About: I grew up around dogs and have been dog sitting since as early as I can remember. I have a 1 year old, very well trained, golden retriever who plays well with other dogs. We stay very active & go on 1+ hour walks at least once a day. If you choose me I can guarantee you that your dog will be very active, outside constantly, & in a very diligent environment. Please reach out anytime! I will take your dog to Chataqua park every day for a walk and catch out in the field, I work part time (1 day per week), but other than that my schedule is wide open! I personally like to keep my dog very active, & outside more hours than most on a daily basis. If you choose me I can guarantee you the same treatment for your dog. I keep a very clean space in my apartment, free from any human food scraps, or anything that can harm a dog. My dog sleeps in a large sized kennel, & I have 2 spare kennels to keep other dogs in. Your dogs only time in the kennel will be to sleep, & will never spend longer than 8 hours in there at a time (I set alarms and timers to make sure of that).

About: Please read: I am in the process of switching to pet care in my home. I will not accept anymore housesitting requests. I will start accepting boarding and day care requests for February and beyond. I will continue to accept drop in and walk requests. Please be patient while I adjust my profile to reflect this change. This is new territory for me and I'm excited to work with you! What sets me apart is my diverse experience and personal touch. I’ve been a full-time dog mom for 5 years, worked at a doggy day camp and boarding facility for a year and a half, and have been active on Rover for 2 years. I’m experienced with both large and small breeds, seniors and puppies, aggressive pets, and administering medication. I provide reliable, compassionate care tailored to each pet’s needs, and I’m very communicative with pet parents, keeping them updated every step of the way. I am happy to do a one time booking or regular bookings. Pet care is a crucial part of my daily routine with my toy Australian Shepherd, who needs plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Each morning, I take her for a long walk, incorporating training exercises to keep her engaged. During the week, we enjoy hiking to explore new trails and environments together. This commitment to her needs is a rewarding part of my life. For safety, I will keep my dog in my bedroom and your dog in my living room, and they will be crated when I'm away. It is impossible to predict how two dogs will be together, especially in a new environment. It is crucial that your dog is comfortable sleeping in a kennel and being alone for a few hours without whining. Because I have a dog, I have plenty of toys, treats, and a kennel already, but you're welcome to bring your own. I also recommend bringing an article of clothing they can keep in the kennel to have a familiar scent. Right now, I specialize in caring for dogs with separation anxiety while their parents are out to dinner, at work, or running errands, and this is by far my favorite form of pet care so far. When staying at a client’s home, I prioritize creating a safe and loving environment for their pets. I follow their routines closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, and playtime. I ensure that the pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and mental stimulation throughout the day. Additionally, I maintain clear communication with pet parents, sending updates and photos to keep them informed about their pets' well-being. My goal is to make their pets feel secure and happy while they are away. The safety of your pets is my top priority. I ensure that all doors and gates are securely closed to prevent escapes, and I use leashes during walks to maintain control. If there are any specific hazards in the home or yard, I will take precautions to keep your pets away from those areas. I also supervise playtime closely, especially if there are multiple pets, to prevent any potential conflicts. Furthermore, I am experienced in reading animal body language, which helps me identify any signs of stress or discomfort. My goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment where your pets can thrive while you’re away.
