About: I have experience taking care of animals as my own pets and as a self-employed petsitter, in addition to my experience in my current position as an overnight and daytime supervisor at a dog daycare/pet hotel. I have been trusted with the care of dogs, cats, rats/other rodents, birds, reptiles, and other exotic pets. In addition to my experience with walking/feeding/general care, I am also very familiar with the administration of medications and other appropriate medical care as prescribed by a veterinarian, and have been trained to give both dogs and cats oral medications, subcutaneous injections (including insulin for diabetic animals), flea/tick/lice treatments, as well as specialized care for elderly/special needs pets. In addition, I am trained in humane training techniques and positive reinforcement, and can do some basic obedience training with dogs of all ages. I also have experience with animals who are fearful and/or have behavioral issues such as reactivity and aggression. I am familiar with the hard work and attention required to care for and handle animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities, and look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I'm currently working full-time, but have availability throughout the week with plenty of time to hang out with your animals! (Usually unavailable Monday, as well as Wednesday/Saturday from around 2-11pm. Can house sit overnight any day of the week except Sunday/Monday.) I care for your pets like I would my own. Your pets will receive quality care, with your home care instructions followed precisely (including scheduled meal times, medications if applicable, walks, supervised play time, etc.) I am reachable by phone at any time and can also send updates about how your pet is doing!

“Leta is amazing. Promt and trustworthy! She takes extra time to give your dog some love. My little guy loves her! 😊 would absolutely recommend her.”

About: My whole life, I have had a family dog so I am very experienced in the responsibilities of dog care. Currently, I am raising a 6 month old future service dog for Canine Companions. With this responsibility, I attend bimonthly training classes in which a certified dog trainer runs us through training exercises and improves the skills we have bene working on with our pups. I also have to submit monthly progress reports and keep up with the rigorous schedule of training and hygiene for my dog. This position required me to go through 35 hours of sitting other future service dogs on the CSU campus in which I received over 100. I also had to go through a certification process through a training club on campus which included a handling and written portion. There was then a club wide interview followed by a Canine Companions phone interview. I was then able to receive an 8 week old puppy who I will train until she is 16 months old. Therefore, I have experience with very young puppies to senior dogs. I love dogs of all ages and sizes! Currently, I am on summer break and am taking 8 credit hours of asynchronous summer classes. I am also a babysitter and an undergraduate researcher. Any time outside of these constraints will be dedicated to pet care. I do not have an official, full-time job and my weekends are often free. I am happy to hang out with your pup and/or take them for a good walk! If you are interested in services starting in August, my class schedule is as follows: M: 9-11 Tu: 8-9:15, 1-6 W: 9-11, 4-8 Th: 8-3 F: 9-11 Any time outside of these classes, I would be more than happy to leave midday to check-in on your pet! For drop-in visits, I will let the dog outside, feed them, fill their water bowl, play with them and cuddle with them (all within the requirements of the owner.) I am happy to stay for any duration or frequency the owner wants as long as it doesn't conflict with my class schedule. For walks, I love long walks and am delighted to take as long of a walk as the pup needs. I will be very receptive to the specific dog for the type of walk we take. With my knowledge from puppy training, I will look for signs of stress and be weary of greeting any other dogs or wildlife we pass.

“Drew is the best! He has a calm, genuine, and kind personality and the dogs immediately took to him. He's also an amazing and intuitive trainer.”

About: Hi everyone! I took a long break from Rover since for the last couple of years I’ve had 15-18 credit semesters. But now I officially have more manageable course load. And I get back to giving your pets the best care. For my entire life I’ve always been in a household with dogs and cats. I love animals! I have trained multiple puppies, a few that were not my one. I adapt the care to each animal catered to them for their individual needs. Every animal is so different from each other and they deserve the care they need. I have worked with a range of dogs, from 8 weeks old to seniors, to high-energy herding dog breeds to low-energy as well. I will play with them for as long as they want to play. I’m attentive to any needs that a dog may need. Since I’ve grown up with animals I give every single client the treatment and love as if they were my own. With dogs which includes a lot of playing, running, treats (when appropriate) walking, and a ton of belly rubs. I also love cats, and I work very well with them. I understand how they want affection, play, and also when they want to consent to their space. I strive to make any animal the happiest after any encounter I have with them. I’m organized and can follow schedule and exact instructions. availability does vary i of any day you need. I am a full time student at CSU and I’m currently unemployed. My schedule does vary, there are a few unable spots I wasn’t able to add on Rover. But I’m very responsive and reached out to me! We can definitely figure out a set up time and date that works out for you and for me. I now have my cat in my place of living. I won’t be able to do any house sitting at my place or at your home. But I can still do walks and check-ins. I do have a strict rules when I take them out they will be on the leash at all times. In the client’s home I ask a lot of questions of the rules of the house. Where the dogs can be, and if they are okay to be in the backyard if there is one. I make sure that both I and the dog are safe in every environment.

