“Carly continues to be an amazing and wonderful cat sitter. My two cats adore her and she dotes on them with healthy, happy, loving, and kind care. Thank you, Carly, from all of us!”

“Tess is fantastic! She is communicative, kind, and I trust her completely. She takes the most adorable photos and I can very clearly see that my cat is completely comfortable with her, cuddling and playing. I highly recommend Tess.”

“Linnea did a wonderful job taking care of our cats! She was very responsive and flexible. Our cats were calm and well adjusted when we arrived home.”

“We just started using Patricia to visit/walk my dog. My dog seemed very happy when I returned, and she left a lot of notes in the Rover card. She seems really loving toward my dog, and they enjoyed their walk. I look forward to having Patricia again. P.S. I also loved the way that she confirmed the visit, because I'm not above forgetting about it. Thank you Patricia!”

“We could not be happier with the service we received from Kim! She took great care of our two kitties. She went above and beyond when our adventurous boy got into a sticky fly trap. She looked up how to safely clean him and checked if it was dangerous for him and took time to call me about my preferences for cleaning/trimming. We are so grateful and will definitely book with Kim again!”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I am familiar with all personalities, sizes, ages and happy to meet them where they are at. Let me help make them comfortable while you’re away! My work schedule is flexible and when I’m not traveling for work, I’d like to spend my time helping with your pet, whether it’s walking, dropping in and keeping them company. I have a fenced in yard and if my dog gets along well with yours, I’d be happy to watch your dog in my home.

About: You know when you’re out in public and your dog unexpectedly rushes straight over to say hi to a random (specific) person then needs to be physically pulled away even after they got the attention they wanted? For some reason, I’ve always been that random but specific person. Sometimes it feels like dogs suddenly materialize in front of me or like their “hello” is really more of a “it’s about time you got here!” Dogs (and cats, for that matter) also tend to insist on cuddling up next to me instead of their usual pick when I visit their homes (and I’m certainly not complaining). I currently only have cats, but I grew up with three dogs (a chocolate lab, a miniature schnauzer, and a Pomeranian) and have learned how to love both in the ways they want me to love them. What I love most about dogs is how pure they are. We all appreciate their undying loyalty, of course, but the sweet, unconditionally caring emotional presence that dogs carry themselves with is one of the things that makes life worth living. I consider non-human animals to be people too, and dogs are definitely among the best non-human animals. I would be just as excited as your dog(s) would be to make a new friend! My availability is flexible in general but particularly in terms of the time of day. I have a circadian rhythm difference that makes my sleep “schedule” change throughout each week, so if I’m given sufficient notice (48 hours), I’m easily able to modify my waking hours if your pet has time-sensitive needs. As mentioned in my bios, animals seem to naturally see me as a Disney princess. However, even though I’m very confident that I’ll get along with your pet(s) without any issues, their friendship is theirs to give, not mine to demand. Their needs are my top priority (and would be even if I weren’t petsitting); I recognize that some animals need lots of time and space to truly feel safe, and giving them that time and space is the only way to create a mutually comforting environment. Even if your dog/cat actually is insatiably social and unfailingly affectionate, I want to be sure that I get an idea of any individual boundaries or strong preferences beforehand so that I’m able to treat them with the same respect and care that I would a human person. As far as dogs and cats that want lots of love and affection, I am happy to give and share it! My cats sleep with me most nights and I often have one on my lap or next to my leg throughout a given day. Either way, I’ll follow your pet’s lead.
“Samantha was professional, friendly and personable. She took extra great care of my pets!! I felt very at ease leaving her in charge. She went above and beyond. She took pics and sent a note everyday as well. I appreciate having had met such a caring sitter through Rover and will definitely contact again if she is available!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have six years of professional experience caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Whether I’m helping a friend, family member, or client, I treat every pet with the same love and care I would give my own. I am certified in Dog and Cat First Aid through the American Red Cross. I have a flexible schedule and an active lifestyle, so pets in my care get plenty of attention and exercise throughout the day. I want your pet to feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed, so I’m always happy to follow their usual schedule to make their stay feel as close to home as possible. Your pet’s safety and happiness always come first. I have a fully fenced yard and live right by Chautauqua, so there's plenty of space to play and explore. While I adore hosting social dogs, my home is also a great environment for dogs who prefer to be the only pet in the home, since I accept only one client at a time. I'm happy to accommodate multiple dogs from the same household, though!

