About: The beautiful atmosphere here at Ranch Itty Bitty provides lots of loving care, safety and walks on quiet country roads. All visitors love it here. I am nearly 100% retired and enjoy spending time with loving animals while their human family spends time away. I work hard to make sure their time is as precious as yours and mine. Since my two sweet pups traveled over the rainbow bridge, I have found joy in caring for pups of other families. While I miss my own, I adore the company of dogs and have found this experience absolutely perfect for my life. I have a big fenced yard if you need boarding services. I am extremely caring, respectful and have oodles of references to let you know you are hiring the best of care for your furry loved ones.

Rachel has been amazing with our Doberman puppy. She is super welcoming, and he loved her right away, as if she was an old friend. He’s just had his first 2 days in daycare, and he’s having a great time and making new dog friends. He’s socializing and learning new things, and he is more calm when he comes home, even with his puppy crazies. Loving the updates and pictures to see his day! Grateful for this wonderful daycare for our little man. ❤️🦖🐾

I really appreciate having Lindsey as a sitter! I have an older dog who would get anxious to the point of physical exhaustion at other dog sitters and commercial boarding places. It got to the point where one time I went to pick her up and she literally could not walk. Lindsey has senior dog experience and is home most of the time, which gives me confidence that my dog will have someone around to keep her company and won't get too anxious or worried. She's also been helpful in working with me on getting my dog acclimated to her house and easing her into the new environment. I'm very thankful for having an experienced and caring sitter to look after my dog!

Rebekah is a LIFESAVER! When my elderly mother was rushed to Emergency, I was panic-stricken about what to do with her Puggle while I was at work. Rebekah took Wrigley in immediately with NO advance notice, and he loved every minute! I don’t know what I would have done without her. THANK YOU SO MUCH, REBEKAH!

About: Loving animals is about forming meaningful connections with creatures who provide companionship, loyalty, and joy. Pets often offer unconditional love, and caring for them can be deeply rewarding. I have been taking care of people's pets, even my own, since I was around 14 years old. I have loved animals my whole life and I am excited to help you and your fur babies! I recently just got let go from my full-time job so I have plenty of free time to help out with things you may need. Whether it's a walk, drop-in, or in-house sitting I am willing and able to help! I will safely care for your pets by providing a secure and comfortable environment tailored to their individual needs. I prioritize their well-being by following clear instructions for feeding, exercise, and any special care routines. I ensure their safety by keeping them in a secure space and being vigilant about their health and behavior. About: We can transport your furry friend(s) to my home and back to yours from 8:30a to 6:30p. I’ve owned at least one dog since I was 10 and loved everyone that has came into my life. From walking, to playing, to bathing (most of the time both of us by the end of it lol) it was a joy. I do have experience caring for senior dogs and puppies. I can administer oral medication. Currently I am staying at home full time as I just had my baby at the end of October ‘25. Have occasional doctors appointments during the week or random errands. There will be very limited time pups are left unattended. My husband also helps with the dogs and can sometimes take them to the dog park in Wellington or Ault. I have a new baby as of the end of October and have 2 female dogs in the home, one is 2.5 and the other is 13, the older one sticks to herself mostly but sometimes regulates the puppies and tells them to slow it down. Both are very well socialized and do not have any issues with other dogs. We can set up a time to do a meet and greet or work through a plan of separation (if necessary!! Normally it is not) which I have practiced and am set up for. I have my backyard spilt into 2 runs as well as an isolation pen. This is to help with any entrance excitement. If a dog is really pushy at the gate they’ll be put into a different section of fencing so they don’t push out. We have plenty of toys here, and ask that bones are not brought with to prevent any issues.

Sarah, her family, and her dog Tessa are all so kind! She was able to meet the needs of my dog with separation anxiety, and able to accommodate him when my plans changed close to a holiday. Additionally, she was very flexible as I was figuring out my return plans. Her kids are gentle with dogs, her backyard is spacious, and I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her when I went out of town. Thank you Sarah!

About: I’ve had dogs, cats, reptiles, and small mammals my whole life! My 100lbs dog has taught me tons about dog behavior, body language, and training. There are very few animal related challenges I’m not up to! I’m a graduate student at CSU. I’ll have a pretty open routine this summer and am looking to fill it with pets. I can do morning walks, feedings, letting doggies out into your backyard. Whatever you need! I have a large fenced in yard and a private home in a duplex with nice, dog-friendly neighbors. My dog also gets 2 walks per day, so adding a couple more dogs into the routine would be easy.

Elizabeth and will were great with our dog! We haven’t left our dog with anyone but family since before the pandemic. We had to travel to a funeral and so it was kind of a hectic time. Elizabeth was more than willing to accommodate our pick up and drop off times and kept us updated all day. Our dog was happy upon pickup. We would definitely use Elizabeth and will again!!

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Wellington

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Wellington on Rover is $33.3 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 490 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Wellington. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Wellington commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 490 sitters in Wellington, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
