Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard for my elderly basset hound, Stella, and adult mini poodle mix, Winston. We go on frequent walks to either of the nearby parks, and cuddle up on the couch when the weather doesn't cooperate. How I care for visiting pets very much depends on the visitor's needs. I'll give extra attention for anxious pups, a separate space for shy guys, extra play time for the hyper dogs. I will do all that I can to make this a pleasant experience for your pet, so you can have a pleasant vacation free from worry!

Information Patrick D. would like to know about your pet
Does your pet require any special care? Are there any peculiarities I should be aware of (eg. doesn't like when people wear hats, won't drink from metal bowls, etc)?
A typical day
We typically start our day with breakfast followed by outside time (I do yardwork while the dogs carefully observe the neighbor's chickens). Around midday we do tricks for treats. We like to get a walk in right around dusk. After dinner is indoor play time followed promptly by couch cuddles. My guests' comfort is a high priority, so if your pet has a routine I'm happy to incorporate their habbits into our routine to make them feel safe and loved!

Pet care experience
Caring for dogs has been a part of my life since I was able to walk. I have cared for all ages, shapes, and temperaments. I have a knack for understanding their behavior and getting them what they need. Since becoming a homeowner I have shaped my home into a place pets feel comfortable. I am the go-to pet sitter for my friends, family, and neighbors, and I look forward to becoming your go-to sitter as well!

Reviews

Patrick loves dogs and had Delilah socializing with his dogs in minutes. Every picture she was playing, with her tail up and wagging. She was a happy part of pack when we picked her up. We'll definitely use Patrick to care for Delilah again.

Patrick took great care of my dog judy while I was on vacation. Highly recommend

Patrick was amazing. We were out of the country for his visits with our dog. His communication was timely and thorough. He went above and beyond with water plants, caring or our chickens, plants and cat as well at the dog. Will definitely recommend and use Patrick again.

Max had a wonderful time and adventure. Patrick was amazing with Max and so were his dog, Stella and Winston. He also met a cat and a Cavalier among others. A five star week from home.
