My own house is equipped with a mid size yard and a small doggy door. I do have a small dog and cat at my house that are friendly but still require proper introductions.

I’d really like to have an idea of your pets personality! Whether they require a slow greeting or would like to get right into belly rubs, and what their favorite toys are.
A typical day
During a drop in visit for a cat, I’d begin by feeding them. While the cat is eating, I will clean the litter box and the surrounding areas. After the cat has finished eaten, I’ll wash their bowls. Then for play time and cuddles! I’ll need to get to know the cat before figuring out what activity they like but one example would be some fetch, as I know my cat loves fetch! Then to wind down, I’ll get some brushing done and some cuddle time. During a drop in for a pup, I’d also begin with a feeding, and some tidying up. I’d follow it up with a nice long walk to get some energy out. Then lots of fetch, belly rubs and tug of war.

Owning dogs since being a young child has ingrained the responsibilities that come with caring for animals. I understand that animals are a lot of work and require time and love. Having a cat for two years has diversified my experience as I truly understand the nuances in animals behavior and the way that different animals can require different approaches.
