About: Hello! I’m a retired Special Education teacher. My passion is dogs and the care and training of dogs. When your furr baby is staying with me, she or he is my priority. I am patient, caring and truly want your furr baby to have a safe, engaging and fun time while in my care. I’d love to take your furr baby for walks and/ or give cuddles; as desired. I first became available on Rover in 2017, first working in California and now in Colorado. I work full-time at home and will give your sweet furr baby all the time, care and exercise he or she needs. I’m currently at home full-time. I have plenty of time for your furr baby Please schedule pickup & drop-off times between 7am - 9:30pm. Thank you. I have two dogs and two cats. One dog is a friendly, small-sized older dog. He is calm and will engage with your furr baby as much as they want. I also have a large breed female dog. She is sweet, curious and well-behaved. I have four available crates if you use crating. The cats have separate areas and mostly stay in their own room during dog boarding.

Maya had great time!! Sara was even willing to be flexible so we can start Maya slowly with half a day, and that was very helpful. After the adjustment time we considered a full day. Since Maya is still growing, she eats 3 times a day, I just prepared Maya’s food (raw based), and Sara fed her.”

As a mostly remote worker, I have a lot of flexibility and ample time to take your dog on walks and give them lots of care and attention, be it on the couch or outside. Doggies have access to water, clean bowls, toiletries, and all their basic needs. My entire place is dog-proofed, so hazard mitigation is present. Dogs have the opportunity of enjoying different surfaces based on their needs, including hardwood, carpet, rugs, and a comfy couch.

Allison and John are great sitters! Very communicative, they clearly care about the animals in their care, and I didn’t worry a second about our nervous dog. They have a great place to host: quiet neighborhood, lovely yard, lots of places for dogs to rest. Mac gets a very special mention- I think he might have been our dog’s most favorite part. Mac’s a great buddy to everyone and he’ll keep your dog company during naps and very engaged during playtime. I’ll definitely be using them again and would recommend them to others!
Christine is a wonderful, thoughtful human and a loving, professional dog person! My two huskies loved their day with her and sweet Hondo. They enjoyed their walk (not always an easy feat but no problem for Christine), the beautiful backyard, and all the understanding and love they received. My one husky has extreme separation anxiety and had absolutely no desire to leave. That says it all!
Kelly is a 10/10 recommendation for anyone in the Boulder area. she was quick to respond. Extremely flexible with drop off and pick up arrangements. She sent me constant updates and truly cared about my animals time. If I’m ever back in Boulder I will be in touch before get to the city so Rick can spend a day with her again!
Felt very comfortable leaving our dog with Sommer the first time because she was so communicative and knowledgeable. He was happy and tired when we picked him up, and then when we brought him back, he was so happy to see her again! She was really sweet to him and took such good care of him.
