About: I've lived with cats and dogs my entire life, and I love being around them. From St. Bernards to Boston Terriers, to Maine Coons to Cornish Rexes, there have been a wide variety of animal pals in my care. In addition to that, I've also done washing, nail trimming, and administered basic medications, both oral and topical. At the moment, I have open availability. Even if you need a night walk for your pets, I can do that too. All breeds welcome. I check locks, windows, and doors multiple times a visit to ensure that I have not left anything open or unlocked. I also try to be mindful of where the pets are, so they do not have the chance to escape.

I am so grateful to have found Scarlet to housesit before a week away for work. She responded promptly, set up a complimentary meet and greet with me and my dog, and answered all of my questions. As other reviews have mentioned, she has a calm, friendly demeanor and lots of animal experience so my sometimes anxious dog was instantly at ease with her. I also felt like she was knowledgeable on animal care, and appreciated that she is a pre-vet student. During the trip, she sent me regular updates and photos, and asked questions if needed. It gave me great peace of mind to know she was so attentive and not just doing the minimum to get the job done. When I had a last-minute flight issue with my return flight and was seriously concerned that I might be delayed getting home, she was even willing to extend housesitting another night so my dog wouldn’t be alone. I did fortunately make it home and found the house clean, sheets washed, trash emptied, and everything in its place. In summary, I highly recommend her as a competent, caring, highly responsible dogsitter in the Fort Collins area and will book her again without hesitation!

Alex was FANTASTIC! I had to leave town a few days after my senior dog had a leg amputation and I was super nervous to not be with her. I truly cannot recommend Zara enough! She was absolutely amazing and took such incredible care of our animals and our home while we were away. From the very beginning, her communication was fantastic. She sent plenty of pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing our babies were happy and well cared for. She also took wonderful care of our house, kept everything clean, and even went above and beyond by starting a load of laundry with the things she had used before leaving! What meant the most to me was the care she gave our ducks. They had been injured shortly before our trip, and I was honestly terrified to leave them. They required wound care and extra attention, and Zara followed every instruction I left and made sure they received the care they needed. I can’t even begin to explain how much that meant to us. We have quite a few animals, and leaving them is never easy for me. This was genuinely the first trip in a very long time that I was able to fully relax and enjoy myself because I knew our babies were in such good hands. Zara went above and beyond in every possible way. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after, and that kind of love and attention is priceless. Hailey stayed with our Westie Minnie when we were out of town and we appreciate the great job, she did keeping us informed of how things were going, and we appreciated she washed anything she used, and we barely could tell someone had been here. We will definitely ask her back:)
Nicole was excellent for housesitting and watching our dog while we were away. She is extremely friendly and caring.
