“Gabby is trustworthy, reliable, and an awesome cat sitter. I appreciated her communication and photos. I felt at ease while away for work and was so relieved to have a great person to rely on in a new town.”

“Randi has been great with our reactive dog Lily. She’s athletic and enjoys walking her (even though she can be a pain). She also took great care of her when we were out of town. Sent lots of updates, followed directions, and our dog was happy when we came home. I recommend her!”

“Heather is absolutely amazing. Very caring and loving to our dogs. We hire Heather for drop in visits. She plays with them, feeds them and more and she does a great job. I recommend using her for your dog sitting needs.”

“Mariah was amazing! She accommodated our last minute request to do drop in on Kramer. He’s a senior dog and she did great with his grumpiness 🤣 she sent updates with pictures each time that were wonderful to read and put us at ease”

“Natasha has proven to be dependable, trustworthy and reliable. She communicates very clearly about how the cats are doing at each visit. I feel very comfortable with her coming to our home and taking care of our cats when we are away.”

“Michelle is great! She kept us updated even though we were having some with the trouble with the website. Our cat obviously liked her from the start and was comfortable with the care visits.”

“Page Danielle was very attentive to the needs of my pet and did a fabulous job of feeding and checking on my guy! I will definitely keep her in mind for the future. We noticed that he was more relaxed and less stressed out from getting him from the kennel.”

“She was fantastic! Very communicative and took great care of my crew while I was out of town. 🙂 Everything went smoothly and I came home to some happy pups! I’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life so I know what to expect. I’ve helped to take care of senior dogs as well as assisted with training puppies. I have taken care of our family dog during the week so I understand the time demand that an animal takes. I am available mostly on the weekends and on some weekdays. I will not be able to care for pets in my home at this time. I will work with owners to take care of their pets exactly how they would and make sure the pets get the attention they need.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Always loved all animals but dogs really are my favorite. I’ve had them as pets and cared for them for others for decades. When I used to deliver pizzas people always commented how their dogs didn’t usually like men or people or any number of other reasons but they were surprised how much their dog seemed to like me. Eventually I may own a doggy day care, and would love to actually start a rescue for animals. I’m currently pretty flexible. I wax recently disabled and was unemployed while waiting for surgery. Now no longer disabled but have plenty of flexibility to cover many needs your furry family member may have. I recently lost a lot of weight by just walking so I’d love to continue to get my steps in with your dogs. Dogs would be welcome to come to my house where I do have two elderly big boys of my own. They generally are froendly but if your dog is high energy it may not be a good fit. My oldest one is literally the guy to tell hyper dogs to get off his lawn

About: My animal care background spans over 10 years and includes working with dogs, cats, puppies, senior dogs, horses, livestock, poultry, waterfowl, and fish. I have a B.S. in Rangeland Management, high school and college animal science coursework, and an agricultural background through FFA and 4-H. I am known for being reliable, thorough, and communicative. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your pet needs walks, feeding, medication support, playtime, or extra patience, I will provide attentive and dependable care while keeping you updated along the way. I am a teacher, so my availability changes slightly depending on the school year. During the summer, I have full availability for pet sitting, drop-ins, and walks. During the school year, I am available on weekdays before 7:30 a.m. and after 4:00 p.m. I also have full-day availability on weekends year-round. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent and their environment safe. I carefully follow all care instructions, make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure as needed, and treat each home with respect. I also provide clear communication and updates so owners can feel confident their pets are safe and well cared for.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Cheyenne
Mariah went above and beyond taking care of my babies. She gave Gable her pill, probiotic, and spent plenty of time with them so they'd feel loved. She realized Gable was hogging the food because Orion is a scaredy cat, and made sure he still got a little wet food on his own. Dry food, fountain, and litter robot were checked. I completely trust her with my little fur babies.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cheyenne. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
