About: Hi! I’m an animal lover with lots of hands-on experience training and caring for both dogs and cats. I have two dogs of my own, one is a released service dog and the other is a service dog in training, so puppy raising, training, and working through tricky behaviors are a regular part of my life. I love taking dogs on walks, playing, and keeping them mentally engaged. I’m also a devoted cat parent and love creating enrichment and making sure cats feel comfortable and happy. My background raising service dogs means I bring extra patience, structure, and care to every pet I watch. I'm a full-time student at CSU, but I have a very flexible schedule and only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays! About: I would love to give your dog a fun and comfortable experience while you are away from home! In terms of my pet care experience, I have done drop in visits and house sitting for a few dogs on Rover so far. Before that (when I lived with my parents) I was fully responsible for taking care of my 2 dogs. I absolutely love dogs but I am not able to commit to having a dog of my own at the moment. I just graduated from CSU and have very open availability. I don’t have a lot of daily responsibilities at the moment so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I spend a lot of time going over information pet parent’s give me to be sure I am taking care of their pet correctly. I also pay close attention to the pet’s mood and behavior and adapt to their needs because all pets are different. I know it can be stressful for a pet when their family is away so I try to create a comfortable environment and keep them busy with fun activities.
About: I have previously worked at a dog kennel in Idaho before moving to Colorado. I know how to do oral medications for cats and dogs. I studied veterinary science during my senior year of high school and received certifications in animal handling and husbandry. Even with a full 8:30am–5pm Monday–Friday schedule, I make pet care a priority. I do live in an apartment so boarding isn’t available. I can easily crate your dog if need be, let him or her out to play, and play with them indoors as well. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
