“Our dog had a great time. Running around in the yard and being cared for. Will definitely see if Stephanie and Jennifer are available for the next time we're out of town!”

“Jessica was really great with Leo. Her kids and Luca were also super awesome. She was extremely nice and will give you daily updates on your little ones progress. We really appreciate it Jessica.”

“Very grateful for Ciaras care for my dog. I was nervous dog mom & she made me feel so comfortable, we had a meet & greet, and she reassured me that my dog was going to have a great time. She was very attentive, trusting, caring, loving, & sent me updates daily. She’s honestly the best!!! I appreciate all her efforts and time. I highly recommend you book with her. You & your pup will not be disappointed. Can’t wait to book with Ciara again!”

“Best dog sitter ever! She’s awesome. Loky has been with her four times and I can’t think about anyone else better than her. She sends photos, videos and takes care of him like if Loky were of her own.”
“Danna and her dog Olie were the best! This was my Daisy's 1st time to spend a couple of days and over night without me. I was very worried how she would do because she has a very strong separation anxiety from me. She did great and Danna sent so many photos to ease my mind and heart ❤️. I would recommend her on a dime. I missed Daisy but not like I thought I would and it was because of the great pictures. Thank you Danna and Olie for making this an awesome transition for us.”

“Carrie treated our pup like our own! She was also very accommodating and attentive, and we will be booking with her again soon. This was our first rover experience and our first time leaving our pup, and she made it worry free for us and fun for Olive!”

“Darby was a great dog sitter for our dog!! She sent tons of updates, took her on many walks and our dog had so much fun with her and her family. She was easy to communicate with and I would book her again in the future!”

“Rosa clearly loves animals and is a great communicator. I'd hire her again in a heart beat to watch my little guy - he was definitely well cared for and it's clear that he enjoyed his boarding stay when I picked him up. If you're looking for a great sitter Rosa's the one!”

About: Have dog sat a couple of times. I don't have a dog, but willing to have one around the house for those who need a dog sitter for a few days. My wife and I have opposite work schedule, so someone is home about 85 % of the time. Would be able to have someone take dogs for walks throughout the day, or watch them in the back yard Pets will be indoor. Have a fenced back yard when needed to go outside for bathroom needs. We don't have other pets , so your pet would not take away attention from your pet
“Saffini is so great! Amazing communication, pictures whenever I asked, and attentive to our dogs individual needs. Our pup had a great time with her and he doesn’t always do well, so we HIGHLY recommend Saffini!”

“Heather was so accommodating and awesome with our dog. Even when I got the dates mixed up on our reservation, she was willing to work with me and adjust to my needs. She sent pictures everyday and reassured me that everything was going smoothly while I was away. She let my dog roam freely in the yard and house and I could tell my dog was very well taken care of and happy when I brought her home. I would highly recommend Heather to any dog parent!”

“Sidney took fantastic care of my cat and was very flexible when I had a change in my transportation situation. Im very happy that my cat could warm up to the home and have a nice week while i was away.”

“Marina and Conner were so patient with our pet who was a bit more than they bargained for. But it allowed us to have a worry free vacation. We so appreciated their updates and feedback. Thank you so much!”

“Shelly is amazing! When we travel we know that Molly is in good hands, having fun and enjoying her time with other dogs. Last time Molly even made a Christmas handcraft!!!! 🥰”

Jordyn is a fantastic sitter!!! She clearly loves and understands dogs. She took amazing care of our pup and stayed in close contact with us the whole time, sending lots of photos and videos. She took special care to make sure that all our dogs needs were met, including plenty of play time with lots of toys. I will definitely be using her services again in the future and cannot recommend her enough!

Our dog Remington loves Callie and Aaron and they always take the best care of him as well as send the cutest pictures while we are gone. Remington mostly only stays with family but I think he enjoys staying with Callie the most. He loves their dog Nugget and enjoys all the snuggles and walks. Thanks for all the love you give to our old boy!

Naomi is excellent as always! She is professional and trustworthy - and my girls love her and her beautiful family. She keeps me updated with real-time photos/videos of my girls, so I know they are being well-cared for and safe. I would highly recommend her for all of your pet-sitting needs!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
