“As a pet owner, finding and trusting someone to care for your four legged best friends can be emotionally challenging. Shayna was great. Very professional, providing regular updates which put our minds at ease, allowing me to enjoy our trip. I would recommend Shayna to any pet owner and I intend to request her to care for our dogs the next time we are out of town. Thank you Shayna!”

“Kept me informed to dog loved her and appears the feeling mutual. Wouldn't hesitate to call on Allison again. I got hung up on return by a few hours and she stayed with my furry housemate till I got home.”

“Sasha did really well with our two large dogs. They were a bit difficult for her at first bit she was patient and let them get comfortable with her. She left the house cleaner than when we left! I hope to have her sit for our dogs again.”

About: I’ve always had a dog in my life, I’ve cared for them in various states of health and temperament! I’ve trained and nursed puppies, helped ease dogs in hospice, cared for post-surgery pups, everything in between, and given them all my love, patience, and full attention. I’m currently working from home so I have a fairly flexible schedule! I know how necessary it is to be present for a pet, and would be happy to offer my time! My home: I have a fenced yard and a dog door for accessibility! I have one other dog in the home, but she will always be separate. Your home: I will treat your property with respect and regard. Any utilities — from walking harnesses, crates, etc. — you have necessary for the care of your pet I will happily use!
About: When I walk into a new space with new faces, I walk past them all to greet the furry friends first. In the company of other animals is my happy place. My schedule is currently flexible and open, hours, weekends, and holidays. I am available for short notice stays or visits as well as extended stays. I am currently available for all services needed in client homes, whether that is over night stays or just a visit for a walk, I am open to working through your individual needs.
“Hannah was reliable and conscientious. She seemed to really enjoy my dogs and I think they enjoyed her. She responsibly adapted to a medical issue and reached out with concerns. Great communication!”

About: I grew up around many animals (dogs, guinea pigs, birds, turtles, and cats) I currently have two dogs of my own, and I love taking them to the park and playing with all the dogs there. I’m happy caring for pets, my neighbors and friends also trust me to walk and care for their pets. I’m currently doing a full-time externship, but I have Thursdays free, Fridays after 3 PM, and weekends available. I’m happy to care for pets during these times and give them plenty of attention, walks, and playtime. I provide walks, playtime, and supervision at the pet’s home. I make sure they are safe, comfortable, and happy while they are in my care.
“Jade was great! Touched base with us often enough that we felt comfortable and sent sweet pictures of Lucie. House looked great when we returned and Lucie seemed relaxed and happy when we returned.”

“Brooklyn did an amazing job with my animals and they were so comfortable with her! She was excellent at checking in and updating me about them and making sure everyone is happy. Will definitely book again!”

“Lewis was a wonderful dog sitter! Our dogs were well taken care of, and he left our house clean and tidy. He provided ample updates so we didn't have to worry about our dogs while we were away. He also watered some plants for me. We'll certainly use him again!”

About: I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by them — both in my own home and in the homes of friends — and they were always treated as part of the family (couch snuggles and all!). Being around dogs brings me so much job. I genuinely believe they boost serotonin. I'm the kind of person that sees a dog and has to ask if I can say hello. I'm reliable, attentive, and truly care about making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved. While I'm not in a position to have a dog of my own right now, getting to care for others' dogs is something that feeds my soul. I work a typical 8–4 schedule most weekdays and work remotely on Fridays. Some days my hours shift slightly due to work events, but I’m happy to coordinate drop-ins, walks, or visits around your dog’s routine. Evenings and weekends are usually wide open, so I can give pets plenty of attention, playtime, and care. I'll check with you to understand your dog's individual mannerisms, so I know the best way to approach walks, playtime, and interactions. I'll tend err on the side of caution — for example, avoiding other dogs or people when needed, even if your dog is friendly, since not all dogs may react the same. To create a safe, trusting, and comfortable environment, I follow the owner's guidance and tailor care to what is best for your dog.
“My husband and I planned a vacation and our normal sitter was not available. Becca was used as a Dog Sitter for one of our neighbors so I knew she was reliable. I have never had used any one off Rover for an overnight stay at our house with our dog so I was very nervous, especially since this wasn’t a one or two night trip, we were gone for five nights. I had a lot of anxiety about leaving him with someone new, but I felt very comfortable once I met Becca and felt she was going to do her best while taking care of my dog. I left detailed notes which might have been too much but Becca understood that I was just trying to keep my dog on his schedule and comfortable. Becca sent lots of photos and updates about my dog daily which really helped put me at ease. Becca helped me enjoy my vacation worry-free with her communication and updates! I had no issues and my dog loved her! She’s communicative and super sweet, I can’t wait to use Becca again! I highly recommend Becca 🙂🫶🏼 ⭐️”

“We had such a great experience with Susan while she watched Bodhi and Chloe! She was communicative, reliable, and clearly cared so much about our dogs. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands, and it was clear Bodhi and Chloe were happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. We would absolutely book Susan again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and attentive dog sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of our pups!”

Severance pet parents share their Rover experiences
Lexie is amazing!! She was punctual and responsive with all communication, our meet & greet and for our booking. She stayed at our home with our 3 dogs and cat and treated them like they were her own. She had no issues giving meds and dealing with personality quirks. Our animals loved her. Our house was immaculate when we got home. We will definitely hire her again.
