“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter during such a difficult time. While we were laying my grandmother to rest, Misty gave us peace of mind and even a reason to smile. Her communication was excellent, lots of photos and videos that really helped ease my wife’s stress. When our flight got canceled, she graciously kept our dog an extra day without hesitation, which meant so much to us. Our dog clearly had an amazing time. She fell in love with her daughter and played tons of catch. We will absolutely be using her again. Only downside? When we got home, our dog was bored 😂 which tells you everything.”

“Sidney was great and Ivy trusted her immediately! We got picture updates along the way and you could tell she was having a good time! I will happily use Sidney’s services again in the future! Thank you for taking great care of our fur-baby!”

“I look forward to taking Finn to Ben’s when we go out of town. Finn loves playing with his two dogs, especially his 1-year-old energetic pup with amazing agility! Ben walks Finn along the lakes. We can tell he loves all kinds of dogs and that this is a passion for him, not just a job! He sends photos that warm our hearts. We will continue to bring Finn to Ben for his care of Finn!”

“Laurel and her family took great care of our dog! We received daily pics and knew he was getting lots of love, attention and playtime with their dogs! We will definitely rebook with laurel for future needs!”

About: Growing up, I had all kinds of animals- dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, fish- but there was always a family dog. In our house, we now have two friendly and sociable pups of our own- Whiskey, our old grump, and Tennessee, our little snugglebug. We believe in humane training and unconditional love in this house and have welcomed many dogs into our home in the past. My husband and I both work from home, so there's always someone on site to make sure your pup is safe and loved on. We have a fully fenced yard ready for zoomies and play situated in a lovely, quiet neighborhood perfect for walks. We'd love if you'd join us! Both my husband and I work full-time with flexible home office, so there's always someone on site! We go for walks and play around in the yard on a daily basis. We have a fully fenced (6 ft) yard and two friendly dogs. Dogs are just as welcome inside as they are outside, with covered couches and cozy beds around the house.
“Ashley and her family were wonderful! Such a sweet family. They took great care of Indie; who came home happy and exhausted. Thanks so much you guys!! Hope to see you again soon!”

“Dalia and Dainius are great! I was able to do a meet and greet prior to the booking- they were very detailed and kind. They took excellent care of my dog during her stay, updated with pictures, and went on a lovely walk. Thank you again for watching Ethel!”

“Dana is absolutely amazing! She kept me updated with photos and was very patient with me when explaining the very specific needs of my very fussy diabetic dog. I don’t always feel comfortable leaving him with someone outside of the vet because of his medications but Dana made me feel so comfortable right from the first meeting! I will absolutely be booking again because I completely trust Dana with my little old man. Thank you so much Dana!”

“Apple was great with our dog! Her family and her dog all made our dog feel at home. Loved all the pictures she sent us while we were away as well. Great with communication. Will definitely use Apple again in the future.”

“Kimberly was incredible with my dogs. One is terrified of fireworks so we were hesitant to leave her over the Fourth of July. Kimberly got her cozy with a sound machine and lots of love. My other dog is a paralyzed high maintenance gal and Kimberly didn’t shy away from learning her routine at all. I can’t tell you what a relief it is to leave your babies and not be worried about them the whole time. And she sent lots of sweet photos! Thank you!”

“Great booking with Ryan and his wife. Got great updates and pictures. They have the perfect set up for dog sitting with a great yard, plenty of gates for separation, if needed, and gentle, but playful hosts.”

“I could just tell when i walked in the door that bowie was going to be well taken care of. My puppy usually has a hard time when we leave her at a boarding house. She doesnt eat much, and barks all night but not this time! She didn't lose weight, slept and got all kinda of walks and cuddles and I got to relax on my trip because I could tell she was happy and relaxed! Definetely going back thank you so much Meagan!!!”

