About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13, primarily caring for cats and dogs. My experience includes dog walking, feeding, playtime, administering basic routines, and cleaning litter boxes. I’ve especially worked with older cats and dogs, so I understand the extra patience, attentiveness, and gentle care they often need. I also have two cats of my own back home, giving me firsthand experience in daily responsibilities and expectations of being a pet owner. Because of this, I’m very mindful about my care towards your pet! I’m currently a second-year, first-generation student at CU Boulder, balancing school and a Work-Study position. I’m generally available Thursday through Monday after 1 PM and can be flexible with advance notice. When I house sit I treat every home with respect, focusing on your pet while you’re away. I understand leaving your home and furry friend to a stranger can be worrisome so I do my best to comfort your pet and keep your space the way you like it.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have helped care for them from when they were puppies through adulthood. Over the years, I’ve helped with daily walks, feeding, playtime, training reinforcement, and making sure they get plenty of attention and exercise. I’ve also helped care for dogs belonging to family members, which has given me experience with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. Growing up with dogs has taught me how important patience, consistency, and understanding each dog’s unique personality is when caring for them. I’m currently a graduate student doing research, which gives me a fairly flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate walks throughout the week. I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, so fitting dog walks into my daily routine comes naturally. Whether your dog needs a quick walk, regular exercise, or some extra attention during the day, I’ll work to provide reliable and consistent care. When caring for pets, my priority is always making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I understand every dog has different personalities, energy levels, and routines, so I try to adapt to what works best for them. Whether in your home or out on walks, I focus on keeping pets safe, giving them plenty of attention, and following any instructions or routines you provide to ensure consistency and trust.

About: I’ve grown up with small dogs and I love dogs of all sizes and ages. I just graduated college with a degree in animal biology and my full time job doesn’t start until September. This means that I have a wide open schedule to work around your dog walking needs! As a baseline, I walk between 3-8 miles per day so I can easily accommodate your dog’s preference! I don’t have any animals of my own but I have watched my friends’ pets in the past and love it! I have experience walking dogs and taking care of them on overnights. I have experience with senior dogs and dogs taking medications as well. My schedule is flexible and open, so feel free to reach out with any type of request! My full time job doesn’t start until mid September so I have a very free schedule. I am an early bird and like to stay active! This means that I can walk anytime between 6am-6pm and for as long as needed! While my home doesn’t allow pets, I will be sure to carefully abide by any directions you leave for your pets and respect your space as if it were my own!
About: I’ve been in love with dogs since I can remember, and my favorite type of work/volunteering has always involved them. When I was 15 I started dog sitting for my family friend, I watched and walked little Johnny twice a week for almost 2 years while his mom was out doing errands. After that, I started volunteering at the LoveJoy Foundation, an animal rescue in California. I walked dogs, cleaned crates, and even helped with vaccinations once a week at adoption events! My time at LoveJoy was one of the most rewarding experiences ever, and it taught me how to work with different types of dogs and different behaviors, including neurodivergent and disabled pups. I have a family dog of my own, sweet Montana, who will always be my best friend no matter how far apart we are. Montana is a bit older now, so we mostly enjoy hanging out on the couch together, but in his prior years I loved taking him on hikes, to the dog beach, and really anywhere that I went. I also have a crested gecko named Axel! I’m currently a junior at CU Boulder, so I do have school during the week but only for about 2-3 hours each day, most of the time I’m home to care for a pup! I absolutely love being outside here in Boulder, it’s too beautiful not to be, so walks and adventures are plentiful! I have a large house for your pup to roam around, but if it’s preferred that he stays in a crate during the day I can accommodate that too! My yard isn’t fenced, but we would have a lot of outside time at the park and on walks exploring all corners of Boulder. I do have experience dog sitting in client’s homes, I know that some dogs are probably more comfortable staying in their own home!

