“Thankful for Carrine. She has been so good with our dogs. We love the pics she sends each time she comes to watch our dogs and the activities that they both do. We know they are being treated well!”

“Catie was fantastic to have watching our two kittens while we were out of town for a long weekend. She met with us beforehand to meet the cats and get a clear sense of what we needed, and her updates while we were gone were perfect. Well certainly have her watch the cats next time.”

About: I have had pets my entire life and have also pet sit for friends in my hometown. I have a deep love for animals, and I spent my summer volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation center! I am a full time student at CSU. I have classes Monday-Friday, but they tend to be spread out and I have time to feed or let out animals as needed. My classes end pretty early so I am free to stay at the house/apartment with pets in the evenings. I am not able to bring any animals into my residence hall, but I am more than happy to hang out with them in the owner’s home or to go on walks!
About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, from playful puppies to sweet seniors, and I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. My own dog recently passed, and caring for your pup will help heal my heart while giving you peace of mind. I have experience administering insulin injections, oral medications, ear medications, and prescription dog washes, and I’m quick to learn any additional care your pet needs. I believe every dog is unique, deserving patient, personalized care to feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m a student at Colorado State University and have flexible hours throughout the week around my classes. I can provide walks, playtime, feeding, and medication, ensuring your pet feels comfortable and loved while you’re away. I provide care in your home, ensuring your dog is well taken care of while building trust through consistent, attentive care. I do need to leave throughout the day to attend classes, errands, etc so I prefer dogs who can be left alone for up to 4-5 hours at a time. You can feel confident knowing your pet is safe, loved, and relaxed, enjoying their days even when you can’t be there.
“Outstanding pet sitter. I have an incredibly timid cat and Taylor was able to coax her out for cuddles. He even managed to give her some medication while I was gone. Great communication and pictures of my baby! Above and beyond!”

“Julianne provided drop-in visits for my cat, Matcha, while I was away. She was extremely communicative, reliable, friendly, and thorough with her care. I highly recommend booking with her.”

“Sophia is a absolutely everything I expect from a pet sitter. Thanks to her diligence, attentiveness, and quick communication, I was able to travel without worrying about my cat Nalo for even a minute. I highly recommend Sophia for anyone looking for a pet sitter they can trust.”

“Ashley took great care of our older kitty with medication needs! She went above and beyond by cleaning up after he vomited and taking care of our plants. Highly recommend.”

“Marissa was very attentive to our kitties while we were away. They both require medication and she administered with no problems! Would highly recommend her for future bookings.”

