About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life so I know what to expect. I’ve helped to take care of senior dogs as well as assisted with training puppies. I have taken care of our family dog during the week so I understand the time demand that an animal takes. I am available mostly on the weekends and on some weekdays. Eventually I may own a doggy day care, and would love to actually start a rescue for animals. I’m currently pretty flexible. I wax recently disabled and was unemployed while waiting for surgery. Now no longer disabled but have plenty of flexibility to cover many needs your furry family member may have. I recently lost a lot of weight by just walking so I’d love to continue to get my steps in with your dogs. Dogs would be welcome to come to my house where I do have two elderly big boys of my own. In My Home: I provide a clean, pet-safe space free of hazards, with plenty of room to rest and play. Pets are always supervised, and introductions (if applicable) are done slowly and carefully. I follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, crate use, walk times, and bedtime habits to reduce stress and keep things consistent. Fresh water is always available, and I monitor behavior closely to ensure they’re comfortable and adjusting well. In Your Home (Drop-Ins/House Sitting): I respect your space and maintain your pet’s routine exactly as instructed. I ensure doors, gates, and crates are securely closed, leashes are properly fitted before walks, and pets are never left unattended in unsafe situations. After each visit, I double-check that everything is locked and secure. You’ll receive regular updates and photos for peace of mind. I’m attentive, detail-oriented, and proactive. If something seems off, changes in appetite, behavior, or energy; I communicate immediately. My goal is for you to feel completely confident that your pet is safe, cared for, and genuinely loved while you’re away.
