About: I've taken care of animals my whole life. I even have a special bond with animals because I understand them and get a long with them better than people. My friends and family have always relied on me to take care of their animals because they know that they will be good hands. I am currently not working so I have a lot of flexibility during the day. I also have a 7 year old son so when school gets out, I do have to pick him up from school. I have 2 cats who are free to roam around the house. I currently do not have any dogs but only because I have a low fence.

If your pet requires a specific medication schedule, multiple feedings a day, or extra companionship while you are away, I can seamlessly integrate their routine into my workday. If they are used to cuddling on the couch or sleeping in bed, they are more than welcome to do so. However, I am happy to enforce any house rules and boundaries you already have in place. Overall, I maintain a very clean, organized, and pet-proofed home. All trash cans have lids, plants are kept out of reach, and miscellaneous items are never left out where a dog can reach them. I live in a third-floor apartment with no elevator. My home is best suited for dogs who are fully mobile or small enough to be easily carried, as we will need to navigate two flights of stairs for every outing. My apartment complex features a private dog park and plenty of walking paths. I also have access to a community doggy bathing station, which is perfect if your dog requires bathing while in my care.

About: Hi, I’m Ashley and I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I recently moved to the area from Florida where I ran an animal rescue for four years. I have tons of experience with dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. I also have a lot of experience with animals with medical issues who need medication or extra care. I am a stay at home mom so I have lots of time to dedicate to caring for your pets! We go on at least one walk in the morning and I have a large yard with a privacy fence for additional exercise and potty breaks throughout the day. The rest of our day can be easily modified to make your pet as comfortable as possible. I have a large fully fenced yard as well as several nice parks near by that we love to walk around. I can crate your pet if that’s what their used to along with providing structured play and enrichment activities.

I am a certified dog trainer with a lifetime of companion care and 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience as well as a pre-vet major. My skills are in veterinary medicine, welfare, conservation, Ecology, and marine biology. I am certified fear free. I have experience with dog & cat grooming, lodging, daycare, training, education, and medical care. I have even worked with dogs from k9 units and search & rescue units. Common questions: What if my pet has a disability? No problem! You let me know what they need and I can accommodate them, even if they have behavioral issues. What if my pet needs medications? High energy pets have high activity levels, they require lots of exercise and attention. I can make multiple visits, take them for walks, and even work on training plans while you're away. Some seasons are busier than others, and that's normal. Pet Care is already a part of my daily life, so these requests come as a breeze for me. I try to update my calender monthly, but if things don't look right, if your other sitter isn't available, or if you just need someone ASAP, you are always free to message me any time in the app. I try to reply as soon as possible, but sometimes I don't recieve notifications, so it may take me a few hours to reply in some instances. My calender should reflect my un-availability at minimum. If you have any questions, please message me as I am flexible and will accommodate where possible. Keeping things fear-free as much as possible is a priority for me. This means, I won't push your pets boundaries if they won't push mine. I like to keep things calm, relaxing, and easy or neutral. When I meet them for the first time during the meet & greet, I wait for them to come up to me. It's what they are comfortable with. This helps everyone establish trust and familiarity. My hope is that I can be your go to whenever you need pet care. Sometimes, I use miracle tones to help with fear, it is soothing and calming for all. Pet TV is a great option for their environment while you are away and a new person is in their home too. I like to stick to a rhythm or routine. As I enter their palace, I introduce myself gently by using a high pitched soft tone and a treat. Then, I let them sniff me out before they welcome me through. Any grievances? No siree! Next, I like to start feedings and medications after activities. But, I take it at their pace. Afterwards, I will take care of cleaning & notes before my departure from their palace. About: I’ve been the go to pet sitter for my friends for 5 years now, including full week house and pet sitting. Love playing and walks! I currently work from home! So as long as I am not tied up with a meeting at work I’m free to take some time out of my day to help out! About: I moved to Johnstown Farms last February and have absolutely fallen in love with the community here. I bring many years of experience caring for both cats and dogs—including my own—so I understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pets while you’re away. My two cats, Tigerlily (13) and Tanner (10), are a big part of my life and have been with me since they were young. Tigerlily was rescued from a college parking lot and is a total princess who loves sunbathing and will absolutely let you know when she wants treats or the blinds opened so she can soak up the sun. Tanner is my “foster fail,” adopted after I took in her and her siblings from a difficult situation involving stray cats being poisoned in the neighborhood. She is very playful and rambunctious, but also one of the best cuddle buddies. I grew up with dogs and still have a beloved family dog who lives with my parents. I’m very active and enjoy taking dogs on long walks and making sure they get both exercise and enrichment. I also have experience with feral and unsocialized cats, so I’m comfortable working with a wide range of temperaments, routines, and needs. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate midday check-ins and sometimes last-minute bookings. I’m always happy to tailor my visits to your pet’s personality and routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Not only do I work from home so my schedule is quite flexible but I am also a morning person, so my day starts at 6am in the morning and typically includes 2 miles walk that I would be happy to share with a pup. I think its important not to leave pets unattended while playing in the yard (dogs) or to make sure they are supervised when playing with certain toys (cats).
