“Tina was prompt and communicated prior for meet and greet as well as showing up for Callie and keeping me informed as to how the walks went. I consider Tina to be very reliable and will entrust in her again to walk/sit Callie in the future.”

About: I volunteered with the humane society for years when I was a teen, and have cared for a pet for most years of my adult life. I care for animals deeply and also have a prompt, dutiful work ethic. I am free from early morning until late afternoon to walk your furry friends! I'm a writer, so it's as important for me to get out of the house as it is your pet! I bathe my kitty in affection and get her the healthiest, best food and treats that I can find. We play when she feels like it, and snuggle all night long.
“Jennifer has been so amazing with our dog and so amazing with our schedule. We have had several dog walkers, which were all great, but Jennifer always seems to go above and beyond for us and our pup.”

“I booked Victoria to walk my dog as I was starting a new job and my husband was out of town. She is incredibly reliable and awesome with our dog, Lona. I will definitely be rebooking with her and can recommend without reservation!”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, including cats, dogs, and for the past two years I’ve lived on a farm where I have gained experience caring for many different types of animals. We also double as a kitten rescue, taking in lost and abandoned kittens from newborns through teenagers. We bottle-feed, raise, and care for them until they are healthy, grown, and ready to be adopted into loving homes. I am extremely passionate about healthy and safe animal care and ensure that in my work. I am a college student and recently moved away from home and my farm, and the first priority on my list was getting back into work with animals. Being at CU I am occupied in the mornings and late afternoon. Anywhere between 11am-1pm I am free in between classes, and anytime after 4/5pm at night. I care for pets with patience, attention, and lots of love while making sure they feel safe and comfortable in their environment. Having cared for cats, dogs, reptiles, and a variety of farm animals, I understand that every animal has different needs and personalities. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, providing fresh water, cleaning up after pets, giving them exercise and playtime, and keeping a close eye on their behavior and well-being. Through helping my mom run our farm and caring for rescued kittens, including newborns, I’ve also learned how important it is to be gentle, responsible, and attentive to each animal’s individual needs.

“J’Ana walked our dog twice per day for a week and it went so smoothly! Our dog was staying with my mom and J’Ana communicated with her to pick him up and drop him off for each walk. She walked him for 45+ min for each walk and sent the cutest pictures. We’re so grateful for her quick communication, professionalism, kindness and flexibility!”

“We are so glad to have found Dan!! We appreciate how well he cares for Louie while on walks. Louie comes back happy and tired, and based on how excited he is when sees Dan, looking forward to his next walk 😆”

“Emily was amazing with Moose. She took him out for several walks as he was recovering from surgery and made sure that he had the right balance of being able to get some activity without overdoing it. She also made sure he had his “lunch”, a pill in a pill pocket, and water & got the cone back on him once he came back. It was such a relief to know that he was taken care of while I was at work.”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and have taken care of tons of family/friends pets as well! I would love to help out with yours too! I only work part time so I have plenty of availability and time for drop ins, feedings, and long walks. I have a very flexible schedule! I have an eight year old Border Collie who loves going to the park and chasing her frisbee. She’s very active and that’s a huge part of our every day routine.
“Gillian is fantastic and tofu loves her. We are so grateful for the help and it was pretty last minute too. Gillian provided us the much needed peace of mind we were searching for and we hope to work together again soon!”

“Camryn has been great with our dogs for quick drop ins to full overnight hang outs. We’ve got a pack of different personalities, and she manages them all so well while keeping them all safe.”

“Thank you so much for being such a good friend to our pets. We're sorry to be moving away - Bruno, Enzo and Micki, especially - but if we come back to the area, we'll be sure to find you!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Boulder
Gillian did a great job connecting with and walking my anxious dog. In fact, at our meet and greet my dog laid down and relaxed right next to her. That is so rare for him! Gillian was communicative about their walks and sent great photos. I will definitely hire her again, and highly recommend her!

We accidentally gave Chloe the wrong address, which we know was a huge inconvenience. Despite the mix-up, she was incredibly gracious, didn't give up, and made sure our dog got a great walk. We are so grateful for how she handled it, and tofu was so happy and healthy when we got home. Chloe is trustworthy, kind, and truly goes above and beyond. We highly recommend her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
