“My dogs have been waiting for their play time everyday around noon since we’ve been home. They were comfortable with Wendy from the moment they met her. She had great communication and was there when she said she would be!”
“Carinne did a great job visiting with my dogs. She left Rover cards every visit letting us see she was there. She is very communicative and checked I with me before I got a chance to reach out to her to confirm. She is a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter. We will definitely use her again!”

About: I have no doubt that dogs are a human's best friend - and I love them for that! Growing up, my family had a very sweet Staffordshire Bull Terrier who we raised from birth, and everyone knew she was basically my dog because I loved her so much. Friends and acquaintances have relied on me to exercise and care for their animals when they are away for many years. I took care of a high-energy Vizla in Santa Barbara, CA, who woke up early and required a lot of exercise on the beach. I am currently walking and caring for a little, mixed breed older guy with some abandonment issues (in Fort Collins), and my partner also has an older, female German Shepherd in Cheyenne that I adore. I am very responsible and detail-oriented, so you can feel very comfortable that your pets will get their medications and exercise while you are away, and that your home will be left in good hands. I enjoy walking, especially in parks and natural areas, and getting exercise together with a dog is much more enjoyable and entertaining than walking alone. I also have a car (Subaru) and am able to transport your pet in the back as needed. I recently completed an MBA degree at Colorado State University focused on corporate sustainability, and for the next few months I am training for my financial advising certifications. I can study almost anywhere, which enables me to be present for your pets. I live in Fort Collins, but drive to Cheyenne regularly and also enjoy visiting neighborhoods further south and closer to Denver. My background is in environmental science, and I worked as a middle school science teacher for 7 years. In a client's home, I pay close attention to the care instructions left for me and maintain a schedule as close as possible to that of the owner so that your pet feels as comfortable as possible. Depending on the client's preferences, I communicate regularly with pictures and messages regarding how your pet is doing on a daily basis...but I am also happy to only reach out if there is an issue, enabling you to relax and disconnect from daily life. I am mindful of maintaining a good relationship between your pet and community while you are away by picking up all of your pet's poo while walking and helping to limit barking noise if possible. I prefer to meet your pet while you are still home so that they can get to know me and grow comfortable with me. Ideally I would love to build longer-term relationships with my clients and their pets, but a one-time assignment is also great.

About: I have been dog, cat, and even plant sitting since I was 14. I have over 500 hours of experience working as a veterinary assistant at small animal and exotic animal clinics! I’ve had 12 pets over the years and I currently live just with my cat meatloaf! I am currently job hunting, so I am free all day right now (other than visiting my own cat at home). I am happy to walk/ cycle to take care of your animal! I prioritize building a friendship with your pets, as I believe it helps me to provide the best level of care and trust. I am more than happy to play and/ or give them their space need be. You can be put at ease as I am open to paid cleaning agreements. Finally, it is my privilege to send a billion photos of your pets when I’m with them!
“Julianne was our rockstar pet sitter again. She had openings last minute over the holiday weekend and took such great care when checking in on my cat. She always sends the best updates. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve done dogsitting for many friends, family friends, and neighbors over the years, and have worked in a grooming salon, so I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes! I’ve taken care of my own dogs as well and have plenty of experience there. I’m currently not working any other jobs, so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets! As such, I’m free just about any time of day! I have experience with safe and proper restraints of pets, so you won’t have to worry about your pet running away on my watch. I’m also happy to crate your pet if that would make you both more comfortable, and there are no other animals at the house, so my home is fit for dogs who want to be the sole focus of attention! The dogs on my profile live with my parents, but I love them, so I wanted to add them anyways (:
About: I owned over 6 rescue dogs at once, animals are innocent and deserve love, I have worked in clinics before and have seen all shapes and sizes and loved them all I am available at anytime you may need, emergencies happen and I can be there to help! Anytime you need, I’ll be there for you and your fur baby! I always check they have their needs met and if any medical assistance is required I do have clinic experience as well. Keeping animals safe and happy is what I love!
“Brianna was a wonderful cat sitter for my 2 cats! She sent such thoughtful photos, videos and messages and I felt so comfortable knowing they were being cared for by her. I hope to be able to use her services again and again!”

“Marissa was very attentive to our kitties while we were away. They both require medication and she administered with no problems! Would highly recommend her for future bookings.”

“She came and checked on my cat several times while I was gone and kept me updated. She was very flexible with the dates and times and ensured proper care of my cat.”

“Knowing that our cats are under Cate’s care makes being away from them a little easier. She is trustworthy and reliable. She sends updates and photos daily. She is a fantastic pet sitter and I could not recommend her enough!!”

