Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. For drop-in visits, I make sure each pet gets everything they need, letting them outside, feeding them, refreshing their water, and giving them plenty of playtime and affection (always following the owner’s preferences and instructions). I’m flexible with visit length and frequency as long as it doesn’t overlap with my class/club schedule. For walks, I love long, relaxing walks and am happy to go at whatever pace or distance your dog prefers. Thanks to my puppy-raising and training experience, I’m attentive to a dog’s body language, will avoid stressful interactions, and will stay mindful around other dogs and wildlife. My goal is to make every walk or visit safe, positive, and tailored to each pet’s needs.
Information Haley D. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or accommodations when you make your appointment 3 days in advance. I am not trained to handle special needs dogs but may be able to make arrangements. If your pet has any special routines, treats or quirks, please also let me know!
A typical day
I would love to play with your pets and cuddle them! We would play games, play outside and do any training that is needed. For puppies, we will do lots of activity to hopefully tucker them out before you return home. For senior dogs, we would take it slow, have some cuddles and pets and do any activities they are capable of doing.

Dog Lover & Puppy Trainer
Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’m currently raising a future service dog for Canine Companions with one having just graduated as a service dog in training, which has given me extensive hands-on experience with training, behavior, and daily care for dogs of all ages. As a puppy raiser, I attend bimonthly classes led by certified trainers, complete monthly progress reports, and follow a structured routine for training, exercise, and hygiene. To take on this role, I completed 35+ hours of dog-sitting for other future service dogs at CSU, earned certification through a campus training club (including both written and handling assessments), and passed interviews with the club and Canine Companions. I then received my puppy at 8 weeks old and will raise her until she is about 16 months, so I’m very familiar with managing the chaos, teething, and messes of young puppies, as well as caring for adult and senior dogs. My family dog can also be reactive so I have experience with that as well. In addition to dogs, I also have a cat at home and am comfortable with feline care. I’m happy to administer medications when needed, and I genuinely love taking dogs out for walks, enrichment, and exercise. I’m confident, patient, and committed to making sure every pet in my care feels safe, loved, and well-supported—no matter their age or size!

Reviews

Haley is dependable and kind-hearted, and we recommend her without reservations!

Haley is AMAZING!!! We could not wish for someone who is more attentive, caring and responsible to take care of Harry (50lb. English Bulldog). Thank you with all our hearts, we WILL be reaching out next time 😊

Haley was so sweet and took excellent care of our cats while we were gone. I loved the peace of mind with how thorough her dropping updates were and love the amount of photos she sent of our kitties! As someone that kind of gets anxious leaving their pet home, I felt like Haley completely reduced that feeling by how thorough her communication was. Our cats loved her!

Haley did a great job and was very communicative. I feel extremely comfortable with her walking our dogs!
