About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13, primarily caring for cats and dogs. My experience includes dog walking, feeding, playtime, administering basic routines, and cleaning litter boxes. I’ve especially worked with older cats and dogs, so I understand the extra patience, attentiveness, and gentle care they often need. I also have two cats of my own back home, giving me firsthand experience in daily responsibilities and expectations of being a pet owner. Because of this, I’m very mindful about my care towards your pet! I’m currently a second-year, first-generation student at CU Boulder, balancing school and a Work-Study position. I’m generally available Thursday through Monday after 1 PM and can be flexible with advance notice. When I house sit I treat every home with respect, focusing on your pet while you’re away. I understand leaving your home and furry friend to a stranger can be worrisome so I do my best to comfort your pet and keep your space the way you like it.

Once the academic term begins, my availability will adjust as follows: I am available for full-day shifts every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as I have no academic commitments on those days. During the week, I am available Monday and Wednesday beginning at 1:00 PM for afternoon and evening shifts. While Tuesdays and Thursdays involve a heavier course load, I can still offer flexibility for early morning or late evening shifts when needed. In my home, pets are cared for in a safe, structured, and comfortable environment where they can relax and feel at ease. I have ample space for play and regular activity, including access to a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time. I keep a consistent routine for feeding, walks, and rest so pets feel secure and settled. I’m also able to crate pets when needed, whether for their comfort, safety, or to maintain their normal routine. I provide toys and enrichment activities to keep them engaged and stimulated, especially for higher-energy animals. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal schedule and environment as closely as possible. About: My love for animals exceeds my love for humans. I have always been the biggest animals person and have owned every animal in the book, from rodents to fish to mammals. I have raised multiple puppies to adulthood, both small dogs like Maltese, and large dogs like pit bulls. I am a renowned hamster sitter who even had baby hamsters at one point, and currently have three fish tanks in my college apartment. Point is I love animals and would love to hang out and give your pet the best time ever! I have a lot of time throughout my day. The longest I am out of the house for pre day is 2 hours for classes occasionally, but other than that I am home and bored. Pet care would easily fit into my schedule to ensure your pet has the best experience with me. Caring for pets in my home would be very simple as I would just aim to make them as comfortable and safe as possible. In terms of pet care at your home, I would be the best house sitter. About: Since I was about 9-10 I’ve cared for friend’s, family, and neighborhood dogs so I have had experience with taking care of dogs outside my own home. I’ve always been exposed to dogs my whole life coming from a dog loving family. I currently have 2 dogs which I care for, feed, walk, and love 24/7!! I am currently in school at CU Boulder. I have breaks throughout my schedule so your animals will not be home at any given time for too long. Since I live a 10 min walk from campus I can easily check in even during school days!! I have 1 cat at home who has never encountered dogs so any in my home services are preferred to be other cats who are friendly. I’m totally open for in client home care with cats and dogs of all ranges!!! I will easily follow your care instructions and give frequent updates :)

“I’d never used the app before but loved how easy it was for Sam to keep me updated both times he visited to walk our dog. Our dog is an old boy and can be a little defensive at times, and pretty slow-moving, but Sam was super patient with him. Sam walked him for a full 30 minutes and from what I can tell, he just let our dog take it slow, sniffing (and peeing on) all the things along the way, which is his absolute favorite thing to do. I’d recommend Sam for sure, and will ask him back if we ever need help with our pets again!”

I'm 27 years old and have owned dogs for the past 15 years and I've also been dog/cat sitting for the past 10 years! I love to go on long walks so if your dog is full of energy I'm your girl! Im also happy to take your dog to the park or to vet appointments as well if needed. I’d love to meet with you ahead of time to see if I'm a good fit for your dog or cat and to go over details. Also, I’m very flexible on my rates - depending on how much time you need me to spend with your dog/cat and how close you are to my house. I do charge an extra fee on top of my base prices if you live more than 8 miles from my home. This means I can also give a discount if you are close by! If you have any questions, I am happy to answer. Just shoot me a message and I’ll get back with you as soon as I can! Currently, I work at a restaurant part time and each shift is 5-6 hours so if your dog is unable to go 6 hours without a potty break, I might not be the best fit. You can rest assured that your dog will be taken care of since I know what’s it’s like to own my own dog and have to leave him whenever I go out of town.