“Stacy took care of our two rabbits while we were gone for a few days and did an excellent job! I would highly recommend her to anyone needing pet-sitting services. Stacy came out ahead of time to meet us, was on time each day with her visits, and faithfully sent us photos and updates after each visit. We knew our buns were in good hands! She also watered the flowers on our porch and moved our trash bin to the street for pick-up. Thank you, Stacy!”
About: I am a first-year student in CSU’s Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program, and I love caring for animals! For the past 2 years, I have worked as an animal attendant and veterinary assistant in Boulder. I am also Pet First-Aid/CPR certified! In addition to previously owning dogs and a hedgehog, I have spent the past 11 years pet sitting and dog walking for friends and families, providing care for blind, deaf, disabled, senior, and young dogs and cats, as well as various reptiles. I would be honored to love and care for (and spoil!) your beloved fur baby like they are my own!! I am currently in classes from roughly 9am-5:30pm on most weekdays with an hour lunch at 12pm. Weekends are the most free for me, but I would love to work around my schedule to give your pets the attention, thorough care, and love they deserve! I always aim to create a safe, calm, and loving environment for every animal in my care. I will follow your pet’s normal routine closely and make sure they receive plenty of exercise, enrichment, playtime, and affection to meet their individual needs and personality. Whether that means relaxing at home, going on walks, or playing with toys and frisbees, your fur baby’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities!
About: I have taken care of a bunch of different pets over the course of 5 years. I have cared for and played with many animals ranging from lizards to bunnies to cats and dogs. I have babysat many furry babies including ones with special care like health problems or seniors. I currently work at the foothills mall about 6 hours a week so I’m free pretty much all the time. I do have one more year of school so during the school year I’m slightly busier. I have had dogs come to my house before for babysitting but I have a very nervous dog at home and I'd prefer not to.
“We had a great experience with Chloe! She took care of our two cats and made the whole process easy and stress-free. She was communicative and proactive, sending regular updates and photos so we always knew how things were going. We felt totally at ease knowing our cats were in good hands and would definitely trust her again in the future. Highly recommend!”

About: I’m a pre-vet student at Colorado State University, and I have worked with and had pets for my whole life. I volunteer regularly at Animal Friends Alliance and The Milo Foundation, taking care of cats and dogs of all sizes and ages, from puppies to seniors. I also volunteer around the clinic at Marin Humane Society, prepping and taking care of recovering animals after procedures. I have pet sit for friends and family for the past 6 years, walking, feeding, and playing with their animals. Around my house I am the dedicated person to administer any medications and teach new tricks! I am a very flexible person! I am a full time student at the moment, with classes in the mornings and early afternoons on all weekdays during the semester. But I am dedicated to animal care and love to spend time with pets. I also volunteer regularly throughout the week, but those shifts are moveable. As a pre-vet student I take animal safety seriously, always being gentle and making sure to notice any signs of fatigue or weakness. I make sure to stay in the proper areas while petting unless the animal is comfortable with me going further. I clean all messes that the pets make, whether it’s fecal matter, vomit, or anything else. I’m always sure to make the pets feel cared for, happy, and loved!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fort Collins
Haley was fantastic and I highly reccomend her for drop in visits! She was communicative and wrote detail notes of her visit which helped me feel so at ease while we were away from midday to late evening. She asked a lot of great questions to get to know our two great Pyrenees who are wonderful but have some funky quarks. I felt very confident leaving them in her hands for backyard time and walks. Thank you so much Haley, we are really grateful to have found you here in Fort Collins and will absolutely reach out again.

I have two anxious dogs with very different needs who require extra time, medication, and support, so finding pet care is usually really stressful for me. Alessia has such a calm energy that both of my dogs took to her immediately. After just one meet-and-greet, they were already thrilled to see her for the second visit! I feel so comfortable and relieved having found her profile. She is also so responsive and easy to work through logistics with. Thank you Alessia!

Rebecca did an amazing job taking care of our two dogs! She left detailed updates with lots of photos. She was prompt in her responses and completed a last-minute meet-up to meet the dogs before our trip. We really appreciated her help! The dogs were very content when we arrived home.

Lillian is such an amazing pet sitter and we are so happy to have found her! She is so kind and thoughtful and wonderful to talk to. Lillian listens to all of our concerns and goes above and beyond our expectations for taking care of our fur babies. When a heat wave happened, instead of only doing the basics for our chickens, she also bought them fresh fruits and veggies to help them beat the heat! Our dogs, cat, chickens, and fish are always so happy and healthy after Lillian has taken care of them! Highly recommend! Thank you so much Lillian!
We adore Jade. She makes sure our baby girl is happy and safe, allowing us to enjoy our time away. Jade is always reliable, aligns to any suggestions I’ve left and is intuitive about Sparrow’s needs, and takes amazing care of our home. She is literally the best!

Taegan is absolutely awesome! She is incredibly thorough and always makes sure she has all the details right before we leave. Her communication is fantastic, and she constantly keeps us updated, which gives us total peace of mind. Most importantly, she treats our pets like they are her own. We couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter and highly recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
