As a self-employed digital marketer with over 10 years of experience, I'm fortunate to have a flexible schedule that I control. Rather than simply taking on more marketing clients, I chose to fill part of my day with something I truly love — spending time with cats. It's a wonderful change of pace from screen time and gives me the chance to be active, playful, and present with animals who need companionship. The flexibility of my work means I can accommodate morning and evening visits when life (or vacation!) happens and pet parents need a hand.

Food is prepared the way they like it, water is freshened, litter is tidied, and special instructions are followed to the letter. I'm attentive to home security — making sure doors are secured and nothing is left unsafe for a curious cat. During my visit, I focus entirely on your pet — engaging them in 10–15 minutes of play, offering gentle pets or brushing for cats who enjoy it, or simply providing a calm, reassuring presence for shy or anxious cats who prefer to observe from a distance. I'm experienced in reading body language and respecting boundaries, so your cat will never feel overwhelmed. Before I leave, I gather toys and tidy up cat's play space — and I send 2–4 photos or videos with an update so you can see how they're doing. With your approval, I also bring treats or a special toy with me on my visits to make our time together extra special. Above all, I treat every cat in my care the way I'd want my own treated — with patience, attentiveness, and love.

Hi, I'm a lifelong cat lover with over 40 years of experience caring for my own cats — plus caring for other people's pets on and off for the past 10+ years. I'm now excited to open my life to more cat families who want someone playful, attentive, and truly dedicated to their pet's happiness. My approach is simple: every cat gets my full attention while I'm there. Whether your kitty is a zoomies-at-3am dynamo or a shy couch companion who needs patience and gentle coaxing, I adapt to what they need most. I'm hands-on and love getting on the floor with a wand toy, making silly sounds, and running around with a playful cat — but I'm equally happy providing a quiet presence for an anxious or elderly cat who just wants company and a few head scratches. I currently share my home with two Bengals: Winston, a special needs boy who requires extra TLC and close attention, and Artemis, who I lovingly call "spicy" — she's not big on being touched and can startle easily. Living with them has made me especially skilled at reading body language, respecting boundaries, and building trust with cats who need time to warm up. What sets me apart: - Tailored attention: I know that different breeds and personalities need different things — some cats need 10–15 minutes of vigorous play, others need a slow brush and a calm lap to sit near. I adjust accordingly. - Friendly updates: After every visit, I send 2–4 photos or videos along with a written update — because as a pet parent myself, I know how much it means to see your fur baby happy and cared for. - Leave-it-better care: Food served the way they like it, fresh water, toys gathered and ready for the next round of play, litter tidy — I leave cat's space AND your cat in great shape. - Bonus goodies: With your approval, I bring treats and a wand toy so we can have quality one-on-one play time during every visit. Above all, my goal is simple: to make sure your cat never feels alone while you're away, and knows they are loved.

Colleen was not only our neighbor and dear friend, she also looked after our two dogs and home whenever we needed them looked after. Our dogs absolutely LOVED her and so did we haha! She is incredibly detail oriented, thoughtful, loving and thoroughly enjoys taking care of any and all pets.
