“Caresse is a pro, she went above and beyond with my senior pup Etta. I really appreciated the custom touches like watering my newly planted garden plants and giving medication as I described. And she worked me into her schedule last minute on a holiday weekend. I came home to a happy girl!”

“Our two cats do not get along. Despite their territorial spats, Patrick has somehow managed to get our trouble makers to play nice! I am astounded to come home from our trips to find the cats as best buddies. Our home is automated for food and water, but the mental stimulation from quality playtime is something you cannot simulate from a machine. According to our two cats, they give him 4 paws up! You can expect from Patrick a sitter that follows directions, thoughtful comments, excellent photos, and reliable availability. Thank you!”

“This was our first time having Jade watch our pups and everything was great! She gave them a lot of love and was very responsive to our messages. She also provided great updates and pictures. We would definitely recommend Jade to others and will schedule with her again in the future!”

“This was the 5th time I’ve had Wendy watch my girl Kiwi and I’d highly recommend her to anyone in the Highlands Ranch area! She’s also great about sharing pics from each visit and is quick to respond to any questions I have. 5 stars!”

“She did amazing with my kitties! Both were well taken care of during my vacation. Even my big timid boy warmed up to her! Definitely will be booking again!”

About: I grew up in a household with dogs all my life, including boxers, a labradoodle, and a boston terrier! Family and friends would often rely on me for walking, sitting and bathing their pups. In college, I would spend my free weekends volunteering to walk and care for dogs at the local animal shelter. I now have a best friend of my own, a shepherd mix puppy named Davie! I would be honored to care for your pup, and provide any additional services you may need like walking or a bath! I currently work full time during the week, but can be available in the evenings for a check-in or on the weekends for check-ins or sitting. I have a large park right outside my front door that includes a walking trail and an enclosed dog park for your pup to play! My baby pup Davie does very well with other dogs and would love to play with yours!
“Isabella was a joy! Superior communication and promptness of care. She took amazing care of our Bea (10mo old Pyrenees) and Freyja (our cat). Thank you Isabella!!!! Looking forward to next time!”

“Mackenzie was amazing during our little getaway. She made sure Capone got lots of fun and attention. The pictures after each visit were great. She made us feel at ease, knowing our dog was in good hands. I would confidently rebook with her!”

“Rebecca is great! She always makes sure our doggie gets plenty of exercise and food and water. She’s also very quick to respond and help out when we need someone!”

“Taegan did a great job with our house full of animals. She approached her work with care and kindness and did a thorough job of communicating with us! We thought she went above and beyond (as a tiny example, she noticed our full trash can and took it to the curb on trash day).”

“Kaya was an amazing find!! We had family in town and booked with her about two weeks ahead of time. We ended up changing plans and she was so accommodating to switching times. I sooo appreciate her and would definitely use her again!!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love helping them stay happy, healthy, and safe. I've raised my own dogs for over 15 years—all from puppies—and have provided pet care for family and friends throughout that time. I've spent years learning canine body language, assessing behavior, and working alongside professional dog trainers. I have extensive experience with reactive dogs and understand how to safely and confidently meet their needs during walks and daily care. Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, in training, a senior, or has special needs, I'm happy to adapt my care to what makes them feel most comfortable. While I'm not a veterinary professional, I worked in veterinary diagnostics for nearly 10 years, giving me a strong understanding of animal health and behavior. I'm comfortable administering medications to both dogs and cats, can provide basic first aid if needed, and have experience caring for senior pets and those with medical needs. One of my own dogs struggled with severe anxiety, and through patience, training, and consistency she grew into a calm, happy companion, giving me firsthand experience supporting dogs that need a little extra understanding. I currently offer walks, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting. My goal is to care for every pet as if they were my own, following your routines closely so they feel safe, loved, and stress-free while you're away. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide dependable care for your pets. I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting on both weekdays and weekends after 10:00 AM. I'll always communicate clearly about my availability and make every effort to accommodate your pet's routine whenever possible. I currently offer walks, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting in your home. I believe pets are happiest when they can stay in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I'll follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special routines or training. During walks, I prioritize your pet's safety by paying close attention to their body language, avoiding situations that may cause stress, and ensuring they're secure at all times. I'll also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. Because I have a reactive dog at home, I don't offer boarding or doggy daycare. This allows me to give my full attention to your pet while they're comfortable in their own home.
“Taylor does a wonderful job tending to the individual needs of our four cats. He goes above and beyond to make sure our cats and home are cared for and is very communicative. He even sweeps up the litter trails that our cats leave! I would certainly recommend him and will use him anytime he’s got the availability!”

