About: As an experienced educator and animal lover, I provide thoughtful, trustworthy care and joyfully long sniffy walks for your best friend. I am also a devoted rescue dog mama! My dog, Patti, has taught me so much about building trust, reading canine body language, and helping anxious dogs feel safe and confident. Through caring for her, I’ve gained experience with positive reinforcement, maintaining routines, and understanding that every dog has their own personality and needs. Whether your pup is energetic and adventurous, or shy and slow to warm up, I’ll make sure they feel cared for, respected, and loved. I can’t wait to meet your baby! I’m currently fun-employed! I am taking some time off from teaching for the summer to spend time outdoors- caring for the land and animals. I am pursuing the art of the gleeful frolic! That is to say, my schedule is open and flexible :) I live in a ground floor apartment with a private fenced in patio and immediate access to a shared, unfenced yard. I live steps away from a pond and park where my dog loves to sniff, bound, and chase squirrels to no end. Patti and I hike Boulder trails together often and I know how she would love a companion! I am well-versed in following care instructions and am serious about respecting your dog’s health and safety plan to ensure everyone is happy, comfortable, and unharmed.

My dog gets excited as soon as we turn onto her street, and is always ready for a nap after a busy day of playing when she gets home. We have also done overnights and week-long boarding with Sara occasionally and it has been great. Sara is responsive and a pleasure to work with, sending pictures and updates on their play-dates. We’ll continue to be customers of hers for the foreseeable future!”

About: Hello! I’m a retired Special Education teacher. My passion is dogs and the care and training of dogs. When your furr baby is staying with me, she or he is my priority. I am patient, caring and truly want your furr baby to have a safe, engaging and fun time while in my care. I’d love to take your furr baby for walks and/ or give cuddles; as desired. I first became available on Rover in 2017, first working in California and now in Colorado. I work full-time at home and will give your sweet furr baby all the time, care and exercise he or she needs. I’m currently at home full-time. I have plenty of time for your furr baby Please schedule pickup & drop-off times between 7am - 9:30pm. Thank you. I have two dogs and two cats. One dog is a friendly, small-sized older dog. He is calm and will engage with your furr baby as much as they want. I also have a large breed female dog. She is sweet, curious and well-behaved. I have four available crates if you use crating. The cats have separate areas and mostly stay in their own room during dog boarding.

About: I’ve been involved with animals since I was a kid and have a few different dogs since I was born. I also have a cat! I am able to care for senior dogs and puppies as I’ve had them both living in my house, and am able to administer medication or follow any special feeding/medical schedule that your pet needs! I love caring for animals of all shape and size—I know how important and special each of your pets are. I am available to walk or let out at any time throughout the day as I am finished with school. I am happy to bring your dog to a dog park in my car or to just play with them in your backyard. I’m here to make your pet’s day better and yours easier! I can easily get a dog into a crate or car if needed and I am very good with introducing myself/caring for shy, skiddish animals.

I have a non-fenced in yard but an open grass areas where your dog can play with supervision. I live with three other girls that are home part time. I can accommodate any thing you or your dog needs. I have room for a bed and/or a crate.

About: I am a work from home professional with a 2 year old mini Bernadoodle. I recently had to say goodbye to our senior dog and am looking forward to sharing our large backyard and cute pup with some new furry friends. I work from home with a flexible schedule. Your pup will feel safe and comfortable with easy access to the backyard and mid-day walks. We have a cute, fun 2 year old mini Bernadoodle who loves to play and nap during the day. There is a dog door to a large fenced in backyard.

About: I’ve been in love with dogs since I can remember, and my favorite type of work/volunteering has always involved them. When I was 15 I started dog sitting for my family friend, I watched and walked little Johnny twice a week for almost 2 years while his mom was out doing errands. After that, I started volunteering at the LoveJoy Foundation, an animal rescue in California. I walked dogs, cleaned crates, and even helped with vaccinations once a week at adoption events! My time at LoveJoy was one of the most rewarding experiences ever, and it taught me how to work with different types of dogs and different behaviors, including neurodivergent and disabled pups. I have a family dog of my own, sweet Montana, who will always be my best friend no matter how far apart we are. Montana is a bit older now, so we mostly enjoy hanging out on the couch together, but in his prior years I loved taking him on hikes, to the dog beach, and really anywhere that I went. I also have a crested gecko named Axel! I’m currently a junior at CU Boulder, so I do have school during the week but only for about 2-3 hours each day, most of the time I’m home to care for a pup! I absolutely love being outside here in Boulder, it’s too beautiful not to be, so walks and adventures are plentiful! I have a large house for your pup to roam around, but if it’s preferred that he stays in a crate during the day I can accommodate that too! My yard isn’t fenced, but we would have a lot of outside time at the park and on walks exploring all corners of Boulder. I do have experience dog sitting in client’s homes, I know that some dogs are probably more comfortable staying in their own home!
