“We have had Dobermans and Rottweilers for over 35 years. Each dog was different. We recently rescued “Jersey”, a Rotti puppy with minimal socialization and limited interactions with people and other dogs. Over the years, we have had a variety of trainings, classes and trainers work with us and our dogs. I wanted to start training asap, but Jersey needed to finish his series of shots first. I was not sure about virtual training, but it turned out that it was exactly what we needed! Brenda, our trainer was amazing! She was extremely knowledgeable of dog behavior, learning and training. She was positive, patient and non-judgemental. She listened to our concerns and issues, answered our questions, and customized Jersey’s training and our approach. Even with all of our dog experience, you forget what puppies are like! We learned different ways to work with Jersey from Brenda, and picked up many, many tips and pointers from her to help keep him moving forward! The step by step instructions for training each skill are provided after each session, and are easy to follow. The articles provide additional valuable information. Brenda left specific notes, suggestions and reminders for us after each class, and checked in with us during the week to see how things were going. We had to do our homework and log our progress between classes. That helped us to self monitor and kept us accountable for our progress and Jersey’s. Jersey learned so much, and so did we! Having Brenda come into our home and work one on one with us was the best new start we could have given Jersey! Thank you!”
