Our old guy is having some health struggles and is probably nearing the end of his life. During this hard time, it has been such a gift to know that Stacy is being attentive to his needs, and on the days that he can, still getting him out to enjoy some fresh air. Couldn’t be more thankful for her!

About: I have been pet sitting since the age of 10. I know all care from puppies to senior dogs. Same with kittens to senior cats! Even with a full 8:30am–5pm Monday–Friday schedule, I make pet care a priority. I’m consistently available for early morning, evening, overnight, and weekend visits—so pets stay on their routine and get reliable, attentive care every time. I do live in an apartment so boarding isn’t available. I can easily crate your dog if need be, let him or her out to play, and play with them indoors as well. I can also help with meds if they are needed.

About: Like many people here, I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I have helped train both family/friends pets with patience or redirecting behavior rather than relying on punishment. I am a treat heavy household so please let me know of any dietary restrictions! As for why I want help take care of your fur babies, iv promised myself to keep my menagerie at a minimum. I would love to incorporate some new fur friends into my daily routine. I'm more that happy to schedule meet and greets to see if I'm a good fir for you and your family! I'm usually free all day Sunday through Wednesday with the occasional errand runs throughout the day. I'm more than willing to work my schedule around your needs. As for Thursday through Saturday, I will be at work in the afternoons and evenings with fur babys being alone for about 7-8 hours (if they are staying with me or need drop by visits) In my home visits: I will provide walks, outside time in the back yard, and dog park excursions (if permitted). I will also incorporate feeding schedules, medication and any other personal requirements that are needed. Communication is key! In your home visits: I will provided walks on each visit (unless otherwise discussed) scheduled feedings and play/snuggle time. I would prefer not to do overnights unless I can bring my dog with me and all pets get along with in your home.

About: I have experience with puppies and kitties and have also cared for those in their golden years. I looked after a senior dog that had congestive heart failure and would give that dog medications daily. While watching your pets, I love spending time with them doing simple training, either teaching them manners or keeping them from peeing in the house! I'm switching jobs so not working right now but would love to spend my time working with your pets. I'm free in the afternoons after 12 into the evening until 8. I'm not able to work Sundays. I would only be able to watch over your pet at your home. I live in a small apartment and feel like most pets like the safety of their own home while their people are gone!

About: I've been a proud dog mom for over 17 years and have shared my home with as many as three wonderful pups at once. My experience includes caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies who are still learning the ropes to senior dogs who need a little extra patience, attention, and specialized care. Since I work from home, I'm able to provide consistent supervision, reinforce training routines, and accommodate frequent potty breaks or extra exercise. I'm also comfortable administering oral medications and will happily follow your dog's regular schedule to help them feel safe, happy, and at home while you're away. I work full-time from home, which means your dog will enjoy plenty of companionship, attention, and supervised outdoor play throughout the day. Whether it's frequent potty breaks, playtime in the yard, walks around the neighborhood, or relaxing indoors, I'll make sure your pup feels comfortable and well cared for. I'm available for both weekday and weekend bookings and look forward to giving your dog a safe, loving home while you're away. I have a fully fenced yard in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood where dogs have plenty of room to safely run, play, and explore. Your pup will also have the company of my friendly 3½-year-old retriever mix, who loves making new furry friends and is always happy to share toys, playtime, or simply relax alongside another dog. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and fun home-away-from-home where your dog will receive lots of attention, exercise, and affection.

About: Hello, my name is Miranda Rosedale. I am a pet mom who has a husky named Dakota. I have adopted and watched dogs since I was young. ☻ I know how to deal with: - older dogs - dogs with arthritis - all different types of breeds -medical situations. - anxious dogs Neighbors, friends and family have always let me watch their dogs while on vacation or emergencies. I love going to dog parks, and I prefer dogs who get along with other dogs.I live right by city park and horsetooth dog park so I love taking them to go out and play! I allow dogs to stay at my place (boarding) or I am willing to drop by and occasionally stay at your house. I would love to be your next dog sitter. I reply within the day and offer great rates. Cant wait to meet you and your lovely companion. 🐶😊 I work part time and am going to CSU studying Psychology so I will do my best to work around your schedule! I tend to fit well with evenings and nights. I have a lot of breaks in between my classes so it is easy for me to go check on them between that. My prime focus is to make sure the dogs have enough activity throughout the whole day and are being taken care of properly. I follow every single tiny thing you ask me to do by the dot and take animals health and safety very serious. If your dog is aggressive to other dogs or to other people I will not offer services because I have my own dog at home. He is very friendly and loves making new friends. Pet care directions are important and I follow them exactly how you ask. I am big on communication and planning! Other than that, I am happy to pet sit and would love to be your next reliable sitter. ☻

About: I've been house and farm-sitting since I was a kid, taking care of cats, dogs, horses, snakes, chickens, and ducks. My focus is always on what's best for critters given both their species specific and individually unique needs and preferences. I'm also a PhD student in biology studying animal behavior; I have a long-standing interest in animals and have worked with numerous species in my professional biology career - ranging from ants to prairie dogs. With domestic species, I have worked as both a dog-walker and stablehand, caring for stallions and Olympic-level competition horses. I currently have two very charming foster-fail cats, Pancake and Pierre, who live active lives with walks, a large outdoor catio, and as much enrichment as I can devise. I also had Pomeranian named NikNik (visible in my profile photo) who required very extended end-of-life care with round-the-clock medication, cognitive decline and blindness; I have A LOT of practice with high-needs pets, senior care, and creating good experiences for disabled animals. My schedule is flexible. I'm currently working on my PhD and teaching music lessons, so can venture hither and yon with a good deal of freedom. I have a fenced yard and large catio, so pets that visit my home can run around and interact my animals safely. I'm very safety-conscious when I'm out and about with animals, always minding doors, traffic, food, strangers, other critters, etc.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
