About: I live in a very full and very happy home of five rescue doggos and a cat-that-thinks-she-is-a-dog. Needless to say, I juggle many different personalities, needs, and quirks every day. I feel most fulfilled getting to know animals for who they are and building trust at their own pace. I use positive reinforcement and pay close attention to behavioral cues, especially with dogs who are anxious, fearful, or need a little extra patience. I have hands-on experience managing multi-dog dynamics, including situations with food or fear aggression, so I’m very intentional about following each pet’s specific routine and your instructions. Alongside pet care, I’ve spent nearly two decades teaching dance to all ages, which taught me how to corral a group of strong personalities. The skills translate well: patience, awareness, and keeping structure and calm when things get a little unpredictable. At the end of the day, I treat every animal like a whole little person—just one who might occasionally eat something they absolutely shouldn’t. I keep a flexible schedule and can accommodate a range of routines. I book thoughtfully so I can be fully present, reliable, and consistent for your pets. I have one senior cat I rescued that sleeps all day in his cat tree, I will gladly separate him from your pet in the event that they aren’t comfortable with cats! I’m well adjusted to all personalities of pets, the crazy ones, and the lazy ones! I also allow cameras to be placed in all areas where your pet will be to ensure you that they are safe.

I cater to you I work Mon-Fri, but do come home at lunch for an hour if I’m boarding at my house. If caring for a pet in my own home, I ensure safe introduction of pets (in a neutral environment). I also ensure they have their own space. Pets would not be left unsupervised while care is being provided.

About: I moved to Johnstown Farms last February and have absolutely fallen in love with the community here. I bring many years of experience caring for both cats and dogs—including my own—so I understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pets while you’re away. My two cats, Tigerlily (13) and Tanner (10), are a big part of my life and have been with me since they were young. Tigerlily was rescued from a college parking lot and is a total princess who loves sunbathing and will absolutely let you know when she wants treats or the blinds opened so she can soak up the sun. Tanner is my “foster fail,” adopted after I took in her and her siblings from a difficult situation involving stray cats being poisoned in the neighborhood. She is very playful and rambunctious, but also one of the best cuddle buddies. I grew up with dogs and still have a beloved family dog who lives with my parents. I’m very active and enjoy taking dogs on long walks and making sure they get both exercise and enrichment. I also have experience with feral and unsocialized cats, so I’m comfortable working with a wide range of temperaments, routines, and needs. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate midday check-ins and sometimes last-minute bookings. I’m always happy to tailor my visits to your pet’s personality and routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Not only do I work from home so my schedule is quite flexible but I am also a morning person, so my day starts at 6am in the morning and typically includes 2 miles walk that I would be happy to share with a pup. I think its important not to leave pets unattended while playing in the yard (dogs) or to make sure they are supervised when playing with certain toys (cats).

About: I have always been around animals, never in my life have I not had a dog. Growing up I volunteered at the local animal shelter walking, training and taking care of the animals there. Once I got my own car I started sitting for friends and family. As a massage therapist I took animal massage courses in school, I am very comfortable handling animals. I love being outdoors and active, I am very excited about being a dog walker. In my home we are very relaxed, allowing our pets lots of room and freedoms to play inside and outside in the fenced yard as well as lounge on the couches and pet beds. We don't use crates or keep animals separated unless instructed by their people, we like for the dogs to be together and play with eachother! That being said, we do have spare rooms for pets that have social anxieties. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to care for your pups! When I work I am home by noon to give potty breaks and lots of love and attention! My back yard is a nice fenced yard for safe play time and potty breaks. I have 2 dogs to keep your furbaby company during their stay. Crates are available if preferred for alone time or night time.

Since caring for my own pets is already a part of my daily routine, providing reliable and consistent care for other pets fits very naturally into my schedule. I care for every pet based on their individual needs and routine. I am used to managing multiple pets with different personalities, feeding schedules, diets, and energy levels. Safety, consistency and comfort are always my priority. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, fresh food & water, meds if needed, and love! I am happy to follow specific instructions closely. I am also open to pet sitting in my home for animals who are dog, cat and kid friendly.
