“Page Danielle was very attentive to the needs of my pet and did a fabulous job of feeding and checking on my guy! I will definitely keep her in mind for the future. We noticed that he was more relaxed and less stressed out from getting him from the kennel.”

“Randi has been great with our reactive dog Lily. She’s athletic and enjoys walking her (even though she can be a pain). She also took great care of her when we were out of town. Sent lots of updates, followed directions, and our dog was happy when we came home. I recommend her!”

“Amber did an amazing job watching my two cats, Meeko and Sputnik! She kept me updated with daily messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that she took great care of them and made sure they felt comfortable and loved. I came home to two happy kitties. I highly recommend Amber for anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

About: I’ve taken care of lots of different animals over the years. I’ve taken care of all ages of dogs from less than a year old to senior. I also owned animals my whole life so I have plenty of experience! I also have experience with dogs with anxiety so I can always handle that! I am currently a college student in the medical assistant program, but I have classes that are no longer than 3 hours long, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I am currently in college so I do not offer to board pets at the moment, unfortunately! I would love to come meet your pets!
“Katie was absolutely wonderful & my boys took to her right away! She gave them lots of love & attention. She was super prompt & sent great pics! Just so grateful to Katie, I knew they were in good hands. We would definitely refer Katie to others & would definitely use her again! ❤️”

“She was fantastic! Very communicative and took great care of my crew while I was out of town. 🙂 Everything went smoothly and I came home to some happy pups! I’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.”

About: I volunteer and foster with Black Dog Animal Rescue, including cat care and dog walking. I am able to give insulin shots and medications. I can also take care of birds. I have worked with animal rescues most of my life and have patience and understanding of animals boundaries. I have a fairly flexible schedule and can work with you about visits and/or walks. I do work weekend evenings, but most Sundays and weekdays I am available at your disposal! I will work with you to understand your routines and preferences to make sure your pet is comfortable with me and accommodate anything your pet needs

“I am a nervous dog mom and I hate leaving my pup when I have to travel. He is old with health issues. That being said Morgan was absolutely wonderful and I didn’t worry once. She was communicative with texts and pictures and she took great care of my guy and our house. She followed my instructions to the t. I will be booking with her again with no hesitation. Thank you Morgan!”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs over the years. My friends and neighbors have asked me to walk them or house sit for their dogs many times. On weekends I have a lot of free time during the day and it could be very useful to be outside and interact with different dogs. A fenced yard in the back for them to have fun and for them to take care of their business. We have play toys that they love to play with.
“I don’t even know where to begin. Tarryn is an absolute gem and our fur babies ADORE her! Communication is quick and concise. She sent a picture when our doggo got settled into her home and little updates throughout their time together. Our doggo is a big love bug and she embraced that entirely! She checked on our home and our kitties too. I had complete peace leaving her in charge of our fur babies and home while we were away and I will not hesitate to contact her again and again! 100/10 recommend!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Cheyenne
Mariah has been so great watching Poppy. She really pays attention to detail and gives very thorough updates. I felt completely at ease with her watching my kitty. She’s knowledgeable, considerate, and trustworthy. Hoping I get a bit of a break from all my traveling but when the times comes, I’ll definitely call on Mariah!

Michelle was great walking our big girl while we were out of town for 2 weeks. Our dog seemed quite content on her walks. Michelle was very good to send pics & check in. She also paid great attention to the crazy weather we had while we were gone, and adjusted walks accordingly. Our other caretaker said the Ariah got so excited when Michelle came to take her on her walks. That's a pretty good review.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cheyenne. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
