“Excellent experience from start to finish. Reliable, communicative, and clearly experienced with animals. We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! Adrienne took such wonderful care of our pets and house. We received regular updates, photos, and thoughtful communication throughout. It gave us complete peace of mind knowing our animals were safe, happy, and loved while we were away. Highly recommend!”

“Julianne is amazing, and went the extra mile to help us block off one of our plants from our cats while we were away because we were concerned it was causing stomach issues! She’s always super communicative, helpful, and caring! I highly recommend her!”

“Wendy is simply amazing with my cats. She goes above and beyond to help as needed. Anytime I travelled, i honestly always worried about my cats. With Wendy, I really have peace of mind that they are in great hands.”

“Jade took wonderful care of my cat during her daily check-in visits while I was away for a week. The updates she provided every day after her visit were above and beyond anything I expected. She followed the instructions I left for my cat's care and was extremely easy to work with. I will not hesitate to book with Jade again when I'm traveling in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Kaya was SOOO amazing with our little senior man!! He can take a bit to warm up to people and she was so patient with him. She was such an attentive, communicative, and timely sitter - I would highly recommend her for drop ins and overnights!”

About: Like many people here, I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I have helped train both family/friends pets with patience or redirecting behavior rather than relying on punishment. I am a treat heavy household so please let me know of any dietary restrictions! As for why I want help take care of your fur babies, iv promised myself to keep my menagerie at a minimum. I would love to incorporate some new fur friends into my daily routine. I'm more that happy to schedule meet and greets to see if I'm a good fir for you and your family! I'm usually free all day Sunday through Wednesday with the occasional errand runs throughout the day. I'm more than willing to work my schedule around your needs. As for Thursday through Saturday, I will be at work in the afternoons and evenings with fur babys being alone for about 7-8 hours (if they are staying with me or need drop by visits) In my home visits: I will provide walks, outside time in the back yard, and dog park excursions (if permitted). I will also incorporate feeding schedules, medication and any other personal requirements that are needed. Communication is key! In your home visits: I will provided walks on each visit (unless otherwise discussed) scheduled feedings and play/snuggle time. I would prefer not to do overnights unless I can bring my dog with me and all pets get along with in your home.
“Isabella has done an excellent job. She showed up on time, followed our feeding instructions precisely, and spent great quality time with our boys (dogs). They love it when she drops by for a visit and some outdoor playtime. We are very appreciative and fortunate to have had Isabella's help. I would recommend her services to anyone looking for a sitter or walker.”
“Haley did a great job with kitty David. She was thorough disposing the litter box collection and the cans of wet cat food , didn’t come back to a stinky house.Haley was also very flexible with our visits. I will definitely use her again!!”
“Taegan did a great job with our house full of animals. She approached her work with care and kindness and did a thorough job of communicating with us! We thought she went above and beyond (as a tiny example, she noticed our full trash can and took it to the curb on trash day).”

“Stacy took care of our two rabbits while we were gone for a few days and did an excellent job! I would highly recommend her to anyone needing pet-sitting services. Stacy came out ahead of time to meet us, was on time each day with her visits, and faithfully sent us photos and updates after each visit. We knew our buns were in good hands! She also watered the flowers on our porch and moved our trash bin to the street for pick-up. Thank you, Stacy!”

About: I have 2.5 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic, where I learned how to safely handle dogs and cats, recognize signs of illness, and provide compassionate care. Along with caring for my own pets and helping friends with theirs, I’m committed to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m an active pet owner myself. I already prioritize walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and giving my pets attention and companionship throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time to caring for other pets, whether that’s walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care. I enjoy creating a calm, safe environment where pets feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away. I care for pets by treating them like they are my own while also respecting their individual routines and personalities. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping their pet comfortable by following their normal schedule, including feeding, medication (if needed), walks, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I understand that pets feel safest when their routine is maintained, so I prioritize consistency and communication with owners. In my own home, I provide a calm and loving environment with my Australian Shepherd, Moose, and our cat, Leo. I make sure pets have a safe space, proper supervision, exercise, enrichment, and lots of love while they are in my care.

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals, they truly are the joy in the world for me. I have naturally connected with animals from a young age, and that bond shows in how I care for them. I am especially calm and patient with anxious or shy pets, and I take the time to understand their needs and make them feel safe. Caring for animals doesn’t feel like work to me. It’s something that brings me genuine happiness every day. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness will always be top priority. Looking after animals is a meaningful part of my weekly routine. I’m available on weekdays and enjoy making sure pets are happy, safe, and well cared for. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company, I prioritize their comfort and enjoy building trust with each pet. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, trust, and keeping their routine to minimize stress. I follow all instructions, from feeding and meds to playtime and house rules. I treat every home with care and respect. I also provide regular updates with photos, so pet parents feel connected and confident their pet is safe and well-loved.
“Our two cats do not get along. Despite their territorial spats, Patrick has somehow managed to get our trouble makers to play nice! I am astounded to come home from our trips to find the cats as best buddies. Our home is automated for food and water, but the mental stimulation from quality playtime is something you cannot simulate from a machine. According to our two cats, they give him 4 paws up! You can expect from Patrick a sitter that follows directions, thoughtful comments, excellent photos, and reliable availability. Thank you!”

About: I owned over 6 rescue dogs at once, animals are innocent and deserve love, I have worked in clinics before and have seen all shapes and sizes and loved them all I am available at anytime you may need, emergencies happen and I can be there to help! Anytime you need, I’ll be there for you and your fur baby! I always check they have their needs met and if any medical assistance is required I do have clinic experience as well. Keeping animals safe and happy is what I love!
“No stress on our end. This was Sarah’s first actual visit (after a previous meet and greet). Looks, from pics, and sounds like everything went smoothly. It’s been awhile since we’ve left our pooch, so this was super reassuring. Sarah is very calming, and our dog appeared content. Definitely plan to book again.”

About: I've been house and farm-sitting since I was a kid, taking care of cats, dogs, horses, snakes, chickens, and ducks. My focus is always on what's best for critters given both their species specific and individually unique needs and preferences. I'm also a PhD student in biology studying animal behavior; I have a long-standing interest in animals and have worked with numerous species in my professional biology career - ranging from ants to prairie dogs. With domestic species, I have worked as both a dog-walker and stablehand, caring for stallions and Olympic-level competition horses. I currently have two very charming foster-fail cats, Pancake and Pierre, who live active lives with walks, a large outdoor catio, and as much enrichment as I can devise. I also had Pomeranian named NikNik (visible in my profile photo) who required very extended end-of-life care with round-the-clock medication, cognitive decline and blindness; I have A LOT of practice with high-needs pets, senior care, and creating good experiences for disabled animals. My schedule is flexible. I'm currently working on my PhD and teaching music lessons, so can venture hither and yon with a good deal of freedom. I have a fenced yard and large catio, so pets that visit my home can run around and interact my animals safely. I'm very safety-conscious when I'm out and about with animals, always minding doors, traffic, food, strangers, other critters, etc.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bellvue. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
