About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! I've spent over a decade caring for pets and volunteering at animal shelters, and I love getting to know each animal's unique personality and figuring out what makes them feel comfortable and happy. Over the years, I've cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, and more, including senior pets and pets with medical or behavioral needs. At the shelter, I've taught classes on handling small animals, trained new volunteers, and worked as a camp counselor teaching kids how to safely interact with animals. I've also received extensive training in animal body language, behavior, and safe handling. We've had Tess come for visits now 3 or 4 time, and she is just great. She get's my reluctant dog to walk around the neighborhood and enjoy himself with sniffing.
