“We needed someone to watch our dog while we were in town for a few hours, and happened to find Rebekah. She did such a great job! She sent a picture letting me know my dog was having fun, and was very responsive to our changing schedule. I felt my dog was in good hands with her, and am so glad I found her!”

“Zoey gets so excited she starts getting restless and whining to get out of the car to stay with Rachel! I feel confident she’s having a great time and get tons of photo updates throughout the day!”
“Josslyn was great. I highly recommend leaving your fur baby with her. She kept me updated with lots of pictures throughout the day and my girl seemed pretty happy. The whole time will definitely be seeing her again. Her pups are super adorable too and very well behaved.”

About: I am home full-time after having hip surgery in early August. My dog, Pepper, loves playing with other dogs! I have been caring for the dogs and cats of friends and neighbors for over 5 years now, and I frequently foster dogs from animal shelters. I am home full time right now because of a recent surgery and hoping to host dogs for daycare or boarding while I have the time. It would be a win-win because my dog, Pepper would love some dog playmates too. I am a reliable and honest person with excellent references and tons of love for pets of all kinds. I can assure you that my attention to detail and gentle demeanor will ensure that your pet has a safe and fun time with me.
About: ⭐️Now booking Sept-Nov 2026!!⭐️ Hi! We are Delaney and Isaac, a young, active couple that loves pets and has opened our home to new furry friends! Delaney and Isaac work remote, allowing one of us to be with your pet most of the time. We have a sweet and goofy 2yo mut that would love to play with your pup. Located nearby parks and trails, we have access to lots of great walk spots. (Plus, we allow dogs on the couch!) We look forward to becoming your new go-to sitters for your pets! We both have flexible remote positions that allows us to be home with your furry friend. We have a large grassy area they can play safely off leash! We will take care of your pet like our own! When beginning to pet sit at 12yo, Delaney quickly fell in love with every pet she watched. We both love to snuggle pups on the couch in the evening, let the pups lay in the sunshine, and give lots of love.
“We needed someone to watch Roman, our English Bulldog while visiting Fort Collins. Leslie did an amazing job! She has very sweet kids and dog that will make your pup feel right at home. She sent pictures throughout the stay to keep me posted. I will definitely use her again! Roman is tired and happy after a great day playing.”
“Sarah, her family, and her dog Tessa are all so kind! She was able to meet the needs of my dog with separation anxiety, and able to accommodate him when my plans changed close to a holiday. Additionally, she was very flexible as I was figuring out my return plans. Her kids are gentle with dogs, her backyard is spacious, and I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her when I went out of town. Thank you Sarah!”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and truly love caring for them. I share my home with my sweet 6-year-old dog who’s very well behaved, as well as a cat who’s used to being around other animals. I offer a calm, loving environment where pets can feel safe and at home while you're away. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or a senior needing extra TLC, I’m attentive to their needs and happy to accommodate special routines or preferences. I currently work from home and am home pretty much everyday outside of that as well. I love animals and am very excited to host some furry friends! When caring for pets in my home, I focus on making them feel as comfortable and loved as possible. I stick closely to their usual routines—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or cuddle sessions—to help them feel safe and settled. I provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and rest, and I'm mindful of each pet’s personality and energy level. My dog is friendly and calm, and I always do slow, supervised introductions to ensure everyone gets along. I also have space for quiet time if a pet prefers their own area. Cleanliness, safety, and lots of love are my top priorities.
“Rosa was wonderful with my Pomeranian, Badger! He loves her and asked to come back tomorrow. :) Rosa administered oral liquid medication for me, applied a diaper when needed, and followed his feeding routine. Took badger for walks and brought him out to lunch! Played with him, cuddled up and spent chill time together too. I would recommend Rosa to a dear friend! Trustworthy, reliable and competent with pets!”

“They are very kind people. Every every picture they sent showed that my dog was having a great time when we left. He jumped into his car, laid down in his seat and fell asleep for the next hour and a half while we drove home.”

About: I just graduated from CSU with my Bachelors Degree in Animal Science and I have worked at the CSU Vet Teaching Hospital for almost two years now. I plan to further my schooling within the animal care fields either through vet school or a masters program! I have had pets of my own since I was very young and have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was 12. I have a dog and cat of my own that are just the sweetest and smartest boys. I love animals of all types and would be honored to spread that love to your pets! I'm currently awaiting entering a new position at the end of the summer, so my schedule is very open and I would love to fill that free time with animal care! I currently have my dog and cat in my home with me. My dog is a very friendly and loving black lab who gets along with anyone and my cat can take a minute to warm up to other animals but he comes around! I love a good, long walk around the neighborhood or even going to the dog park to get in some socialization! I am a big fan of cuddling on the couch or playing fetch until one of us drops!
“No wonder Brenda has so many repeat clients! She’s wonderfully responsive to both me and my pet. Kept in touch with me thru the day with pictures and feedback on how my dog was doing. Will definitely use her service again and highly recommend her to anyone who needs help!”
“We took a chance using Rover for our first time and so thankful that we did! Andrea took amazing care of our puppy - 10 out of 10 would recommend her and use again.”

Tavia is more than 5 stars and took my dogs in for the day when traveling in the area. It was all last minute when other “ sitters “ never” replied to sitting request this , She keep me updated during the day. Go ahead and take the dive in this a serviceless world with Tavia,

Josslyn was great! This is the second time I've taken my dog to her. She always seems lots of pictures, stays in touch, responds quickly, and my dog looks like she is having a wonderful time! She comes home exhausted from playing with Josslyn and her 2 dogs! Highly recommend Josslyn

I cannot recommend Natasha enough. I reached out last minute in full panic mode, and she not only squeezed me in but also made time for a same day meet and greet. She turned what could have been a disaster into the smoothest experience ever. My dog Boo was excited to go back to her, which says everything. She clearly understood his needs, made him feel at home, and gave me total peace of mind while I was at work. She also sent photos and videos of Boo throughout the day, and whenever I checked in to see how he was doing, she was quick to respond. That level of care and communication meant so much. If you're looking for someone kind, responsive, flexible, and genuinely great with dogs, book her immediately. She went above and beyond for us, and I am so grateful.

Sarah did a great job with our active dog. Juju had a great time and was happily worn out when she got home. Sarah was very accommodating as I had to slightly change the time frame a day or two before our visit. Juju can’t wait to spend more time with Sarah and her new friend Tessa!

Alia took great care of our puppy and gave her lots of play time outside. Getting photos of our pup during her stay gave us assurance that she was in good hands and having loads of fun while we were away. Our pup came home happy and ready for a nice long nap. We’ll definitely be booking with Alia again! ~ Ashlyn & Ben

Kaitlyn took great care of my dog. There were a lot of pictures and updates throughout the day. Kaitlyn also communicated well before the booking, making sure Aloy would be comfortable in her care. This is your sign to book with Kaitlyn if you’re looking for someone in Fort Collins to watch your puppy.

Kelsey was great!! She met us at the garage and brought us into her backyard so EJ could run. She sent pics of him playing and resting comfortably in her home. She was also flexible since we were drinking from Pueblo and weren’t quite sure of our time. EJ was with her all day and he seemed to enjoy himself.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
