“Pamela was great. My dogs are picky and take a bit to build trust generally speaking. However Pamela won them over very quickly and earned their trust. She has good dog energy and was extremely professional and communicative throughout the process. I will definitely be using her again.”

About: Hi there! I am a firm believer in treating pets like family and showing them nothing but love. My pets can do no wrong in my eyes and I know what it’s like to worry about them when I’m away from home. I am an attentive and caring and have loved having pets my entire life in addition to a few years experience petsitting dogs and cats back in California and Oregon. I also spent time caregiving for the elderly and looking after their pets was a big part of the job. I am open to caring for any type of animal! I am currently a full time student with availability weekday mornings before 9am and afternoons usually after 3:00pm. I can be available anytime throughout the night and full availability on Saturdays and Sundays. I have one sweet older cat living with me in my one bedroom apartment and she’s just a joy to have around. Due to her timid nature, I am unable to bring other pets into my own home for pet sitting but I offer any other service for your pet such as walking, feeding, playing, giving medicine, you name it :)

About: I’m active, dependable, and genuinely love being around pets of all personalities and energy levels. As an endurance athlete and coach, I’ve built my life around consistency, patience, responsibility, and showing up every single day, and that naturally carries over into the way I care for pets. I understand that every pet is different. Some want nonstop adventure, some just want calm company and a reliable routine. I pay close attention to behavior, energy, and comfort so your pet feels safe, cared for, and at home. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I coach remotely, which gives me a flexible but structured schedule, and I’m already used to planning my day around training sessions, check-ins, and consistent responsibilities. That makes it easy for me to reliably build my day around a pet’s needs rather than the other way around. When I’m house sitting, I’m fully present in the home with your pet, so they get steady care, attention, and routine throughout the day instead of quick drop-ins. I’m typically up early and active, which works well for morning walks, feeding schedules, exercise, or evening down time. My lifestyle is built on consistency and responsibility, I can easily adapt and make sure your pet is cared for without disruption. I treat your home with respect and follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, medications, walks, and any specific routines your pet is used to. I stay attentive throughout the day, checking in regularly and making sure your pet is doing well, while also giving them space to relax naturally in their home environment. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, energy, and any changes that might need to be communicated right away. Because I stay in the home, your pet gets consistent care, company, and structure, which helps reduce stress and keeps their routine stable while you’re away. I also keep the home clean, organized, and respected at all times.
“Emily was fantastic for watching my two cats while I was gone. She made sure that they both were fed, entertained, and had a clean box. She’s been super communicative and has been sending me updates frequently. Would highly recommend booking her to watch your cats :). I know I’ll ask again when I need someone to come in.”

“Linnea did a wonderful job taking care of our cats! She was very responsive and flexible. Our cats were calm and well adjusted when we arrived home.”

“She was absolutely wonderful! We had a booking fall through very last minute and she came to our emergency rescue so quickly! She answered right away, was able to come to the dogs within an hour of us needing her help! Not only was she was super sweet, helpful, respectful, come to our rescue and responsive she treated my dogs with so much kindness! She kept me updated every step and took lots of pictures! She will definitely be our go to for the future. Thank you so much! Definitely put my heart at ease since this was my first watch! 100% recommend!”

About: I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, chickens, goats, and turtles, but I'm open to almost any species. Previously, I have fostered dogs, cats, and rabbits from my local animal shelter. I'm a pretty active person, and love taking dogs for walks. In the past, I have also taken care of pets with special dietary needs. I've been around animals all my life, and would love to help take care of your pets. I live in Boulder, but work remotely, so I currently have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to help take care of your loved ones! Fed and watered animals in care, following special diets and regular medication administration schedules. Emptied litter boxes and cleaned cages, making sure that animals had a clean environment. Socialized and comforted animals while their owners were away. Monitored safety of every animal to prevent injuries from other animals or environmental hazards.
About: Hi, I am Tigran. I started and run a dog rescue in Colorado called Havok's Wolfpack. I help dogs in high kill shelters of neighboring states find great new homes in Colorado. I am currently living in the South East park Boulder. I regularly host foster dogs so my home isn't a dog-free environment when I'm not sitting through Rover. All of my foster dogs are friendly. I run my organisation remotely, so I have ultimate flexibility for dog care, walks and attention. Currently fully available. Will be able to respond within an hour. I explore new hikes and dog walks multiple times a day. Your pup will be extremely happy every time I show up. I travel to clients homes and have no issues handling the biggest and most energetic dogs. Happy to accommodate owners requests when it comes to handling dogs.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 12, but there’s never been a moment in my life where I haven’t owned an animal. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages. From six puppies to two full grown Great Pyrenees’s, I’ve done it all! I also have lots of experience with cats, with people saying I can get the meanest cat to love me. Animals truly hold such a special place in my heart, so I’d be happy to take care of yours! I currently have a freelancing job, which allows me to take care of your pet at any time! I naturally get up early so there’s no need to worry about me arriving late. I have primarily pet sit at others homes, and each time I make sure to familiarize myself with the pets routine to ensure a stress-free visit!
About: I understand the responsibility that comes with taking care of your beloved pet and want to be there to support and love on your dog. I pride myself on my compassion, love, and understanding of all pets and their unique needs. I am a college student that loves to work with animals. I have classes during the day but am available in the early mornings, afternoons and evenings to take care of your pets. I am also available on weekends and for overnight care. I understand the concern that may come with leaving your pet with a stranger and take careful consideration in to making sure that doors are closed behind me, safety hazards are removed from the pets reach, and a high level of attentiveness while on walks.

“Lizz was great with my Harley! She told me when she came over. She sent me pictures while she was here and told me when she was leaving! I so appreciate her spending time with my fur baby when I wasn’t able to! I will definitely use her services again!”
“Rachael is amazing- she is prompt, courteous, communicative, knoweldgable and so sweet with our 11 week old Chocolate Lab. She has taken wonderful care of her, helped her adjust to her crate with lots of extra help that she went out of her way to do. We trust her in our home and would 100% recommend and will use her again. Thank you so much, Rachael :) - Charlie & The Gibbs”

“Thank goodness for Falecia! She made our last minute holiday trip possible by being so flexible and amazing. She was also there for our cats and reassured me when the Marshall fires had me freaking out from out-of-state. I felt so much better knowing that our cats were in good hands. I would definitely ask her to take care of our cats again and recommend her highly.”

“Maja has come over to check on our dogs while we were at work a few times. One of our two is a high energy husky, and one is an older cattle dog mix. She seemed to be very sweet with both of them when we met her! She sent us picture updates during the visits, and made sure they had water, bathroom breaks, and some attention before she left. She seems very kind and trustworthy. We will be booking with her again in the future!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Valmont. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