About: I’m active, dependable, and genuinely love being around pets of all personalities and energy levels. As an endurance athlete and coach, I’ve built my life around consistency, patience, responsibility, and showing up every single day, and that naturally carries over into the way I care for pets. I understand that every pet is different. Some want nonstop adventure, some just want calm company and a reliable routine. I pay close attention to behavior, energy, and comfort so your pet feels safe, cared for, and at home. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I coach remotely, which gives me a flexible but structured schedule, and I’m already used to planning my day around training sessions, check-ins, and consistent responsibilities. That makes it easy for me to reliably build my day around a pet’s needs rather than the other way around. When I’m house sitting, I’m fully present in the home with your pet, so they get steady care, attention, and routine throughout the day instead of quick drop-ins. I’m typically up early and active, which works well for morning walks, feeding schedules, exercise, or evening down time. My lifestyle is built on consistency and responsibility, I can easily adapt and make sure your pet is cared for without disruption. I treat your home with respect and follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, medications, walks, and any specific routines your pet is used to. I stay attentive throughout the day, checking in regularly and making sure your pet is doing well, while also giving them space to relax naturally in their home environment. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, energy, and any changes that might need to be communicated right away. Because I stay in the home, your pet gets consistent care, company, and structure, which helps reduce stress and keeps their routine stable while you’re away. I also keep the home clean, organized, and respected at all times.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 12, but there’s never been a moment in my life where I haven’t owned an animal. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages. From six puppies to two full grown Great Pyrenees’s, I’ve done it all! I also have lots of experience with cats, with people saying I can get the meanest cat to love me. Animals truly hold such a special place in my heart, so I’d be happy to take care of yours! I currently have a freelancing job, which allows me to take care of your pet at any time! I naturally get up early so there’s no need to worry about me arriving late. I have primarily pet sit at others homes, and each time I make sure to familiarize myself with the pets routine to ensure a stress-free visit!

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my entire life. Growing up on a farm taught me responsibility, patience, and how to understand animals’ unique personalities and needs. Today, I’m the proud owner of two Golden Retrievers, so I know firsthand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies who need consistency and training reinforcement to senior dogs who require extra patience, attention, and specialized care. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’m committed to providing attentive, personalized care that helps them feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. I work from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to provide consistent attention throughout the day. Because I’m home most of the time, I’m able to accommodate walks, potty breaks, play sessions, feedings, and check-ins that fit your pet’s normal routine. My flexibility also makes it easier to accommodate last-minute requests whenever my schedule allows. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions before care begins. Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or my own, I provide a calm, attentive environment and make sure they receive plenty of exercise, affection, and supervision. I understand that every pet is different, so I follow owner instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, medications, walking routines, training commands, and household rules. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.
About: I pet-sit frequently for family and neighbors and it brings be joy that they entrust me with there pets. I grew up with two large dogs, a family cat, and eventually a cat to care for on my own. I learned to care for elderly dogs when mine grew old as well as knowing the discipline of a cat for myself. I am a college student. Over the summer I have a morning class from 9-10am Monday through Friday, but besides that my days are open. I hace a fenced in back yard from my previous dogs as well as a friendly neighbor dog who likes to run alongside the fence (on the other side) when there is a dog in our yard. I live in a one story home which gave easier access to elderly pets.
“She was absolutely wonderful! We had a booking fall through very last minute and she came to our emergency rescue so quickly! She answered right away, was able to come to the dogs within an hour of us needing her help! Not only was she was super sweet, helpful, respectful, come to our rescue and responsive she treated my dogs with so much kindness! She kept me updated every step and took lots of pictures! She will definitely be our go to for the future. Thank you so much! Definitely put my heart at ease since this was my first watch! 100% recommend!”

About: I’m an apartment dweller that loves dogs but can’t have one right now! Always down for a walk on one of our beautiful trails or some fetch! I work from home but have a very flexible schedule which allows me to have free time for pet care. I can tackle any time needed, but middle of the day is best! I can come to your home and pick up the furry friends for a walk around the block, etc. I really love pets and would show them nothing but plenty of scratches and encouragement.

Samantha was professional, friendly and personable. She took extra great care of my pets!! I felt very at ease leaving her in charge. She went above and beyond. She took pics and sent a note everyday as well. I appreciate having had met such a caring sitter through Rover and will definitely contact again if she is available!

Hanna did an amazing job from start to finish! She took the time to meet my dog ahead of time to make sure she was comfortable with her and was super patient. Best thing about Hanna is her communication! She’s was super responsive throughout the whole process. I highly recommend her to anyone and will for sure be booking again in the future!

Ella is a very warm and attentive sitter. I had to hire her while navigating a turbulent time at work while traveling internationally and she gave me the peace of mind I needed, knowing my kitties were happy and healthy. She has great communication and always a positive attitude. Will definitely recommend her for caring for your pets!

Carly took such excellent care of out 3 kitties while we were out of town for a week. She showed up when she said she would each morning and evening and every day sent the best photos of the kitties playing and eating, as well as detailed daily updates. I know she was patient, loving and caring with them because we came home to very content kitties. I love that she had one of our kitties each day on her lap for snuggling and play time with all of them. When we came home, the kitties were obviously well taken care of and happy. The next morning my husband joked that they were looking out the window for Carly! I will 100% book Carly again to watch our kitties!!!

We used Amelia again to dog sit our anxious rescue, and she continues to exceed our expectations. Chickpea was so happy to see her — always a great sign with a dog who takes time to warm up to people. Amelia is a genuinely calming presence, sent regular updates so we could relax, and clearly has a gift for working with dogs who need a little extra patience. So glad we found her.
