About: Hi! I’m Oliver! From a young age I have had a special bond with animals, especially dogs. Because of this, I am studying zoology at CSU with the hopes of going to veterinary school after my undergrad. I have experience walking dogs and playing with cats as a volunteer at an animal shelter and have experience pet sitting and walking my grandma’s dog. I am currently a part-time student at Colorado State University so I have plenty of time in the evenings and weekends to look after you fur babies and take them for walks. I am dedicated to providing the most love and attention to your fur babies as possible. I can go for long walks and give loving snuggles and playtime. Your fur babies are in good hands with me!
“Wendy is simply amazing with my cats. She goes above and beyond to help as needed. Anytime I travelled, i honestly always worried about my cats. With Wendy, I really have peace of mind that they are in great hands.”

“Kaya was an amazing find!! We had family in town and booked with her about two weeks ahead of time. We ended up changing plans and she was so accommodating to switching times. I sooo appreciate her and would definitely use her again!!”

About: 4th year zoology student: I have been caring for pets in homes since I was 15 years old. From 2019-2024 I volunteered with Paws of Central Texas. This included various trainings. I am currently a volunteer at the Reptile and Amphibian Center of the Rockies. I have performed drop in pet care as well as in home pet care for many years. I am a 4th year zoology student on break for summer. I am volunteering at the Reptile and Amphibian Center of the Rockies. My shifts are usually 2-3 hours so I am very flexible to drop in or stay with your pet. I will treat your pet as my own. I will communicate as much as necessary. I am able to give my full attention to your pets!
About: I have always loved being around animals and I have had a lot of experience with pets growing up! I am a dog lover and I have 2 golden retrievers at home! I am comfortable handling larger and more energetic dogs as well as smaller breeds. I have done a lot of pet sitting for neighbors and family friends. I understand that each pet has a unique personality and set of needs. I will provide loving and reliable care for your pets so you can have peace and mind while you’re away. I am not currently working and home for the summer! So I have plenty of free time to spend with your animals! I am free both weekdays and weekends! I understand trusting someone with your pet is a big responsibility. I will care for both your pet and home by keeping your pup in a safe environment. I want to provide exercise and a positive and loving experience for your pets, while also keeping safety as a top priority. By paying attention to surroundings, avoiding situations with other dogs, and make sure your dog is comfortable and happy!
“Julianne provided drop-in visits for my cat, Matcha, while I was away. She was extremely communicative, reliable, friendly, and thorough with her care. I highly recommend booking with her.”

“Taegan did a great job with our house full of animals. She approached her work with care and kindness and did a thorough job of communicating with us! We thought she went above and beyond (as a tiny example, she noticed our full trash can and took it to the curb on trash day).”

“We have never left Diesel in anyone else’s hands, he has always come with us. I was so nervous! Jade came to meet him first (he adored her from the beginning) and she made us SO comfortable and took such good care of him! He was so happy in all of the pictures she took, and he actually ate, which he doesn’t usually do without us there! Would absolutely recommend 100%!!”

“Thank you for all your communication and careful care for our cats. The pictures are great and the extra effort to locate our shy cat appreciated, thanks again!”

“Haley is AMAZING!!! We could not wish for someone who is more attentive, caring and responsible to take care of Harry (50lb. English Bulldog). Thank you with all our hearts, we WILL be reaching out next time 😊”

“Isabella has done an excellent job. She showed up on time, followed our feeding instructions precisely, and spent great quality time with our boys (dogs). They love it when she drops by for a visit and some outdoor playtime. We are very appreciative and fortunate to have had Isabella's help. I would recommend her services to anyone looking for a sitter or walker.”
“Hailey was great! She didn’t hesitate to reach out when I gave her the wrong garage code (whoops), she sent a ton of pictures and videos every day (and included pictures of packages that got delivered and a picture of some throw up from one of my kitties). My cats can be a bit shy and not want to come out around strangers, but they seemed comfortable and social with her. She also brought her own laser pointer to play which was a hit. I get anxious leaving my pets behind, but she really put my mind at ease while we were away :-)”

