I am a certified dog trainer with a lifetime of companion care and 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience as well as a pre-vet major. Some seasons are busier than others, and that's normal. Pet Care is already a part of my daily life, so these requests come as a breeze for me. I try to update my calender monthly, but if things don't look right, if your other sitter isn't available, or if you just need someone ASAP, you are always free to message me any time in the app. I try to reply as soon as possible, but sometimes I don't recieve notifications, so it may take me a few hours to reply in some instances. My calender should reflect my un-availability at minimum. If you have any questions, please message me as I am flexible and will accommodate where possible. Keeping things fear-free as much as possible is a priority for me. This means, I won't push your pets boundaries if they won't push mine. I like to keep things calm, relaxing, and easy or neutral. When I meet them for the first time during the meet & greet, I wait for them to come up to me. It's what they are comfortable with. This helps everyone establish trust and familiarity. My hope is that I can be your go to whenever you need pet care. Sometimes, I use miracle tones to help with fear, it is soothing and calming for all. Pet TV is a great option for their environment while you are away and a new person is in their home too. I like to stick to a rhythm or routine. As I enter their palace, I introduce myself gently by using a high pitched soft tone and a treat. Then, I let them sniff me out before they welcome me through. Any grievances? No siree! Next, I like to start feedings and medications after activities. But, I take it at their pace. Afterwards, I will take care of cleaning & notes before my departure from their palace. About: I've taken care of animals my whole life. I even have a special bond with animals because I understand them and get a long with them better than people. My friends and family have always relied on me to take care of their animals because they know that they will be good hands. I am currently not working so I have a lot of flexibility during the day. I also have a 7 year old son so when school gets out, I do have to pick him up from school. I have 2 cats who are free to roam around the house. I currently do not have any dogs but only because I have a low fence.

I’m very active and enjoy taking dogs on long walks and making sure they get both exercise and enrichment. I also have experience with feral and unsocialized cats, so I’m comfortable working with a wide range of temperaments, routines, and needs. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate midday check-ins and sometimes last-minute bookings. About: Hi, I'm Brooke! I have approximately 10 years of animal caretaking experience including dogs, cats, and many other kinds of animals. I am comfortable with animals of all kinds, sizes, and ages, and am comfortable administering medication or other special care to our beloved friends as needed. Currently I'm a part-time work from home professional with a lot of time and space to take care of animals, meaning there is basically always someone home to keep an eye on your pets. My home has a friendly chocolate lab mix and a pug frenchie mix that would both love some play time with your pup. If your dog is a couch potato, that's cool too! I also have a large fenced backyard with doggy door access and ample indoor play space for those days where the weather isn't so kind. I'm located in the middle of a large network of neighborhoods and parks with a lot of easy access for walks. I am comfortable handling multiple dogs while on walks or having multiple animals hosted at my house. I hope I get the chance to meet you and your companions, whether they be dogs, cats, or something else! Currently I'm a part time work from home professional with a lot of time and space to take care of animals meaning there is always someone home to keep an eye on your pets. Dogs are allowed to roam the house with us, and we do allow our dogs on furniture. I ensure supervised play time in our fenced in back yard, or in the downstairs area of our house, and frequent potty breaks. We have a doggy door for easy access, for the dogs that are comfortable using it. Dogs are closely supervised and typically not left alone at the house when boarding those I'm not super familiar with. I have plenty of space for you to bring your pet's kennel/carrier or bed of some kind if you'd like, and toys are welcome too! I do my best to ensure the dogs aren't stealing each other's toys. Unfortunately we can't host cats at our house. However, I am happy to provide cat care in the comfort of your home! I follow care guidelines given carefully and to the best of my ability. I will always communicate any questions or concerns that arise before and during care.