About: Hi! I am a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet mom with a home full of personalities - including 4 dogs (Great Dane puppy mixes, a Great Pyr mix, and a senior pittie who keeps things interesting) and 3 cats. Because of that, I am super comfortable with all sizes, breeds, and temperaments - from giant, high energy dogs, to tiny sensitive guys who need a little extra love, and even the occasional grumpy senior. I truly understand how important it is to keep pets in their normal routine while you're away and I have experience with training, medicine administration, and specialized diets as well as feeding schedules. My goal during every interaction with your babies is to make them as comfy as possible while maintaining their routine, and make them feel loved while their people are away. I am especially patient with shy, anxious, or older pets and always adjust my approach based on what they need. I also know how important communication is, so you will get updates and photos regularly! As a pet mom myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your babies with someone, so I make sure to treat every pet like they're my own! I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate most drop-in visits, feeding schedules, potty breaks, and pet care routines throughout the day. Since caring for my own pets is already a part of my daily routine, providing reliable and consistent care for other pets fits very naturally into my schedule. I care for every pet based on their individual needs and routine. I am used to managing multiple pets with different personalities, feeding schedules, diets, and energy levels. Safety, consistency and comfort are always my priority. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, fresh food & water, meds if needed, and love! I am happy to follow specific instructions closely. I am also open to pet sitting in my home for animals who are dog, cat and kid friendly. My home is very pet-centered, and I understand how important it is for animals to feel safe and cared for.

“Darby was a great dog sitter for our dog!! She sent tons of updates, took her on many walks and our dog had so much fun with her and her family. She was easy to communicate with and I would book her again in the future!”

“So lucky to find Tiffany and family to take care of our newly rescued Sammy! She shared updates everyday to let us know he was safe and happy while we were gone. We will definitely be using them again when we travel!”

“My kitty had so much fun during her stay! I was able to see daily pictures and videos of her and Sing-Chun followed all instructions and went above and beyond to make Mafalda comfortable.”

About: I have owned pure-bred, rescues, fosters, disabled, and re-homed pets throughout my life (mostly large 40+lbs., but small as well.) I've provided training from puppy age into late-life comfort care. I also have a masters degree in behavior analysis and reinforcement training. I work from home as a part-time artist, so I'm around most the day as well as my dad. There is also a doggy door from outside into the garage (but not into the house). I trained Kizzy to push a button that says "outside" so I let her out as needed throughout the day and when one goes out, the rest tend to follow so plenty of potty breaks! I try to allocate ~5min to each pup for 1:1 lovings and belly rubs at some point in the day! Kizzy has a very flexible eating schedule and I am happy to accommodate feeding as needed for your pup. (Let me know about food aggression!) I tend to walk pups late in the evening when there's less distraction, less noise, and cooler, but we DO stop and smell the roses... and grass... and benches...and fire hydrants....etc. no rush here! Also, everyone gets a LED glow collar because safety first! Safety is a priority! Behavior Analysis is my field of expertise, which is primarily the use of reinforcement procedures to change behavior (mostly for individuals with autism!) This means I do NOT implement punishment procedures but rather "ignore" the undesired behavior, so rest assured no punishment for potty accidents or unbearably tempting trash bins :) LED glow collars for nighttime walking. Can feed separately or together depending on your pup's needs! Will supervise feeding, especially initially! Also happy to accommodate medication administration if needed. I have a very social 6 year old boxer mix named Kizzy who is active, tolerant, great with sharing and loves new friends! I have a 4ft fenced in yard, which backs up to a walking path with other dogs often walking by (so let me know about reactivity issues!) I prefer to have your babies here in my home as it allows me to work from home. I have multiple dog beds, a basket of toys, an extra large crate if needed, I keep water filled, yummy organic treats. I have lots of walking paths in me neighborhood, a nearby dog park, and kizzy loves swimming in the river so water-loving dogs are welcome! I have cared for higher-needs pets including geriatric, blind, deaf, and even one which was paralyzed and used a wheelchair! I am very comfortable with administering meds, the "cone of shame", assisting with mobility up/down stairs, etc. However, I am also available to stop by your home for potty breaks/medications/water refill/etc. and am available to pick the pups up myself depending on time of day! I am very flexible, just let me know what ya need!
“Rebekah was seriously the best! Not only did she send us a ton of great pictures and videos, but you could tell she genuinely loved hanging out with our pups. We did a meet-and-greet at the park before booking, and just like all her other reviews said, she took detailed notes and asked all the right questions. She was super patient and kind, especially with us being brand new to Rover, and made sure she had everything she might need, like vet info, just in case. What really stood out was how much she cared—not just about our dogs, but about us too. We were traveling for a death in the family, and she would send sweet, thoughtful messages while we were gone that really meant a lot. She was also super observant with our pups and gave us some great tips and insights when we picked them up. I would 100% recommend Rebekah to anyone looking for someone who will love your pups like they’re her own!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
