“We are so grateful for the amazing care our dogs received. Since I travel for work, it’s incredibly important to have someone we can trust in our home. Our dogs stayed comfortable in their own environment, and the daily updates made us feel connected even while I was away. Our dogs were happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. We look forward to booking with Chris again!”

About: I live in a very full and very happy home of five rescue doggos and a cat-that-thinks-she-is-a-dog. Needless to say, I juggle many different personalities, needs, and quirks every day. I feel most fulfilled getting to know animals for who they are and building trust at their own pace. I use positive reinforcement and pay close attention to behavioral cues, especially with dogs who are anxious, fearful, or need a little extra patience. I have hands-on experience managing multi-dog dynamics, including situations with food or fear aggression, so I’m very intentional about following each pet’s specific routine and your instructions. Alongside pet care, I’ve spent nearly two decades teaching dance to all ages, which taught me how to corral a group of strong personalities. The skills translate well: patience, awareness, and keeping structure and calm when things get a little unpredictable. At the end of the day, I treat every animal like a whole little person—just one who might occasionally eat something they absolutely shouldn’t. I keep a flexible schedule and can accommodate a range of routines. I book thoughtfully so I can be fully present, reliable, and consistent for your pets. My approach centers on safety, trust, and a calm, low-stress environment. I follow routines closely, read each pet’s cues, and let them warm up at their own pace so they feel secure and understood—not overwhelmed.

About: I have been around dogs for over 20 years. I can connect with them in ways others cannot. I have never had an issue with a dog and people often tell me that dogs love me. I am currently looking to take on as much as I can! I am a runner so if your dog likes going on runs I can take them with me or if they like the slower pace of walking I can do that too. I’m a grad student so when I’m not in class I’m at home My roommate has a dog that stays in his kennel most of the day besides when he is let out and if there is another dog in the house that I am watching over they stay with me in my room and typically never leave my side
“Kieanne took care of my two beautiful cats for two weeks, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She was incredibly diligent and thoughtful throughout. Every day, she sent me photos and videos, and it was so comforting to see how happy and well care they were. Her genuine love for them was obvious, even from afar. When I returned home, the cats looked beautiful, relaxed, and clearly content. The final sign of how much they adored her was when she came by to return the keys, they ran straight to her without hesitation. That kind of comfort level doesn’t lie. Thank you so much Kieanne :)”

“This was our second time having AJ look after our dog. AJ was again great with our two dogs. They both really liked her. It was our new dog Lucy's frist time being watched by AJ. Lucy loved AJ and was AJ's new buddy. We will definitely use AJ again and recommend them to anyone needing a pet sitter. AJ communicated through out the day with us. It's nice being able to leave the dogs and know they were being well cared for.”

“Bridgett took excellent care of our furr babies while we were away for a week. This was the longest we have been separated from them and it a great reassurance to have Bridgett care for them. Bridgett was very communicative and observant and spent lots of quality time with our cat and dog. I highly recommend Bridgett for your loved ones.”

“Jessica dropped in to check on our pups at the times we requested and sent us photos of our pups so we knew they were taken care of and had some playtime. She was communicative and followed all instructions. We’ll use her again for sure!”

About: I have had cats and dogs since I was very young and during that time I had taken care of the litter of kittens that my cat had produced. I also make sure that all my pets get the medications and particular carving for the food. I am currently home full time with two dogs that don’t really need immense care so I can pop out and take care of the dogs or cats whenever I am needed. I also wake up nice and early in case it is needed. I take them for walk daily and I have a fenced yard in the back and a few extra leashes in case they are needed. My dogs can be out up if they needed to but after some time they will acclimate to the other pets in the house and be more friendly with them.

“Nicole helped keep my new border collie company for a couple drop in visits while I was away long hours at work. She was communicative and responsive and I know Logan loved it! Thanks Nicole!”

“Tonali was a pleasure to work with! We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our two cats were being well taken care of. It was always nice when we would receive pictures of pets to let us know how they were doing. Tonali also watered our plants and brought in packages left at the door. We will definitely be using her again in the future!!”

About: I have owned cats for over 20 years. I currently have 2 cats and adore them. They are good around small dogs and other cats. I have a great setup that includes scratching posts, towers, ledges, hammocks, and even a cat condo. They love spying on birds, squirrels, and other critters on the ledges by the window. I only take one client at a time so will not board other cats during your booking. I'd like to keep it to a two cat max, but if you have more we can discuss it. I am flexible and open minded. Small dogs are also welcome. My cats are good around dogs. They ignore them, just like they ignore me when I tell them to behave :) I have a fresh running water cat fountain and toys and will give your cats all of the TLC they deserve. I know how important it is to know your cats are in good hands and will go out of my way to ensure they are happy. I work full time Monday-Friday 6am-4pm. I do make it home during lunch to let them out for a potty break. I'm off on the weekends. This should not be a problem for cats. Water/litter will be changed/cleaned daily. I feed the cats/dogs twice a day. If you need anything else, I can accommodate whatever your needs are. My cats are family and mean the world to.me! They are loved and treated well. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Berthoud. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
