About: I’ve been around all kinds of animals my whole life. I even started pet sitting when I was little for my neighbors and friends. I’ve been around all sorts of animals. I also grew up with a cat and a dog and did everything I could to properly love and care for them. I am currently a student at CSU, with a very flexible schedule. I start all my classes at 10am. My Monday/Wednesday/Friday Classes end at noon; Tuesday I get out at 1640, and Thursday I get out at 1540. However on my longer days I have a break in between classes at noon. Outside of that I am free to take care of your pets! I prioritize building a good relationship with your animals by respecting their space/environment. I am a guest in their home and I think it’s important to respect that first. Then I approach them with the same respect and intentions I do with my own cat; to love and care for them.

About: I have experience watching dogs, cats, and reptiles. I have cared for very young kittens and dogs in the end of there lives, as well as sick reptiles. I work from 7-3:30 weekdays, and am looking to work with pets on weekends and after work. My weekends are very free and I am flexible. I have no doubt that dogs are a human's best friend - and I love them for that! Growing up, my family had a very sweet Staffordshire Bull Terrier who we raised from birth, and everyone knew she was basically my dog because I loved her so much. Friends and acquaintances have relied on me to exercise and care for their animals when they are away for many years. I took care of a high-energy Vizla in Santa Barbara, CA, who woke up early and required a lot of exercise on the beach. I am currently walking and caring for a little, mixed breed older guy with some abandonment issues (in Fort Collins), and my partner also has an older, female German Shepherd in Cheyenne that I adore. I am enjoying growing my clientele here in Fort Collins, as well as in Cheyenne. I am responsible and detail-oriented, so you can feel very comfortable that your pets will get their medications and exercise while you are away, and that your home will be left in good hands. I enjoy walking, especially in parks and natural areas, and getting exercise together with a dog is much more enjoyable and entertaining than walking alone. I also have a car (Subaru) and am able to transport your pet in the back as needed. Please NOTE: 1.) I only book 3 months ahead, due to a changing schedule and availability. I will start booking for December on October 1, 2026 and for January on November 1, 2026. 2.) For NOVEMBER & DECEMBER bookings: MONDAY-FRIDAY, I can only provide house-sitting cat care and/or low-maintenance care for dogs (e.g. 1 evening walk per day and ability for dog to be home alone for the entire work day, preferably with a doggy door and a backyard). On WEEKENDS (Saturday & Sunday) in November & December, I can provide as much care as needed during the day and evenings. 3.) HOLIDAY bookings: I am still available for holiday booking Dec 28-Jan 3; my base holiday rate is $79/night, with add-ons for additional pets. I recently completed an MBA degree at Colorado State University focused on corporate sustainability, and for the next few months I am training for my financial advising certifications. I can study almost anywhere, which enables me to be present for your pets. I live in Fort Collins, but drive to Cheyenne regularly and also enjoy visiting neighborhoods further south and closer to Denver. My background is in environmental science, and I worked as a middle school science teacher for 7 years. In a client's home, I pay close attention to the care instructions left for me and maintain a schedule as close as possible to that of the owner so that your pet feels as comfortable as possible. Depending on the client's preferences, I communicate regularly with pictures and messages regarding how your pet is doing on a daily basis...but I am also happy to only reach out if there is an issue, enabling you to relax and disconnect from daily life. I am mindful of maintaining a good relationship between your pet and community while you are away by picking up all of your pet's poo while walking and helping to limit barking noise if possible. I prefer to meet your pet while you are still home so that they can get to know me and grow comfortable with me. Ideally I would love to build longer-term relationships with my clients and their pets, but a one-time assignment is also great.