“Jamie was patient and kind with our Ella, and I could tell from the photos she sent that Ella looked forward to walks with her. You can count on Jamie!”

“I've been having Teia do twice-weekly dog walks and things have worked out great. She's punctual, sends pictures, and records the route and other details from the walk.”

“Emily was a great sitter. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.”

“Ava was truly fantastic. We booked her on such short notice because of an unplanned trip, and she even came over to meet our puppy first. Our pup loved Ava so much that he got the zoomies. Ava is very trust worthy and kind. Definitely will be reaching out to her when we take other trips this summer.”

About: I love animals with all of my heart! I’ve had a dog in the past, unfortunately he has since passed away due to old age. Although I would love to have a pet of my own, I can’t have one in my current apartment. I’m excited to be a companion and guardian for your precious animal ✨ I’m currently doing online school so I have plenty of time to spend with your little one! I’m excited to spend time with your little one while helping support my schooling endeavors :) I live right by spring creek trail and a couple parks. I love going for long walks and have plenty of space for your fur baby to join me.

“Very good at communicating and shows she cares!”

“Kaitlyn took great care of our Wolfie while we were away. She took him on long walks and even assisted with a couple of extra requests (e.g. giving him an antibiotic unexpectedly after a last minute health problem). We would book her again!”

About: Hi!! I am a college student with plenty of energy to burn with your dog! I have cared for dogs/cats of every kind for years, friends and neighbors have always gone to me in search of help for their pet. I have two dogs and two cats at home and have always had multiple pets in the household my entire life! They aren’t just our furry friends, they’re our family!! I currently work a part-time job and am taking a few summer classes, so I have plenty of time to care for your pup(s) or kitty(s) I know the ins and out of kennels, harnesses, feeding, etc. I love to take my dogs on walks and throw toys around for them to play with or some tug o war! My pups love lick mats and I think they are a great addition to implement in any pets life, to aid in their cognitive abilities and keep their brains stimulated. I pick up on things very quickly and can complete tasks effectively. I recently adopted a cat whom has congenital bone deformities causing her to have luxating patella’s. This means I am experienced in administering medications and handling pets with medical issues or specific needs. Due to my kitties issues she has a funny looking walk and can’t always jump up/down surfaces. This has allowed me to be very perceptive in pets needs and their cues.

About: I have around two years of professional pet care experience from when I worked at a pet boarding facility/daycare. I have pet sit for many friends, neighbors, and family members for years as well. Growing up my family and I would foster both dogs and cats, most being very young! I’m currently a student at CSU! So my Wednesdays are usually jam-packed this semester, but I’m pretty much free every other day of the week. I unfortunately don't have the facilities to care for pets in my home at the time, but I am more than willing to create a safe space for your dog in their own home (aka their safe space). If they need to be crated at night or when I leave the house I am perfectly fine with that.

“Very helpful and great with goose!”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs for over 20 years at every stage of their lives and I also have experience with aggressive dogs, cats, iguanas, and rats. I just moved to Colorado from NJ and am still looking for employment, so I have open availability and can also cater to last minute requests! I care for pets in clients home with great care, making sure not to overstep any boundaries. I am a calm presence to make sure they feel extra safe with me around. Although I live in an apartment, my complex has it's own dog park and I am a five minute walk from the Poudre Whitewater Park. I also have a balcony to relax on and watch the birds fly by.

Morgan H.Star Sitter
“Morgan is a deeply caring person and loves animals to his core. I couldn’t recommend Morgan enough or think of another person I’d want to watch my dogs more. I might freak out if he isn’t available the next time I need a pet sitter actually. One of my dogs has aggression issues and the other is a rescue with trust and obedience issues. Morgan has actually helped tremendously with training both of them. They both like him more than me to be honest, and that is saying something. Morgan was recommended to me for having years of experience pet sitting many different animals for a friend of mine. He also works at a pet boarding place when not pet sitting. It is unbelievable how Morgan is a with the two dogs I have and I’m so grateful to have found him.”
