About: I have been a dedicated animal caretaker since my childhood beginning with my first pet, Spot a labrador retriever. Today I combine that lifelong passion with professional discipline as a current Denver Zoo volunteer and a recent graduate in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology. My background allows me to provide expert care for pets of all breed and life stages, from high-energy puppies to seniors with specific needs. I am committed to maintaining a safe, enriched, and reliable experience for your pets, applying the same high standards of well-being I use at the zoo to your own home. Pet care for me fits well within my schedule as my shifts at the zoo are flexible. This allows me to dedicate time to your pets for long walks, check-ins, or attentive house sitting. I'm available to ensure your pet maintains their consistent feedings, exercise schedule, or other needs. As a volunteer at the zoo and an EBIO graduate, I follow professional and strict safety protocols in my home and yours. I have a large condo allowing some space for your pet to roam, but I am very active with the outdoors thus fulfilling enrichment to hyper-active pets. I am habituated to monitor animal behavior closely, double-checking harnesses and leashes whenever going on walks, and ensuring a safe environment that meets high standards of well-being.

About: I love dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages! I've taken care of and trained my own dog (now 4) since he was 10 weeks old, and have cared for my family's pets growing up, as well friends' and former roommates' pets. I am perceptive and attentive to different dogs' varied needs and excited to get to know each of them and their different personalities! I have flexible working hours and am home for most of the week. My own dog is my priority, and yours will be as well! I have a large fenced-in yard, no kids as of yet, a very friendly dog named Oslo, and work much of the time from home for maximum snuggles and attention. Pets are allowed on the furniture (our pup sleeps in bed with us), though if they are most comfortable sleeping in their crate, we also have plenty of indoor space.

“We left our dog, Rocket, with Suhua for several days and he had a great time. Rocket was very well taken care of, which made us very happy and comfortable leaving him. He was walked several times a day and we received some pictures of Rocket, which our family all enjoyed. Suhua was very flexible with the drop off and pick-up time, esp since our flight was delayed. The neighborhood was very cute and safe. Also Rocket made fast friends with their very sweet dog. We will definitely like to use Suhua again if we have to travel and leave Rocket. “Della was absolutely amazing with our dog, Griffin. He is an anxious dog and doesn’t have much socialization, so we were a bit nervous leaving him in a new environment with other dogs. However, Della did everything to make him feel more comfortable throughout the weekend, including individual time with his toys and making him comfortable at night.
