About: I have been a dog mom for 2 of my own and have fostered dozens of large dogs, sick or healthy, many from kill lists that I help to heal. It's not just physical, but mental healing and manners, inside the home or out in public. All my fosters have gone on to be adopted by loving families! I primarily do boarding, and can walk your dog (s), keep your dog in my home where I have a huge fenced yard. House sitting, drop ins and walks are good if you live close to my place. I am mostly retired. I’m allergic to cats, so no house sitting your dogs if there is a cat present. My experience with foster dogs has taught me how to easily handle dogs with positive re-enforcement. I don't demand that your dog(s) submit to me. I give praise every time I catch them doing well. I train house manners when in my home to eliminate counter surfing, attempts to push through a door first and they get to practice their obedience commands. Lots of walks and a prolific amount of play engage their minds allowing them to work mentally and physically to become a happier pet. I believe all dogs are good dogs, it's the people that need to bring out the best in them. Your dog(s) will be happy! I appreciate the generosity of happy pet owners and all cash tips support my dog foster efforts :). Thanks!
“Kylee is great! She is very communicative and always on time. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to letting someone else take care of my dogs, but I trust Kylee and will continue to book with her.”

About: I've taken care of animals my whole life. I even have a special bond with animals because I understand them and get a long with them better than people. My friends and family have always relied on me to take care of their animals because they know that they will be good hands. I am currently not working so I have a lot of flexibility during the day. I also have a 7 year old son so when school gets out, I do have to pick him up from school. I have 2 cats who are free to roam around the house. I currently do not have any dogs but only because I have a low fence.
“Anna was fantastic. She came to watch my dog and cat while I was away for 4 days. She was amazing with sending detailed visit cards and sending tons of pics of my boys! Definitely want to hire her again!”

“Julia went above and beyond to help my small dog feel comfortable while we were away for the weekend. I appreciate that she kept in contact and even sent us lots of photos. Thanks so much, Julia. I strongly recommend!”

About: I have owned pure-bred, rescues, fosters, disabled, and re-homed pets throughout my life (mostly large 40+lbs., but small as well.) I've provided training from puppy age into late-life comfort care. I also have a masters degree in behavior analysis and reinforcement training. I work from home as a part-time artist, so I'm around most the day as well as my dad. There is also a doggy door from outside into the garage (but not into the house). I trained Kizzy to push a button that says "outside" so I let her out as needed throughout the day and when one goes out, the rest tend to follow so plenty of potty breaks! I try to allocate ~5min to each pup for 1:1 lovings and belly rubs at some point in the day! Kizzy has a very flexible eating schedule and I am happy to accommodate feeding as needed for your pup. (Let me know about food aggression!) I tend to walk pups late in the evening when there's less distraction, less noise, and cooler, but we DO stop and smell the roses... and grass... and benches...and fire hydrants....etc. no rush here! Also, everyone gets a LED glow collar because safety first! Safety is a priority! Behavior Analysis is my field of expertise, which is primarily the use of reinforcement procedures to change behavior (mostly for individuals with autism!) This means I do NOT implement punishment procedures but rather "ignore" the undesired behavior, so rest assured no punishment for potty accidents or unbearably tempting trash bins :) LED glow collars for nighttime walking. Can feed separately or together depending on your pup's needs! Will supervise feeding, especially initially! Also happy to accommodate medication administration if needed. I have a very social 6 year old boxer mix named Kizzy who is active, tolerant, great with sharing and loves new friends! I have a 4ft fenced in yard, which backs up to a walking path with other dogs often walking by (so let me know about reactivity issues!) I prefer to have your babies here in my home as it allows me to work from home. I have multiple dog beds, a basket of toys, an extra large crate if needed, I keep water filled, yummy organic treats. I have lots of walking paths in me neighborhood, a nearby dog park, and kizzy loves swimming in the river so water-loving dogs are welcome! I have cared for higher-needs pets including geriatric, blind, deaf, and even one which was paralyzed and used a wheelchair! I am very comfortable with administering meds, the "cone of shame", assisting with mobility up/down stairs, etc. However, I am also available to stop by your home for potty breaks/medications/water refill/etc. and am available to pick the pups up myself depending on time of day! I am very flexible, just let me know what ya need!
“Keandra did a wonderful job taking care of our three cats, one of whom needs special medicine. They took to her right away (even our shy boy came out from under the bed). Keandra is delightful, reliable and obviously has a strong affinity for animals. We've already booked our next appointment with her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for the best care for their pets!”

“Mark is a warm and wonderful person and we are thrilled to have had him care for our 2 fur babies. Very attentive, caring and professional, I can’t recommend him enough! Communication was a breeze and we loved all of the photos. Thank you Mark!”

“Amber goes above and beyond, and I can depend on her to be there when I need her. She is very knowledgeable and has a lot of expertise with dogs and went above and beyond and gave me great value today when she bathed both of my dogs. One of them is a puppy and quite the shyster. She is a golden doodle and I know they are not easy to keep groomed. Thanks, Amber and I will see you next time!”

“Nicole helped keep my new border collie company for a couple drop in visits while I was away long hours at work. She was communicative and responsive and I know Logan loved it! Thanks Nicole!”

Liz was awesome from the get-go. Very responsive, friendly, kind, and professional! I felt comfortable with her and so did my dog when we did a meet and greet. I was happy he was in good hands for a check in and happy to hear he did so well for her. It gave my boyfriend and I peace of mind while we were away. Thank you again Liz! I would be happy to book with her again for future check-ins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
