About: I’ve been taking care of other people’s pets since I was 15, and working on Rover for about a year and a half. I know how important our fur families are and would love to be there to support your dog(s) and/or cat(s) while you are away. I have experience with multiple breeds of dogs, such as Pit Bulls, Greyhounds, German Shepherds, Shih Tzus, Beagles, Golden-Doodles, Schnauzers, Chihuahuas and all sorts of mixed-breeds. All ages welcome, as I have experience working with dogs from ~3 months to 16 years old. Additionally, I have experience working with dogs and cats with disabilities and special needs, such as blindness, deafness, heart murmurs, joint issues, hip dysplasia, and thyroid conditions. I’m experienced in providing oral medication, eye drops, and vitamins/supplements. I am highly attuned to the ways pets express their feelings of joy, love, and fear. I use this knowledge to support my care for them and am responsive to the ways they communicate their comfort levels. My main goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for your pets to thrive while you are away. I care for the animals I sit for as if they were mine! I know the pet parent’s experience is just as important and send pictures, videos, and detailed updates daily to ensure they know their families are getting amazing care while they’re away. I work from home and can easily transition my workstation to any place necessary. Most of my plans I have are flexible and local. I love going on walks and spending time at home reading/crafting. I update my calendar regularly on Rover to ensure it’s correct for ease of use. I am happy to provide care in client’s homes and keep it clean as if it were my own place. The families I work with often comment I left their homes cleaner than when they left. I’m happy to help water plants, grab mail, take out the trash, bring in packages, and anything else that helps take care of your home while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule and can easily keep your fur babies on their feeding, walking, and bathroom schedules.

Shelby went above and beyond to win over and spend time with Kiwi, who was not being very outgoing. We really appreciated the peace of mind knowing how seriously Shelby took Kiwi's care. Vicki was very sweet towards our 2 cats. I was very nervous about leaving them behind as it was the first time they’ve been alone for that long, and alone with a stranger, but Vicki was very kind and gentle with the cats and was patient. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
