both us and our pup are all going to miss her!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Loveland
Scarlett is very protective of our home and Aubrey knows exactly what to do to get her outside. I work long days so it is important for Scarlett to go out while I'm at work. Aubrey does a great job coming into our home and working with Scarlett to make her feel comfortable enough to take her for a walk. They are starting to become good friends. I would highly recommend Aubrey.
I hired Autumn for walking my two very active border collies, twice per day. Autumn was on time every visit, sent updates and photos (including one of my cat that she was not pet sitting), and also cleaned up a huge mess that my pup had created. She’s timely with requests too, I never have trouble communicating with her. She’s a compassionate and caring pet sitter and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