About: I’ve done dogsitting for many friends, family friends, and neighbors over the years, and have worked in a grooming salon, so I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes! I’ve taken care of my own dogs as well and have plenty of experience there. I’m currently not working any other jobs, so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets! As such, I’m free just about any time of day! I have experience with safe and proper restraints of pets, so you won’t have to worry about your pet running away on my watch. I’m also happy to crate your pet if that would make you both more comfortable, and there are no other animals at the house, so my home is fit for dogs who want to be the sole focus of attention! The dogs on my profile live with my parents, but I love them, so I wanted to add them anyways (:
“Nell is someone I would highly recommend to care for your furry companion. She took excellent care of my cat Luka while I was away on vacation. She dropped in twice daily to feed, clean Luka's litter boxes, and interact with him. I appreciated her photos that she sent after each visit. Nell definitely has a special talent in interacting with domesticated animals. I would highly recommend Nell to care for your cat or dog while you're away from home. Thank you Nell.”

“Lacey took such good care of our senior bull dog while we were away from the holidays! She’s very dependable, communicative, professional and will treat your pup like her own.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 8 years old! I am an AVA with 120 hours of clinic experience. I have experience bathing, walking, grooming, and trimming dogs and cats nails. I have about a year of experience in doggy daycare room management. I am working part time while home for the summer. I have availability all day on the weekends and weekdays. I am available to stay overnight if needed. My backyard is fenced off and I have 3 friendly cats, Toby is 3 and loves to play, Rocket is 8 and super cuddly, and Max is 14, older and more relaxed with experience living with dogs for 3 years.
“Sienna did a great job with my two cats and two dogs. One of my dogs, who is a senior, requires a lot of care and sienna did great with this. I felt totally comfortable leaving her in charge of the animals and will definitely use her again!!”
About: Especially looking for dog walking or drop ins!! Pet sitting has always been my favorite job! Wagging tails is my favorite thing to see 🐾❤️! I’ve grown up with animals all my life and know their behaviors. I work with all ages and take the proper steps to care for all. I have been pet sitting for 4 years. I have a lot of love to give and will help your pet feel cared for. I am 19 years old and study biology and botany at Colorado State University (I can water your plants too 😁🌱). I only do sitting in my client’s home. Because I am a full time student as well as have a job, there could be times where I need to be away for as long as 6-7 hours I do my best to go above and beyond to give clients security in knowing their pets are safe and cared for. Happy to do daily updates, photos, and keep owners in the loop! I have a few pups of my own so I know how important it is to know they are doing alright. Along with cat and dog care, I also have experience with farm animals such as llamas, chickens, ducks, bunnies and a few goats 🐐!! I would love to have a prior meet and greet to learn more about you and your pet. I have a pretty decent memory but always prefer to have a written down list/routine to follow while staying at your home. Housesitting includes overnight care (if you are comfortable with it), staying majority of the day, feeding, and letting out to potty/play. Walks are included with housesitting. During high school, I took a vet science course where we went over animal first aid and CPR. This knowledge will guide me if there are ever any critical situations with your pet. I am currently a college student so I will have class most days. I also have a job which I will work around. I will care for your pet and help them feel loved always. If I have to be away for a longer amount of time than usual, I will always let you know! I always travel to clients homes and to help make sure your pets feel comfortable with me. I am always happy to schedule a visit beforehand to ensure legitimacy and max comfort.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fort Collins
Excellent and attentive sitter, provided great care and play to our pets! Noticed we ran out of litter so she brought her own to use when we were gone. She went above and beyond to communicate, send photos, and answer questions. She is incredibly passionate about what she does and the animals she cares for, it shines through. I couldn’t recommend Lillian more!

She was incredibly thorough, attentive, and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She sent lots of photos and updates every visit, which made it so much easier to relax knowing our cat was happy and well cared for. It was obvious she genuinely cared and took the time to make sure everything was perfect. We would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
