About: I pet-sit frequently for family and neighbors and it brings be joy that they entrust me with there pets. I grew up with two large dogs, a family cat, and eventually a cat to care for on my own. I learned to care for elderly dogs when mine grew old as well as knowing the discipline of a cat for myself. I am a college student. Over the summer I have a morning class from 9-10am Monday through Friday, but besides that my days are open. I hace a fenced in back yard from my previous dogs as well as a friendly neighbor dog who likes to run alongside the fence (on the other side) when there is a dog in our yard. I live in a one story home which gave easier access to elderly pets.

About: With a background in behavioral health and outdoor leadership, I bring a calm, dependable, and thoughtful approach to pet care. I’m experienced with active and anxious dogs alike and enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality, routines, and needs. I am currently working as a part-time therapist, so in between seeing clients I have the flexibility to care for your animals. I love to be outside so getting them out for walks or throwing the ball for them is something I really enjoy. I provide pet care in the client’s home to keep pets comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I follow each owner’s specific instructions closely regarding feeding, walks, play, and any behavioral needs. I prioritize safety, consistency, and respect for both the pets and the home. I also make sure to keep things clean and organized, including litter boxes, food areas, and any pet-related messes. While I’m there, I focus on giving pets calm, attentive care and regular companionship so they feel secure while their owner is away. About: Hello! My name is Megan, and I recently received my master’s degree from CU Boulder. As I search for a full-time position, I have a flexible schedule and would love to spend some time helping care for your pets. My main goal of being on Rover is to gain experience with dogs so that I can be prepared to adopt my own someday! To help me gain confidence and comfortability for achieving that goal, I would work best with smaller size dogs. I’m also happy to spend time with older dogs that may just want some companionship, attention, and a calm presence while their owners are away. While I haven’t owned a dog myself, I’ve helped care for friends’ dogs over the years. I’m dependable, organized, and flexible with scheduling. I’d love to learn more about your pet and how I can help! I’m currently job searching, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time throughout the day and week for pet care. We can work something out and I will adjust my schedule as needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to follow the owner’s routine and instructions as closely as possible so their pet feels comfortable and cared for. I’m very mindful and respectful of household rules, including where I’m allowed in the home, feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific care instructions. I also make sure pets get attention, playtime, and companionship during my visit.
