Our Golden Retriever had a great time staying with Kajsa and her family. She was very responsive to our communication, sent regular updates and he seemed to really enjoy playing with the other dogs at the house. I would recommend her without hesitation and we would be happy to have him stay with her in the future.

Katie took excellent care of our dogs. One has separation anxiety and she gave her tons of love as she adjusted to our vacation. She sent comments and photos multiple times each day to assure us they were doing well. She took them for walks in the pasture, which they thoroughly enjoyed.

We had such a wonderful experience! She took amazing care of our pups while we were away and gave us complete peace of mind. She sent us photos every day, kept us updated on how they were doing, and was always quick to respond whenever we reached out. It was clear that she genuinely cared for our dogs and treated them like they were her own. They were happy, well cared for, and loved while we were gone. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and caring dog sitter. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our babies!

Richard was very eager to make sure my pup was comfortable. We have a 2 year old pittie/cattle dog and he loved Richard’s very spacious yard! I also love that Richard’s home is in a peaceful spot tucked back in the countryside. He communicated with us very well and I trusted his experience with dogs quite a bit. Would certainly stay again!

Alexandra took in our dogs when we needed a VERY last minute sitter, and she was great. She sent updates and picture. It looked like our puppers were at a resort - they loved the windows and the sofas - so many ways to enjoy the sunshine! We appreciate her willingness to step up, and we are grateful for the care she gave!

About: I love to go hiking and play with different dogs. Dogs always need to get out instead of staying in their cage all day what’s a better way then hiring someone to help you out I am in the military but have a pretty decent schedule I have weekends off and usually get off around 2 but 4 by the latest I am always super playful with the different animals and always make sure they have what they need. And sometimes if they don’t wanna play and just cuddle then that’s fine by me

My fur-babies stayed with Jessica for a few hours on a rather stressful cross-country drive while we did a day adventure. She has a cute little place across the street from a massive park/green space and my boys got some chill time instead of car time. We had an unconventional stay request, and she accommodated us so easily.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs who need a little extra patience and support. I’m comfortable with large breeds, high-energy dogs, and those who may need a slower, calmer approach. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I have experience reinforcing basic training like leash manners, crate training, and simple commands such as sit, stay, and recall. For puppies, I focus on consistency and positive reinforcement to help maintain the routines you’ve worked hard to establish. For senior dogs, I provide gentle care, slower-paced walks, and close attention to comfort and mobility needs. What Sets Me Apart What makes me different is the level of attention and communication I provide. I treat every pet like family, not just a booking. You can expect regular updates, photos, and honest communication so you always know how your pet is doing. I’m dependable, patient, and detail-oriented. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special routines your pet relies on. Whether your dog needs extra exercise, extra structure, or extra cuddles, I adjust my care to fit their personality and needs. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. 🐾 I work from home and I am available any day of the week. I can do walks or drop in visits anytime of the day. I am flexible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on creating a calm, structured, and secure environment where they can relax and feel at ease. In My Home: I provide a clean, pet-safe space free of hazards, with plenty of room to rest and play. Pets are always supervised, and introductions (if applicable) are done slowly and carefully. I follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, crate use, walk times, and bedtime habits to reduce stress and keep things consistent. Fresh water is always available, and I monitor behavior closely to ensure they’re comfortable and adjusting well. In Your Home (Drop-Ins/House Sitting): I respect your space and maintain your pet’s routine exactly as instructed. I ensure doors, gates, and crates are securely closed, leashes are properly fitted before walks, and pets are never left unattended in unsafe situations. After each visit, I double-check that everything is locked and secure. You’ll receive regular updates and photos for peace of mind. I’m attentive, detail-oriented, and proactive. If something seems off, changes in appetite, behavior, or energy; I communicate immediately. My goal is for you to feel completely confident that your pet is safe, cared for, and genuinely loved while you’re away.

Stephen took great care of freyja and sent pupdates with pictures multiple times a day. We plan on using him again for when we travel and maybe even doggy daycare while we’re at work. She came home tired from playing with other dogs. We’re super happy with the experience. 😊

Elizabeth and Wesley were so easy to deal with. They allowed a meet and greet and were as nice as could be. They were flexible on both ends as our flights changed at the beginning and our flights were very late on our return. Abby was happy when we picked her up and looked very well cared for. It was good social time for her as well. We will definitely rebook with them. Great experience!

We had a medical emergency and she took care of both of our puppies since my husband is an OTR trucker and we do not live locally. She kept us well informed and sent lots of pictures and updates. We feared they would be sad to come home because she spoiled them so much. She was the biggest blessing in a stressful time!

Dillan took in my two dogs at relatively short notice. She kept me updated with photos and videos so I did not need to worry about how the dogs were settling in. There was a particularly cute photo of Quinn cuddled up with Dillan’s little girl on the couch.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Cheyenne home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in WY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
