“I was worried because our Gunnar is still in his puppy phase. He received outstanding care and came home tired every night. When I need doggie daycare again, I will certainly choose Wes and Kimberly. Thank you for taking such good care of our boy!”

“She responded within minutes. We had an emergency where we needed someone to watch our baby girl for a couple of hours. It was a short notice and Christine saved the day. Thanks again.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Always loved all animals but dogs really are my favorite. I’ve had them as pets and cared for them for others for decades. When I used to deliver pizzas people always commented how their dogs didn’t usually like men or people or any number of other reasons but they were surprised how much their dog seemed to like me. Eventually I may own a doggy day care, and would love to actually start a rescue for animals. I’m currently pretty flexible. I wax recently disabled and was unemployed while waiting for surgery. Now no longer disabled but have plenty of flexibility to cover many needs your furry family member may have. I recently lost a lot of weight by just walking so I’d love to continue to get my steps in with your dogs. Dogs would be welcome to come to my house where I do have two elderly big boys of my own. They generally are froendly but if your dog is high energy it may not be a good fit. My oldest one is literally the guy to tell hyper dogs to get off his lawn
“Thank you Katie for watching Judge in short notice, so I could complete job interviews, while traveling from out of town. You saved the day ! I can tell Judge had a great day. He is calm and happy?????aWe rate you 5 puppies !!!”

About: I have experience in administration of all sorts of medications, including insulin shots. I have always had success with potty and crate training. I have provided senior care for animals, as well as them slowing down and ready to cross that rainbow bridge. I am available 24/7 being as my day to day position allows for some flexibility. I do not leave town very often, so always available. I care for my animals as if they are my babies, because they are! I am always talking to them, which can be pretty comical. I believe in positive reinforcement for all animals - praising and treats when completing something they’re learning or doing good. No hitting of ANY animal. Pretty sure they believe this is their place & i simply live here, too.

I’m available on the weekends for boarding but weekdays I’m available to walk your dog. I love walking them after I get off work. It gets my mind off things. I live in apartments, but I have a lot of grass for dogs. Use the potty and I have also two dogs at home to make your fur baby company.
“I really appreciate having Lindsey as a sitter! I have an older dog who would get anxious to the point of physical exhaustion at other dog sitters and commercial boarding places. It got to the point where one time I went to pick her up and she literally could not walk. Lindsey has senior dog experience and is home most of the time, which gives me confidence that my dog will have someone around to keep her company and won't get too anxious or worried. She's also been helpful in working with me on getting my dog acclimated to her house and easing her into the new environment. I'm very thankful for having an experienced and caring sitter to look after my dog!”
The median cost per day for doggy day care in Cheyenne is $30
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cheyenne
I honestly cannot say enough great things about our dog sitter! Jillian, Leaving your dog with someone else can always be stressful, but from the moment we met, I knew our pup was in amazing hands. They treated our dog like family, gave constant updates, pictures, and made sure he was loved, cared for, and comfortable the entire time. You can truly tell they have a genuine love for animals and go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Coming home to a happy, well cared for dog gave us so much peace of mind. It’s rare to find someone you trust completely with your fur baby, and we are beyond grateful to have found that here. If you’re looking for someone dependable, caring, trustworthy, and who will love your dog like their own, I cannot recommend them enough. Absolutely 10/10 we will definitely be using them on going!

I was a little worried about leaving our 5 month old GSP puppy since he can be a bit much. Liz was happy to let us work week by week to make sure it meets our needs as well as hers. When he comes home after his day with Liz and friends, he sleeps very soundly! He is definately getting the care and interaction that we are hoping for.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Cheyenne commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
