“Tessa is by far the best dog sitter we have ever had. She is pleasant prompt and honest. She loves animals and loves large dogs such as ours. Our pup warmed up immediately to her showing almost instantly that he liked her and felt very comfortable with her. She was true to her word on all care she provided for our dog and went above and beyond in her attentiveness and care with him and to us. She played with him walked him and provided for his needs as she had committed to doing texts to us were pleasant and positive.”

About: Although I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’ve been caring for them since I was 10 years old. Growing up with dogs taught me the importance of routine, patience, and understanding each pup’s unique personality. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, from playful puppies to senior dogs needing extra care. My lifelong love for dogs drives me to provide reliable, attentive, and loving care as if they were my own. I am currently a full time student at CSU so during the week it will be a little bit of in and out while I am in classes. For the most part, I can stop in 2-3 times a day around my schedule and overnights are no problem for me! When caring for pets in your home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I’ll follow your instructions closely, whether it’s feeding schedules, walk times, medication, or playtime preferences. I always treat your home with respect and make sure it stays clean and secure while you’re away. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their own space, so I provide calm, attentive care to help them feel safe and loved until you return. From snuggles on the couch to solo playtime or quiet companionship, I adjust to your pet’s needs and personality.

I’m available and would love to help out I prefer to watch animals at their homes where they are most comfortable! We want to make sure they get the care they need in their own home
“Taylor was THE best cat sitter! I had never left my cat for 10 days so I was incredibly anxious about it (I’m a worrier, I know), but Taylor instantly made me feel relieved. He sent updates, pictures and videos of my cat. She is a picky/demanding cat, so it made me incredibly pleased that they got along and bonded just fine! Taylor let me know everything I needed to know about my cat sprinkles, how she was doing, acting and eating, he emptied the litter box, changed her water and food, and gave her lots of pets! Great communication, great pics and videos of my cat, the best experience all around. I would 100% recommend Taylor if you’re looking for a pet sitter of any kind!”

I have lots of experience taking care of dogs, whether my own, dog walking, or pet sitting for other families. I am currently a student at CSU, but only have a few classes each day and can definitely work around my classes to take care of your pet. Just lmk and I’m sure we can figure something out! I will always make sure your dog/cat is well cared for, has a good time, and gets lots of enrichment and lots of energy out. About: I have taken care of many animals in my life. From cats and dogs, all the way to being able to work on horses, cattle, and even small animals. I currently work in a vet clinic. I do work 12 hours days some days of the week, but love taking care of all pets. So if your pet needs specific meds you can count on me to give them properly and on time! I enjoy being to love on pets inside and outside the clinic! I am in school full time. But I only have half days so I can take your kids out in the morning and I’m back by 1. And I do work a full day Tuesday. Since I am in an apartment building I don’t have a yard, but I will gladly take your kids on a walk through old town or to the close parks.
About: I grew up always having cats in my home and sitting for neighborhood dogs! I have taken care of a variety of pets such as fish, tortoises, snakes, birds, dogs, and cats! Some of those animals have needed special care such as anxious dogs getting meds, paralyzed cats needing diaper changes, and fish that need water treatment! I pride myself in my responsible and earnest nature! I believe in maintaining pet parents expectations and following instructions correctly. I have experience in high acuity mental health services so I have intensive knowledge in navigating emergencies so I can provide ease to any pet parent! I currently work a 8-5 job so I available before or after my full time job. I am open to services on weekends with notice! It can be hard to trust sitters to spend enough time in your home so I try to spend every minute possible I can with your pet and send updates every few hours! While house sitting, I know animals can be mischievous so maintaining supervision is key! Routine is soooo important for anyone, including your pets so sticking to existing routines is a top priority. A home is a safe space so I do everything I can to respect that space for all parties involved :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Fort Collins with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
