Hi All! I’m a student at Naropa with some extra time to spare for walks, drop ins and the occasional house sit. I just moved here and really like the idea of building a new regular client base. For house sits, I prefer to work as a team with my best friend. In my 10 years of pet sitting experience, I've learned that it's really important for everyone (including your pet!) to feel confident in a petting sitting situation. I approach pet sitting situations with integrity, professionalism, reliability and sensitivity. I will do my very best to synch in with your animal, their personality/schedule and keep you up to date on a day to day basis- with photos and videos. You can call absolutely or text me anytime while you're away, because I know from personal experience how important and reassuring it can to know your pets are safe and happy. Be assured that I will most definitely spoil your pet like crazy, but in the way that's appropriate for their personality and needs. About me: I've been an animal lover most of my life. The kind of animal lover that most of us are when we're young, I just never lost it. I adore animals, and care for them as though they are my own. I have cared for all types and sizes of dogs, including "aggressive" breeds, such a pits. I’m a Massage Therapist/Yoga teacher, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I like sitting, because it gives me exposure to a lot of different animals, I love to see and experience all of their personalities- it's fun for me. And, even though I love my home, I like to break up monotony and experience staying in other places a few times per month. Give me a shot, I bet your pet will let you know how awesome it was! PS: I sit and care for cats, too! ***However, please note that if I'm sitting for your dogs, I won't charge extra for cats *unless I have to change their litter daily and feed them. If so, it's an additional $5 per night. I will have to modify the booking form accordingly, as there is no option for extra cat fees when you book, unless your booking solely for cat care.

I recently had the pleasure of having Crystal care for my older dog. I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the beginning, she demonstrated a deep understanding and genuine affection for dogs, which immediately put me at ease. Her care for my older dog was nothing short of outstanding. She paid meticulous attention to her needs, ensuring she was well-fed, exercised, comfortable, and happy in my absence. It is evident that she naturally connects with animals, providing them with the love and attention they need. What truly stood out was how calm and content my dog was upon my return. It's often a bit stressful for her when I am away, but this time was different. She was relaxed and seemed very well taken care of, which speaks volumes about the quality of care she received. I am deeply grateful for the peace of mind and exceptional care provided. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, skilled dog sitter. She truly went above and beyond, and I can't thank her enough for taking such great care of my pup.
Harry had a great time during his stay!
Millie had a great overnight stay with Crystal and her nephew! She sent me pictures and gave some updates to let me know she was in good hands.
Crystal was wonderful and super communicative as well as accommodating to Rocky's schedule. Rocky was well taken care of and very happy when we got home!

Schedule
My weekly schedule is flexible and varying. I have school a few days per week and need to be in class 3 hours per day on the days when I do have class.

Safety, trust & environment
At this time, I’m only boarding small dogs who are completely house broken, unless they use pee-pads. They are allowed up on furniture and in my bed, when appropriate. I always encourage the owner to bring to have toys, treats special blankets and doggie beds. There are no other animals in my home at this time. I’m skilled in administering meds :)

A typical day
I am patient, loving and sensitive. I can generally become friends with most dogs almost immediately!! I can be stern (in a loving way) and let them know they are crossing boundaries without being harsh.