About: I have over 5 years of experience caring for a wide variety of animals, and I truly love what I do. I’ve worked with all kinds of pets, from furry companions like dogs and cats to reptiles and other unique animals, so I’m comfortable adapting to different needs and personalities. Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding, or just keeping them company, I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m responsible, attentive, and quick to learn each pet’s routine. You can count on me to be reliable, respectful of your home, and focused on making the experience smooth and stress-free for both you and your pet I’m a full-time student at CU Boulder with a flexible schedule. I typically have availability in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings around my classes. I do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine, and I’m often available on weekends as well. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to follow all care instructions closely and make sure your pet feels secure and well cared for. I provide regular updates with photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away
“Carli was so patient with my skittish pup. Went above and beyond with my dog, especially as he was not being the most welcoming for his first walk with her. She is very kind and I would recommend her to any pup parent!”

About: I have been the go to pet sitter for my neighbors and friends ever since I was a little kid. I have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits and other small animals. I have experience providing medical assistance for pets such as giving insulin shots to cats. I currently am a student at CU Boulder but am home in Centennial/Aurora on breaks and some weekends! When I am home from school, I will be available during the day to take care of your pets! I greatly care for each pet that I take care of. I will make sure your pet is doing well and is happy! I will send you as many updates and pictures of your pet as you like. It is important to me to make sure every pet owner knows that there pet is being well taken care of.

About: I am active, outdoorsy, and I will make your dog the center of my universe for as long as you need. I was raised around dogs, cats, and many random smaller pets, so I can handle just about anything. I frequently go on hikes and trail runs, and love to bring dogs with me. I’m currently unemployed and taking a break from classes, so I have near infinite free time this summer and can be there for your pet whenever you need. I live in a 4 bedroom apartment, but I live alone now so there is quite a lot of room. Given my overwhelming amount of free time I will treat your pet with the constant attention they crave.
About: I have had animals in my life since day one; I’ve had a variety of dogs in and out of my house for a long as I can remember. I am very versatile and have had experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, big and little dogs, calm or anxious dogs, reactive dogs and everything in between! Since school is out for the summer I am available to help out anytime! I am able to do sittings, walks and drop-ins at your convenience In a clients home I will treat their space and animal with the utmost respect and care. I intend to give their pet the love and attention they deserve and leave the home better than I found it

“J’Ana walked our dog twice per day for a week and it went so smoothly! Our dog was staying with my mom and J’Ana communicated with her to pick him up and drop him off for each walk. She walked him for 45+ min for each walk and sent the cutest pictures. We’re so grateful for her quick communication, professionalism, kindness and flexibility!”

“Sam is the best!! I have a timid dog who is wary of strangers, and he really put in the work to gain her trust. I feel 100% comfortable knowing that she’s in good hands on their walks, and she even pulls to go see him when we run into each other in public :)”

“Tina was prompt and communicated prior for meet and greet as well as showing up for Callie and keeping me informed as to how the walks went. I consider Tina to be very reliable and will entrust in her again to walk/sit Callie in the future.”

About: I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember and have always loved spending time with them. Over the years, I’ve gained a lot of experience caring for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Being around dogs has always come naturally to me, and I genuinely enjoy giving them attention, exercise, and companionship while their owners are away. I am currently a student taking online classes from home while also working a part-time job, so I spend a lot of time at home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day and make sure they feel comfortable and well looked after. I live in a house with a small yard and am across the street from a small park, with a much larger park only a few blocks away, which is great for walks and outdoor time. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for by giving them lots of attention, playtime, and regular potty breaks or walks. Since I spend a lot of time at home, pets will rarely be left alone for long periods and will always have someone around to keep them company and stick to their normal routine.

Lindsay has been wonderful with our pup, Hudson! She took the time to get to know Hudson before beginning his regular walks, which gave us great peace of mind and made the transition seamless. Hudson has a lot of energy and Lindsay does an excellent job ensuring he gets the exercise and activity he needs. She is also highly responsive, organized and proactive with scheduling, which we greatly appreciate. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
