“We were able to book Kieanne 4 days before our trip and set everything up in that time frame. Kieanne and her husband were fantastic and did a great job caring for our dogs twice a day while we were on vacation. I felt very comfortable with them after our first meeting and it was great seeing the pictures and report card each day. I greatly appreciate their time with our dogs and we will definitely be using them again. I would highly recommend Kieanne to anyone who is looking for a great dog sitter!!”

“Amber was awesome and Harriet took to her right away. Looking at the daily pictures she liked sitting in Amber's lap and getting pets, Harriet’s expression said all!! Slightly jealous...lol just kidding. I d definitely book Amber's again.”

“Shannon took amazing care of my cats, even my diabetic cat that needs insulin by injection. She was so nice and sent updates and photos. Will definitely book her again!”

“Kathryn did a wonderful job watching my two cats while I was out of town. I got pictures with each visit and they were quite content when I got home. Kathryn was easy to communicate with. Thank you!”

“Debbie is simply the best! She has taken care of our beloved kitty during our extended trips away and we sleep easy under her care! She goes above and beyond in her care, is extremely communicative and most importantly, loves on our kitty as if he were her own. Thank you, Debbie! We don’t know what we’d do without you!”

About: Hi!! I’m Emily and I’m a third year veterinary student at Colorado State. I graduated May 2024 with my bachelors degree in Animal Science as both an honors scholar and cum laude. I have always had dogs growing up and have had 4+ years as a veterinary assistant in the large animal department at the veterinary teaching hospital. I have two Great Danes of my own and a husband that all simply have my heart! However, I enjoy stepping away from studying and school and meeting new pups - whether that means drop-ins or walks! I would love to have the opportunity to get to know and care for your pup! In terms of availability, while I am in school, I prefer to only do weekends but as soon as school gets out for the summer (May 16th), I am available! I am comfortable with crating dogs, oral medication, special walks, and all of the above. When working as a veterinary assistant, I have gained a lot of skills in caring for your pup!
“Mark is a warm and wonderful person and we are thrilled to have had him care for our 2 fur babies. Very attentive, caring and professional, I can’t recommend him enough! Communication was a breeze and we loved all of the photos. Thank you Mark!”

About: In college, I worked at a vet hospital in the boarding section of the building. I administered medications, as well as played with the dogs and looked over the cats while they were boarding with us. I’ve pet sat for many friends, family and coworkers over the years. I’m also currently raising a poodle puppy of my own. I’m on maternity leave through mid July. I’ll be very available to check in on your pet through that time. In July, I’ll be available Tuesdays, Fridays, and the weekends. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly male poodle if you pet stays with me. I can also take your dogs on walks, cuddle on the couch, play fetch, or whatever they need!
“Henry and Maya LOVED their time with Danielle! She was amazing with them. They played, walked, ate and Maya even took her medicine with no fuss. I would recommend Danielle to anyone looking for someone to stay with their pets :)”

“I really appreciate the time that is taken to just be around so my pet doesn’t have to feel alone when I’m unable to be here. Kathy takes the time to help with that. I really like the pictures because it helps ensure that the pet looks and feels OK. You can tell when they’re happy and my kitty is happy when Kathy is there. Just having that positive presence is good for pets health when their person is away.. . If you want a positive presence for your pet then Kathy would be a great sitter for you too!”

“Mike was amazing and so helpful! We are so thankful for you helping take care of the fur babies while we were gone for a couple of days. He made the right call when one of them had the runs and kept us in the loop the whole time about everything that was going on. I am very thankful for your help, Mike. We would love to book again soon!”

“Amy has been so great with our dog - he loves her! Amy has always communicated clearly with me regarding scheduling and how our dog was doing. She has always been more than willing to pick up last-minute check-ins for our dog when my schedule changed. I knew I could rely on her in a pinch. I would highly recommend her to those on Rover looking for a reliable dog sitter.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Loveland
Amy was awesome and left daily thoughtful reports and picture updates. She even brought her own toys for my cats. As she dropped off our garage opener one of my cats ran to the door to greet her as she was leaving. She takes great pride in her work and will definitely be using again!

Maya is absolutely wonderful. She is sweet and patient with our cat, who can get anxious when we're away — but he warmed up to her immediately. Maya kept us updated with photos and messages throughout our trip, which gave us real peace of mind. She was thoughtful, caring, and thorough, and went above and beyond for Chevy. We couldn't have felt better about leaving him in her hands — she'll be our go-to sitter from now on.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Loveland. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
