I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! I've spent over a decade caring for pets and volunteering at animal shelters, and I love getting to know each animal's unique personality and figuring out what makes them feel comfortable and happy. Over the years, I've cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, and more, including senior pets and pets with medical or behavioral needs. At the shelter, I've taught classes on handling small animals, trained new volunteers, and worked as a camp counselor teaching kids how to safely interact with animals. I've also received extensive training in animal body language, behavior, and safe handling. I grew up with dogs and a rabbit and now have two cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets while you're away. My apartment won't let me have any more pets, so I'd love the chance to give yours some extra love and attention! Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just having someone nearby, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for.

I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine, respect your home, and make sure they receive the attention, exercise, and care they need. Sydney was great with our pup. She was patient and appreciative of his "particularities." She's a longtime volunteer with the Humane Society, so her commitment was obvious.
Sydney was our preferred dog sitter for a few years before she moved to Colorado! She clearly adores dogs, and was a volunteer at an animal shelter, so she knows her way around all types of animals. Ours is a small, anxious dog, and we always felt very comfortable with her in Sydney's care. Sydney both stayed at our house, and watched our dog at her own house, and both worked well depending on the situation. Sydney is reliable and communicative, and we wish we could still use her services! Your pet will love Sydney.

Schedule
I'm a graduate student, so my schedule looks different each day, but is more flexible than the typical 9-to-5! I build pet care into my weekly routine and have availability throughout the day. I'm happy to work with you to find times that fit your schedule and your pet's needs!