About: Caring for animals is in my roots! For as long as I can remember, my family has always been very passionate about animals. We’ve always rescued, whether it be an elderly dog, or a kitten born from a feral mother. And when our home finally reaches “animal capacity,” I love to continue to extend my loving hand to animals in need. I have much experience working with the Solano County Friends of Animals as well as Cal Maritime Academy’s Cat Club. Above all, I can highlight the CMA Cat Club as my favorite and most valuable volunteer experience. The school's colony of feral cats needed help during the COVID-19 pandemic, so I took on the responsibility of weekly check-ins alongside other volunteers where we would make sure cats were well fed, healthy, and captured to be fixed if needed. The greatest part of my experience working with the Cat Club was rescuing 4 sick kittens from the campus in Summer 2021 and nursing them back to health. While my family intended on finding each kitten a home, we ended up keeping every single one and they lived a life full of happiness with us ever since. I’m currently a student at CSU looking to fill some of my time between classes with what I love to do most— caring for animals! Leaving my home- where I was always surrounded by animals- was quite the ‘culture shock’ you could say. I am completely deprived of fur baby affection! I am mainly open Fridays before 2 pm, Saturdays and Sundays, but I can also work with late mornings/early afternoons and after 3 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. Hi baby!- - The most important thing to begin a drop-in visit with is a warm welcome to your animal. I always want to make sure your cat or dog is accustomed to me as soon as possible. The next step of our visit will probably include going outside for potty time (unless you have an indoor cat, then their box will instead be checked and cleaned!) Next if it is on our schedule, is meal time. Meal time may also include oral medication if your animal is required to have it. After the necessities are taken care of, it’s play time! Typically, I make a plan for each animal’s specific drop-in visit. My visit should be tailored specifically for that animal(s). So, my visit may include a walk, fetch in the backyard, kitty playtime, or just some cuddles. It all depends on the animal’s needs and personality.
“Sienna did a great job with my two cats and two dogs. One of my dogs, who is a senior, requires a lot of care and sienna did great with this. I felt totally comfortable leaving her in charge of the animals and will definitely use her again!!”
About: I am a mother of two twin dogs that are my life! I will always care for your pets as I would my own and provide respectful and exceptional services as requested. I currently am available mornings, evenings, and weekends to spend time with your kiddos! I am happy to enjoy snuggles, pets, walks and outside time! I can follow all instructions, am comfortable with meds or specific foods, and provide responsible service and give your pet lots of love and attention!
About: For more than 15 years, I've been the person friends call when they need someone they completely trust with their pets and their home. I've cared for dogs and cats for everything from daily walks and check-ins to several-week stays, and I genuinely love getting to know each animal's unique personality. I naturally build trust with animals and have found that even more anxious, reactive, or shy pets often settle quickly with me. I've cared for dogs with social anxiety, leash reactivity, and strong personalities, and I enjoy helping them feel safe, confident, and understood. I'm also comfortable with puppies and reinforcing basic training and routines while you're away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or simply sticking to their familiar routine, my goal is always the same: to make them feel safe, loved, and cared for so you can have complete peace of mind while you're away. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting throughout the week. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy getting outside, staying active, and spending time with animals. When I'm caring for a pet, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. Whether that's regular walks, playtime, feeding schedules, medication, or simply quiet companionship, I enjoy giving each pet the attention and care they need to feel comfortable while their family is away. Clear communication is also important to me, so I'll always keep you updated with photos and messages to let you know how your pet is doing. I currently offer care in my clients' homes, where pets can stay in the environment they know and love. I find that keeping their routine as consistent as possible helps them feel safe and relaxed while you're away. I take the time to get to know each pet's personality, energy level, and preferences. Some love long walks and lots of play, while others are happiest with quiet companionship and sticking to their routine. I enjoy meeting them where they are and giving them the care they need rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I'll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, exercise, potty breaks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of affection if they want it. I'll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in good hands. At this time, I am not able to provide boarding in my own home, so all of my services take place in my clients' homes.
“Anthony did a great job taking care of my dog (75lbs) and cat via drop in visits while I was away for a long weekend. My dog looked like he had a great time from the pictures that were sent. Would hire again!”

“We had a great experience with Chloe! She took care of our two cats and made the whole process easy and stress-free. She was communicative and proactive, sending regular updates and photos so we always knew how things were going. We felt totally at ease knowing our cats were in good hands and would definitely trust her again in the future. Highly recommend!”

Haley is the best! So lucky and grateful to have found her — my dog, who can be a bit wary of new people, especially when they’re letting themselves in the house, absolutely adores her and gets so excited when Haley comes by for walks. She is super timely, responsive, and treats my dog with so much care. Thank you Haley!

Meghan was absolutely wonderful watching our dog, Lennie. She kept us updated with sweet pictures of him getting lots of love and attention. She was also incredibly attentive to his needs, making sure he felt comfortable when he got a little nervous. This was one of our first trips without him, and knowing he was in such good hands completely put our minds at ease. We highly recommend her!

Shae was absolutely amazing. We were in the middle of our vacation on Brazil when we found out our current sitter had to attend to a family emergency and we needed a last minute back up. She helped out with no problems and did everything we needed to cover the last day before we got back. She also took great pictures of our girls. Would hire again.

I have two anxious dogs with very different needs who require extra time, medication, and support, so finding pet care is usually really stressful for me. Alessia has such a calm energy that both of my dogs took to her immediately. After just one meet-and-greet, they were already thrilled to see her for the second visit! I feel so comfortable and relieved having found her profile. She is also so responsive and easy to work through logistics with. Thank you Alessia!

Rebecca did an amazing job taking care of our two dogs! She left detailed updates with lots of photos. She was prompt in her responses and completed a last-minute meet-up to meet the dogs before our trip. We really appreciated her help! The dogs were very content when we arrived home.

Lillian is such an amazing pet sitter and we are so happy to have found her! She is so kind and thoughtful and wonderful to talk to. Lillian listens to all of our concerns and goes above and beyond our expectations for taking care of our fur babies. When a heat wave happened, instead of only doing the basics for our chickens, she also bought them fresh fruits and veggies to help them beat the heat! Our dogs, cat, chickens, and fish are always so happy and healthy after Lillian has taken care of them! Highly recommend! Thank you so much Lillian!
We adore Jade. She makes sure our baby girl is happy and safe, allowing us to enjoy our time away. Jade is always reliable, aligns to any suggestions I’ve left and is intuitive about Sparrow’s needs, and takes amazing care of our home. She is literally the best!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
