“Sue has been a fantastic find! She lives nearby, is a great communicator and my dog enjoys her company. Very glad to have found Sue to help with the occasional dog walk for ski days.”

“Holly is awesome. She was great because she came over in advance and met with chief just so I could feel good about it and probably so she and chief could feel good about it. She was prompt and gave him great walks.”

About: I have always been somewhat of a dog whisperer. Love getting to know each of their personalities and learning their routines, coming down to their level gain trust and form a relationship. I enjoying getting outside and making sure they can get their exercise. I’m a cellist, so most of my days are spent practicing and going to rehearsals/teaching in the larger Boulder area. Most of my mornings are very free. I love going on walks with dogs, taking them to the dog park and socializing them with other dogs, using positive reinforcement to form and maintain good habits and everything in between. Care in your home is also important to me. I want to make sure you can have piece of mind that not only will you pet be taken care of but your home as well.
“Kristen has been fabulous with our dog! She’s often available last minute, and puts in the extra effort to play with him even when he’s resistant to a longer walk.”
“Luka lived Joanie!! She was a trooper with taking him for out scheduled walks in subzero temperatures. She also gave home plenty of love and treats! Can’t wait to book her again!”

“Jess is the best! She is punctual and communicative, and took such great care of my pup, Kevin. In particular, Jess was really attentive and followed the routine I’ve been trying to establish with Kevin. Jess truly loves animals and is dog dad’s dream! Thanks so much Jess!”

About: My parents have had dogs my whole life and I’ve watched family members and friends animals many times! I love all animals and would treat your pets like my own! I’m currently staying with a family member, with lots of time to walk dogs! When I do start my job, it will only be 3 days per week, so I’ll still have plenty of time to do this on the side. I love animals and will treat yours as my own! Since i’m staying at a family members home currently, I’m not able to watch animals in my home. I am happy to come to your house and walk them though.

About: I love animals but I unfortunately travel too much to have pets. I understand that pets need attention and care which is why I don’t have one for myself but I would love to support other pets and make sure pets are getting the care they need. Im like the cool aunt for pets. I grew up in a house with lots of cats and dogs and have done a few dog siting jobs here and there. Your pets will be in great care with me. I’m great at walking! Just finished walking 2000+ miles from Mexico to Canada. I’m currently working at Snowbird and have very limited hours at the beginning of the season. I should have lots of days off available to provide care. I am aware of safety when walking I will make sure your pet is not close to the road or any danger. I will also make sure your pet doesn’t get away. Growing up I had a dog that loved to run away and I’m very aware of how dogs/cats can be when getting out of the house.
“Joy has been wonderful for our young black lab, River! Our meet and greet went great, and she asked good questions. She’s willing to take River on longer adventures/walks, which we appreciate. She had her first walk with River today and our pup was so happy (and tired!) when we got home. Thanks so much for your help, Joy:)”

About: Hi, I am Tigran. I started and run a dog rescue in Colorado called Havok's Wolfpack. I help dogs in high kill shelters of neighboring states find great new homes in Colorado. I am currently living in the South East park Boulder. I regularly host foster dogs so my home isn't a dog-free environment when I'm not sitting through Rover. All of my foster dogs are friendly. I run my organisation remotely, so I have ultimate flexibility for dog care, walks and attention. Currently fully available. Will be able to respond within an hour. I explore new hikes and dog walks multiple times a day. Your pup will be extremely happy every time I show up. I travel to clients homes and have no issues handling the biggest and most energetic dogs. Happy to accommodate owners requests when it comes to handling dogs.

About: Hi, I'm Eric! I'm currently taking a break from college with plans to return, but for now I'm pursuing my passion since childhood which has always been caring for animals. I have experience from PetSmart and the Humane Society walking, feeding, cleaning and looking after pets of all kinds, and I treat every pet like family. I keep a flexible schedule, so I'm reliably available for walks and sits. Happy to set up a meet and greet beforehand if you'd like to get acquainted first! I watch dogs of all sizes and cats too, and I'll make sure your pet gets the attention they deserve. Let me know about any allergies or special needs so I can take great care of them! I keep a flexible schedule, so I'm reliably available for walks and sits from Mon - Wed and Friday to Saturday. Would love to set up a meet and greet beforehand so I can get a clear picture of how to take care of your fur baby! I'm big on routine and communication. Before a stay or visit, I like to talk through the pet's schedule, favorite toys, any anxieties, and emergency info with the owner. Once I'm caring for them, I stick to their normal feeding and walk schedule as closely as possible, give them plenty of attention and exercise, and send photo updates so owners never have to wonder how their pet's doing. I'm also careful about home safety — secure doors/gates, no unsupervised access to anything risky, and I always have emergency vet info on hand.
About: My 10 years in pet care experience has allowed me to gain a great understanding of what your pet needs in order to feel safe and loved while an owner is away from home. Pet Care is a full time love, and a full time job for me! Available 7 days a week to ensure your pet feels safe and well taken care of. Safety is my top priority. Learning your pets actions and behavior is crucial for me. Upon first visit I spend a great amount of time playing and analyzing your pets actions to better ensure a safe environment.
About: I have been in the dog world for most of my life. I grew up with a champion English cocker spaniel and had a litter of puppies. I had to bathe and take care of the puppies as well as the dogs. I have been a dog groomer since 2010. I have worked at petco and have owned my own dog grooming business for since 2017. I hope to meet some cute dogs and help out some people who can’t be with the dogs during the day or while on vacation. If you need your dog to be groomed before you return then we can arrange that as well. I have a business but would like to help out when possible. I live in gunbarrel near boulder and can be made available if agreed upon. I live in a condo but we have amble trails to take long walks. If I come to your home I can do whatever is helpful within reason.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
