About: I have been around dogs for over 20 years. I can connect with them in ways others cannot. I have never had an issue with a dog and people often tell me that dogs love me. I am currently looking to take on as much as I can! I am a runner so if your dog likes going on runs I can take them with me or if they like the slower pace of walking I can do that too. I’m a grad student so when I’m not in class I’m at home My roommate has a dog that stays in his kennel most of the day besides when he is let out and if there is another dog in the house that I am watching over they stay with me in my room and typically never leave my side

About: Very experienced with pets of all types, Have helped many others with dog training and care. I care deeply for animals and am a responsible homeowner and sitter. I am also a part time fitness instructor and so am physically capable of handling multiple pets of all sizes. Besides being a multi-pet owner my entire life I have also fostered many dogs and cats over the years. Also I am very clean and am experienced with pets needing medical care. I volunteer at shelters. I am a part time gig worker that can set my own schedule and will be there for your pets often to monitor and care for them everyday. I provide meals to them multiple times during the day, fresh water daily and clean the cat litter twice daily. Dogs I walk 3 xdaily weather and dogs health permitting. If it is a younger or a incontinent dog I will take them out as needed they are able to go out as needed. Along with basic needs I give lots of love and attention and grooming.
About: I live in a very full and very happy home of five rescue doggos and a cat-that-thinks-she-is-a-dog. Needless to say, I juggle many different personalities, needs, and quirks every day. I feel most fulfilled getting to know animals for who they are and building trust at their own pace. I use positive reinforcement and pay close attention to behavioral cues, especially with dogs who are anxious, fearful, or need a little extra patience. I have hands-on experience managing multi-dog dynamics, including situations with food or fear aggression, so I’m very intentional about following each pet’s specific routine and your instructions. Alongside pet care, I’ve spent nearly two decades teaching dance to all ages, which taught me how to corral a group of strong personalities. The skills translate well: patience, awareness, and keeping structure and calm when things get a little unpredictable. At the end of the day, I treat every animal like a whole little person—just one who might occasionally eat something they absolutely shouldn’t. I keep a flexible schedule and can accommodate a range of routines. I book thoughtfully so I can be fully present, reliable, and consistent for your pets. My approach centers on safety, trust, and a calm, low-stress environment. I follow routines closely, read each pet’s cues, and let them warm up at their own pace so they feel secure and understood—not overwhelmed.
“Jessica dropped in to check on our pups at the times we requested and sent us photos of our pups so we knew they were taken care of and had some playtime. She was communicative and followed all instructions. We’ll use her again for sure!”

“Kieanne’s the best and I can’t recommend her enough! My guy is always happy, healthy, and well loved when I get home. They’re super communicative and leave the cutest Rover report cards!”

“Nicole helped keep my new border collie company for a couple drop in visits while I was away long hours at work. She was communicative and responsive and I know Logan loved it! Thanks Nicole!”

About: Hi there, I’m so glad you found me! I like to take a paws on approach, and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes! I’ve had the pleasure of loving dogs as young as 3 months, and as old as 16 years, and have been a pet parent since I could learn how to hold a leash. I have successfully learned techniques to lovingly teach puppies their basic commands, and have managed medical schedules for my senior companions who need special attention. I currently have a very flexible schedule as I do not work, and will be able to work with you around the weekly appointments I have to maintain, none of which extend past 3 hours in a day. I generally like to meet you and your pup so that you can get to know me and feel more comfortable and confident. I aim for open communication, and would love to know everything about your fur babies so that I can meet all of their needs. I understand each dog has a different comfort level as well, and stay sensitive to their emotional wishes. If they need space or time or a little extra comfort, I make sure to respect their desires and boundaries. The most important thing is that your furry family members are in loving hands that you know and trust! I prefer to know training routines for puppies so that I can continue it even when you’re not around. I am always available in the event of an emergency to help, transportation to their vet included, and request that information be provided before we begin care. Each dog and family is unique, and I am happy to go over activities beforehand, so you have peace of mind. Safety is my number one priority! We want to make sure you are able to come back time and time again!
“Bridgett took excellent care of our furr babies while we were away for a week. This was the longest we have been separated from them and it a great reassurance to have Bridgett care for them. Bridgett was very communicative and observant and spent lots of quality time with our cat and dog. I highly recommend Bridgett for your loved ones.”

“Kristy was wonderful with our 2 boys! While we were at an event, she walked them, gave them a snack and spent a good amount of time snuggling with them. They are both large strong bully breed boys and they did great on the leash for her, showing that she is confident and capable. I told her they liked to snuggle and she went above and beyond to give them affection. You could see in the pictures she sent that they were very happy to be cozied up next to her. She was also great about doing a meet-and-greet and making it very convenient for us. I would hire Kristy again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her!”

“Tonali was a pleasure to work with! We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our two cats were being well taken care of. It was always nice when we would receive pictures of pets to let us know how they were doing. Tonali also watered our plants and brought in packages left at the door. We will definitely be using her again in the future!!”

About: I have owned cats for over 20 years. I currently have 2 cats and adore them. They are good around small dogs and other cats. I have a great setup that includes scratching posts, towers, ledges, hammocks, and even a cat condo. They love spying on birds, squirrels, and other critters on the ledges by the window. I only take one client at a time so will not board other cats during your booking. I'd like to keep it to a two cat max, but if you have more we can discuss it. I am flexible and open minded. Small dogs are also welcome. My cats are good around dogs. They ignore them, just like they ignore me when I tell them to behave :) I have a fresh running water cat fountain and toys and will give your cats all of the TLC they deserve. I know how important it is to know your cats are in good hands and will go out of my way to ensure they are happy. I work full time Monday-Friday 6am-4pm. I do make it home during lunch to let them out for a potty break. I'm off on the weekends. This should not be a problem for cats. Water/litter will be changed/cleaned daily. I feed the cats/dogs twice a day. If you need anything else, I can accommodate whatever your needs are. My cats are family and mean the world to.me! They are loved and treated well. Your sweet pet will be happy here! Looking forward for your furbaby to meet us!

We can’t thank Dana enough. With our son in the hospital, we’ve been juggling a lot, and she stepped in on short notice to care for our dogs. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
