“Hands down the best out there. I've got two dogs, both rescues one older and the other younger. The older one likes to stop eating when I leave for an extended period of time and the younger reverts to her street dog ways which can leave many sitters with challenges that worry me. Kassi went above and beyond with her handling the issues so well my nerves settled on day one and I could just enjoy my vacation knowing the most precious things in my life were safe.”

About: I have been boarding and walking dogs through Rover for years now. I live on my own with my 9 year old male lab mix. We love walking, hiking, snoozing on the couch, and hanging out in the backyard. I have gone through dog training courses and have experience handling various breeds and sizes. I'd love for your dog to spend the day with me and my Beau dog! I am working full time (hybrid remote - so I leave for a few hours at a time once or twice a day during the work week). A typical day for me is walking Beau for 20-30min in the morning and then I leave late morning for an hour or so and come back to spend the afternoon at the house where I spend time in my backyard. I wall Beau again for about 20-30 minutes before dinner and then give him another potty break before bedtime. On the weekends, I like to take Beau on a longer leashed walk at Rivers Edge or some lake path. We call Beau, “the therapy dog for dogs." He has yet to meet a dog he doesn't get along with. He's independent and likes to hunt bunnies and go for walks. I have an awesome 2 mile paved walk outside my house that is away from major roads, follows a creek, and ends at an open space park.
About: With a lifetime of experience caring for animals and a deep connection to dogs, I bring unmatched dedication to every pet I look after. My volunteer work with a rescue center and continued care for my former foster dogs ensure that your furry friend is in loving, experienced hands. As a true dog person, I understand their needs and provide the personalized care they deserve. Pet care is seamlessly woven into my daily and weekly routine. With a flexible job that welcomes well-behaved furry friends at work, I spend most of my time with the pets in my care, ensuring they receive the attention, love and companionship they need. Whether at work or home, your pets are always a top priority in my life. In my care, your pets and home are treated with the utmost respect and attention. I understand that pets are creatures of habit, so I strive to maintain their routines as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and happy. I care for your pets and your home just as I would my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for while you're away.

“We loved working with Dee! Dee watched our senior kitty on short notice, was super communicative and made us feel right at ease while we were away! We are so grateful and look forward to working together again. Thanks so much, Dee!”

“Elizabeth was amazing working with me last minute to help me out with our 2.5 high energy shepherd/husky mix. Walked her and provided her with treats. 10/10 recommend. Life saver so last minute.”

About: In college, I worked at a vet hospital in the boarding section of the building. I administered medications, as well as played with the dogs and looked over the cats while they were boarding with us. I’ve pet sat for many friends, family and coworkers over the years. I’m also currently raising a poodle puppy of my own. I’m on maternity leave through mid July. I’ll be very available to check in on your pet through that time. In July, I’ll be available Tuesdays, Fridays, and the weekends. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly male poodle if you pet stays with me. I can also take your dogs on walks, cuddle on the couch, play fetch, or whatever they need!
“Amy has been so great with our dog - he loves her! Amy has always communicated clearly with me regarding scheduling and how our dog was doing. She has always been more than willing to pick up last-minute check-ins for our dog when my schedule changed. I knew I could rely on her in a pinch. I would highly recommend her to those on Rover looking for a reliable dog sitter.”

About: I take a lot of pride in my career with animals. I am 20 years old with 3 animals of my own! I love them so much and so blessed to be in the position to rescue them. I have 3 years of dog training experience. As well as behavioral modification. And I can point out all behavioral signs of aggression and how to handle that with caution and confidence in a safe manner. Also for the past three years, I have been working in various doggy daycare and working as a kennel tech While learning how to train dogs, Soon I will be Joining a rescue. I care very much about these babies and I hope you can see that too. I love them wholeheartedly And want nothing but the best for all❤️ as a professional dog trainer and run my own business so I do not have a set schedule. But if I’m working more than five hours I take dogs with me with the approval of the owners. And I am very responsible and diligent with my calendar. In my home, I make sure that all of my animals have their each individual spot They all eat fresh diet, as well as some kibble. Lots Of treats are given. And my babies go with me on car rides and work. 2-3hour a day all animals take a nap time in their crates, while I am up moving in the house. This helps them regulate their emotions and learn to settle in their spot. All dogs in my house get 8-12hours a day outside and out of their kennels.
“Evalyn communicated at every step of the way and took amazing care of our husky. Ginkgo was so excited to see her and had the best time! I would highly recommend Evalyn if you’re looking for a sitter who is experienced, reliable and asks great questions. We will definitely be booking again in the future :)”

About: I've owned dogs from a very young age, from energetic dogs to lap dogs. In more recent years, I have taken on watching family and friends' pets. I've even been referred to others should they need a pet sitter. Over the past 5 years, I've been a regular dog sitter to a family friend with 4 dogs: 2 Chihuahuas, 1 French Bulldog and a very big and friendly Cane Corso. I'm comfortable and versatile with all types of dogs and have taken care of Doodles from time to time. I have experience in basic training and walking dogs, and currently have a handsome white Lab-mix puppy of my own. I'm interested in growing my experience and knowledge in pet care. And yes, I am that person that goes straight to the pets too at a social gathering. I currently work with Adams 12 School District in Westminster, CO as a paraprofessional, and often times throughout the year, I end up getting quite a few days off, including summers. Not only do I need my second job, but when hours are low there, I often have to find side jobs to supplement some income. I also work split shifts during the school year which gives me a block of a few hours during the late morning to spend however I choose, so why not spend it making some extra cash and meeting cute pets!? I am definitely open to caring for a pet in my home and have done so several times before. I have a large fenced in back yard and plenty of space. We also have a wonderful park down the street (Benson Sculpture Park) that's perfect for dog walks. At the beginning of this year, my fiance and I got Koda our Lab-mix. We've been working very diligently for the last 8 months training and socializing him with people and dogs. He does very well with both and just loves to play. I'm very open to caring at a client's house, and I assure you all instructions will be followed and your pet comfortable and happy.

“Allison was amazing with our puppy! She came for a meet and greet and asked all of the right questions concerning our dogs daily routine and health. We will definitely have her over again soon to help with dog sitting. ?”

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
