Live, Love, Rescue
My family (husband, daughter (19), son (16) and I LOVE animals and in addition to our own rescue Bindi (she passed in February 2025), we have been fostering dogs for the last 10 years. Fostering has brought immense joy to us and taught us how to care for all kinds of dogs and handle a variety of issues. **Also we only take ONE DOG at a time.** Love, structure and exercise and then some more love can bring out the best in any dog!

As soon as we met Celia for the first time we could sense that she is truly someone special. And our pup Bennie shared that feeling. He immediately felt right at home with her. Celia took such wonderful care of Bennie and sent us pictures and let us know how he was doing. We so much hope that he can stay with her again and we know Bennie would love to as well!! Celia and Mark were wonderful watching Bailey while we explored the Boulder area! They sent us picture updates with Bailey feeling relaxed in their home. They are definitely Star Sitters!
Great accommodations with a yard and run of the house. Watson felt right at home and came back relaxed.

Celia and Mark took excellent care of my dog, Winston! He has separation anxiety so I was quite nervous to leave him with someone else but they handled it beautifully! He got a lot of play time and a walk, and loved running around in their yard. Celia and Mark kept me updated with pictures and videos so I knew he was doing well. I highly recommend them!
Thanks to Celia and MArk for taking such good care of Eddie. They sent pictures of Eddie lying in the sun, or getting cozy with them on the couch...under a blanket. She seemed to so happy. It's such a nice feeling to know that your dog is not missing you!

Schedule
My husband works from home full-time and I am home full time. Neighborhood walks are lovely. If your dog is up hikes we will hit the trails. If dog parks are more their speed we have plenty of options to choose from. Or if hanging out in our yard feels best we we'll go with that.

We are happy to give your dog free range in our house. If your pet prefers a crate please just bring that for their stay. We have a fully fenced yard for your dog to run around.

We have a great yard for all kinds of play whether it's just running around or chasing a ball and we love to walk around downtown Boulder.
