About: I have cared for pups to elderly dogs. I mostly worked with large dogs, and I currently have a Black Mouth Cur and a Boxer mix. We also did have a Doberman. With taking some time off of work, I have weekdays during the day available. I am available most days Monday through Sunday during the days. I utilize treats and leases to make sure your dog is safe with me. I believe in positive reinforce and have been through many dog training classes that use this thinking.

About: I grew up working at my parents dog kennel that was attached to our house. I took care of dogs, cats, birds, and occasionally rodents. I would help my parents scoop the yard, clean the kennels, and walk the dogs since I was 8. I now own a beautiful dog of my own who is the light of my life. For the last three years, I lived with three dogs of varying ages and sizes and helped to administer medications, train, love them equally. I would now love to be a part of your pet's lives too. I currently work part time and will have plenty of time to accommodate your pet's needs as long as the expectations are discussed prior and clearly to ensure a successful sitting experience. I am often told that dogs and cats quickly feel comfortable with me. If they are outgoing, I love to pet and play with them, if they are shy, then I am good at offering interactions while still giving the pet their space.

Both of my dogs are given oral medications daily and have fish oil added to their evening meals. One of my dogs is a very picky eater, so all of his meals involve mixing wet and dry food. I also recently lost a 20 year old cat who required daily oral medications, a special type of kitty litter, and injectable subcutaneous fluids routinely. I also regularly care for a diabetic cat who requires injectable insulin at specific times every morning and evening. My snake usually gets fed frozen mice (that have been warned up).

I’ll always follow any instructions you leave to make sure your pet gets the best care possible, whether that means giving medication at a specific time, sticking to a certain walking schedule, or changing the litter box daily. About: Since I was a baby, I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs, learning to care for them from a young age. From feeding and playing to understanding their unique personalities, my love for animals has always been central to who I am. I pay close attention to each pet’s needs, sticking to their routine to reduce any stress from being away from their family. I make sure they have fresh water along with any food asked to be given by caregiver, and engaging playtime that matches their energy level. Over the years, I have done plenty of pet sitting gigs for friends but just recently downloaded Rover! Thought this would be a good way to make some cash on the side while I'm on that grad school grind since I love pets! I'm a born and raised Minnesotan so I'm not afraid to walk your pup outside in the freezing cold months of the year! Did dog agility and obedience competitions for years growing up as well! Grew up with my own cats and dogs and really don't have a favorite breed. Currently in between jobs so have no restricting schedule besides the days I've marked as unavailable.
