“Dani is so great with Jade! She took the time to ask me about Jade's needs and is so professional and caring. She has a lot of experience with dogs so I had no concerns having her walk my dog, who can pull sometimes. Great communication too!”

“Claire did an outstanding job taking care of Mochi for two days in a row. She was incredibly professional, responsible, and attentive throughout the entire time. She kept me updated regularly, followed all instructions carefully, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Mochi and made sure he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I would absolutely trust Claire with Mochi again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“Janelle was amazing, from her communication to her check ins, we absolutely loved her!! Janelle was always patient and caring, and took the time to get to know my pups. We have a Mini Aussie named Millie who isn’t the most open pup to strangers but she opened right up. Honestly blew my mind, I’ve never seen her be so comfortable so fast. Highly recommend!!! 10/10 will be using her again!”

“Matthew always spends quality time playing with Monte. I always feel better knowing my dog is in good hands. I especially appreciate the photo updates, they give my husband and me peace of mind and make us smile. I always feel more relaxed knowing my dog is being so well cared for, and will definitely book with Matthew again!”

“Bridgett took excellent care of our furr babies while we were away for a week. This was the longest we have been separated from them and it a great reassurance to have Bridgett care for them. Bridgett was very communicative and observant and spent lots of quality time with our cat and dog. I highly recommend Bridgett for your loved ones.”

“Nicole helped keep my new border collie company for a couple drop in visits while I was away long hours at work. She was communicative and responsive and I know Logan loved it! Thanks Nicole!”

“Tara was wonderful with our 11 week old puppy during daytime drop in visits. She’s a great communicator and sent very detailed updates/pictures. We could tell our puppy was well taken care of when we got home. We look forward to having her sit for us again!”

About: I grew up on a farm where we had all kinds of animals including many dogs and cats that I adored. Specifically, we had a couple of German Shepherd dogs that required daily activity. I also went to school and graduated with a degree in Animal Science which focuses on Animal Husbandry. I have experience with basic obedience training along with administering medications to all types of animals. I have a full time job that allows me to work remotely a couple days during the week so I can do drop ins during the day if needed. My weekends are generally available to do overnights. I would be happy to accomodate any schedule needs you might have. I will be able to pick up on and monitor your pets behavior to ensure their safety. I am able to create a structured but friendly environment for those pets that need it.
“Zach and Ellie did an amazing job taking care of my cats. One of my cats has a medical condition so they gave him his daily meds. They fed the cats, cleaned the cat litter and all the accidents that my sick cat unfortunately has, played with them and gave them lots of affection. I got daily reports and lots of pictures.”

“Kristy was wonderful with our 2 boys! While we were at an event, she walked them, gave them a snack and spent a good amount of time snuggling with them. They are both large strong bully breed boys and they did great on the leash for her, showing that she is confident and capable. I told her they liked to snuggle and she went above and beyond to give them affection. You could see in the pictures she sent that they were very happy to be cozied up next to her. She was also great about doing a meet-and-greet and making it very convenient for us. I would hire Kristy again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her!”

About: Welcome to our chaotic but always exciting zoo! My husband Jeremy and I love animals, and always had them growing up. We have had dogs, cats, ferrets, hamsters, fish and taken care of many others. Currently we have two dogs: Booker and Ahri, two cats: Tinkerbell, and Toulouse, and a ferret Luna. I have experience fostering young kittens for the ASPCA, and we both have experience administering oral and injectable medications. Two of our pets are special needs, so we understand the importance of timely administering meds! We would love to care for your pets while you're away ✨🖤 Jeremy works remotely, and is available on weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends. Sierra works partially remote, and is available weekday mornings/early afternoons and weekends. We spend our evenings unwinding with our furry friends: playing, walking, going to the dog park. We would love to add your friend into our rotation and help them relax while you're away! We currently live in a two story house with a private fenced yard. We are open to do doggy day care/boarding, but we would need to discuss how well your pups do around cats and other dogs! We can easily crate your pup, or keep them separated if requested. We are both tidy and considerate people who will respect your living space and your animal companions. We know the importance of quality pet care, and would love to help provide that service to others!
“Tonali was a pleasure to work with! We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our two cats were being well taken care of. It was always nice when we would receive pictures of pets to let us know how they were doing. Tonali also watered our plants and brought in packages left at the door. We will definitely be using her again in the future!!”

About: I grew up taking care of a variety of animals, including dogs and cats, and have recently raised a pup from 8 weeks to now nearly 4 years old! I've also lived with another dog for nearly 8 years who is now a senior and requires slightly different care. I understand that each pet can have unique traits and may need unique care, and I'm ready to give yours the care that they need and deserve! I'm currently working remote and attending school online part-time. This gives me a lot of freedom to cater to the needs of you and your pets, with availability any day of the week. My dog is very rambunctious and needs a lot of play, so I take her out to the fenced in backyard to play fetch multiple times and day and walk her to a nearby park if she's even more restless. There are plenty of dog beds spread throughout the house for napping and comfort, though she also has access to furniture to lay on too

Along with caring for my own pets, I’ve also pet sat for friends, family, and neighbors, including overnight stays, walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I’m also happy to care for cats! I’ve cat sat before and am comfortable with feeding, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, and giving them attention while respecting each cat’s unique personality. I’m home from law school for the summer, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the care they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your pet loves long walks, chasing toys, or just relaxing with a familiar routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Schedule I’m home from law school for the summer, so I have a flexible schedule. I work three days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break, which allows me to check in on pets during the day if needed. Outside of those hours, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care, and I do my best to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. Safety, Trust & Environment I provide care in my clients’ homes so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, and any other care requests. I treat every home with respect and every pet like they’re my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
