About: Hello! My name is Megan, and I recently received my master’s degree from CU Boulder. As I search for a full-time position, I have a flexible schedule and would love to spend some time helping care for your pets. My main goal of being on Rover is to gain experience with dogs so that I can be prepared to adopt my own someday! To help me gain confidence and comfortability for achieving that goal, I would work best with smaller size dogs. I’m also happy to spend time with older dogs that may just want some companionship, attention, and a calm presence while their owners are away. While I haven’t owned a dog myself, I’ve helped care for friends’ dogs over the years. I’m dependable, organized, and flexible with scheduling. I’d love to learn more about your pet and how I can help! I’m currently job searching, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time throughout the day and week for pet care. We can work something out and I will adjust my schedule as needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to follow the owner’s routine and instructions as closely as possible so their pet feels comfortable and cared for. I’m very mindful and respectful of household rules, including where I’m allowed in the home, feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific care instructions. I also make sure pets get attention, playtime, and companionship during my visit.
“Alyson is incredible! I loved that she did a meet and greet before the first walk. She asked great questions and learned about our two girls. We felt very comfortable knowing she would be checking in on them while we are out for the day. Would highly recommend!”
“Great Person, patient & kind dog walker, always responsible and on time. Kim helped me out nearly every day for two weeks while I recovered from surgery. She's easy to communicate with and a pleasure to greet at the door each day. Would definitely hire her again.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13, primarily caring for cats and dogs. My experience includes dog walking, feeding, playtime, administering basic routines, and cleaning litter boxes. I’ve especially worked with older cats and dogs, so I understand the extra patience, attentiveness, and gentle care they often need. I also have two cats of my own back home, giving me firsthand experience in daily responsibilities and expectations of being a pet owner. Because of this, I’m very mindful about my care towards your pet! I’m currently a second-year, first-generation student at CU Boulder, balancing school and a Work-Study position. I’m generally available Thursday through Monday after 1 PM and can be flexible with advance notice. When I house sit I treat every home with respect, focusing on your pet while you’re away. I understand leaving your home and furry friend to a stranger can be worrisome so I do my best to comfort your pet and keep your space the way you like it.
“Nina is great with our dog and Benny loves when she comes to play. She is always on time and stays for the exact amount of time as asked. Highly reliable. Extremely friendly. Definitely recommend.”

“I’d never used the app before but loved how easy it was for Sam to keep me updated both times he visited to walk our dog. Our dog is an old boy and can be a little defensive at times, and pretty slow-moving, but Sam was super patient with him. Sam walked him for a full 30 minutes and from what I can tell, he just let our dog take it slow, sniffing (and peeing on) all the things along the way, which is his absolute favorite thing to do. I’d recommend Sam for sure, and will ask him back if we ever need help with our pets again!”

About: I’ve spent my whole life surrounded by animals—growing up with five amazing dogs, two cats, and recently pet-sitting my brother’s cat and her litter of five kittens when I visit family. I’ve learned how to raise, train, and care for animals deeply and intentionally. When we had chickens, I remember training my dog to gently herd them back into the coop while my cat stood watch like a little guardian. I also recall how our dogs and cats would sense when one of my family members—whether my siblings, mom, dad, or grandma—was feeling down and would go over to comfort them. That’s when I realized how smart and intuitive animals can be when we trust and guide them. Over the years, I’ve gained experience dog-sitting for my mom’s friends, caring for my roommates’ cats, and providing care for a friend’s service dog. I’m comfortable with animals of all temperaments and needs, and I always approach each one as a unique soul with their own personality and rhythms. I also know how to bathe both dogs and cats with care and patience (yes, even the cats!). Whether it’s trail walks or quiet time at home, I’m here to ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and totally at ease. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to give your pet the time and attention they deserve—whether that’s outdoor adventures or simply being a calming presence. I work from home, so my schedule is incredibly flexible and I’m available throughout the week to care for your pets. I can stay at your home overnight, providing consistent care for both cats and dogs. I’m available for stays of any length and can provide both regular visits or extended care as needed. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand that leaving your pet in someone else’s care can be a big decision, and I’m committed to building trust by providing the best care possible. I’ll ensure your pets are always supervised, whether on hikes, at the dog park, or just enjoying time at home. I’m also committed to keeping their space clean and comfortable, with daily cleanup and a tidy environment, so they feel right at home. You can trust me to treat your pets with love, patience, and respect while ensuring they stay safe, happy, and relaxed in a familiar routine.