About: I have taken care of dogs all ages and sizes since I was 13. From dropping in to feed them to staying overnight, my neighbors and family friends have always trusted me to take care of their furry friends! I am currently working part-time which gives me the flexibility to hangout with your furry friends as well! I am available during mornings and most evenings! My services do not include care in my home. However, I can easily let dogs out to use the bathroom, feed them, and take them out on walks depending on your requests!
“Madeline was wonderful once again. We booked her at the very last minute (only a few hours before we needed her to take care of our cat) and she responded quickly and took the same great care of Spooky as she has before. She’s fantastic!”
“We were so appreciative of Kat's kindness and patience while watching our kitten, Penelope. Penelope is afraid of new people but we felt completely comfortable leaving her under Kat's care because of Kat's love and understanding for animals. Kat kept us in the know with photos and updates which we greatly appreciated. We will be using Kat's pet sitting services in the future. She is a delightful person and was incredibly kind towards our kitten. Thank you Kat for watching our Penelope! You showed great adaptability as Penelope adjusted her comfort level with you.”

About: The beautiful atmosphere here at Ranch Itty Bitty provides lots of loving care, safety and walks on quiet country roads. All visitors love it here. I am nearly 100% retired and enjoy spending time with loving animals while their human family spends time away. I work hard to make sure their time is as precious as yours and mine. Since my two sweet pups traveled over the rainbow bridge, I have found joy in caring for pups of other families. While I miss my own, I adore the company of dogs and have found this experience absolutely perfect for my life. I have a big fenced yard if you need boarding services. I am extremely caring, respectful and have oodles of references to let you know you are hiring the best of care for your furry loved ones.
About: Hi, I'm Erin (or Rin to my friends) and I love animals of all kinds. I would be absolutely honored to have the opportunity to take care of your fur baby for you. I have an extensive history of pet sitting, fostering, rehabilitation, and minor training. I was raised by a k9 union military police officer and was taught how to train and care for dogs at an early age. During my adult years I fell in love with cats and have been involved with many rescues and foster groups over the years. I even had the joy of being a caretaker for a colony of cats several years ago. I've also harness trained cats and gotten them trained to go on walks too. I do freelance work from home, so as long as I have access to the Internet I'm able to work from anywhere, giving me plenty of time to spoil your fur baby. I am a work from home freelancer, so as long as I have internet access, I can do my work from pretty much anywhere - which means that I can provide care and adequate supervision for your pets. Though I do have a few cats myself, my roommate watches them while I am on an assignment, so there are no distractions that will get in the way of my caring for your animal(s). I do walk with a cane, so this does limit how many animals I can walk at one time. I do tend to make separate trips if I am unable to walk all animals at once. I prefer having meet and greets prior to assignments, so that I can ask a list of questions I have prepared in advance regarding your animal's required care. For example, I may ask about: - Temperament - Feeding Schedule - Medications - Allowed on Furniture? - Emergency Contacts & What to Do in the event of an Emergency - Potty Break Schedule

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Wellington
Caresse was wonderful. Our pet sitter fell through at the last minute and we were scrambling, and luckily found Caresse. Our dog loved her and she was so communicative, sent lots of photos and videos which we were thankful for, and also helped out with other little things (grabbing packages, watering plants). We will definitely use her again and it was such a relief to know our dog was in good hands during our trip!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
